Say No 2 GT Tow!! The scam became apparent as soon as I arrived to pay the ransom for my car when they tried to charge me $150 more than what I had been quoted and legally allowed by KC city ordinance, so I refused which pissed them off, but they had no choice but to concede cuz i was right, so they tried a couple other scams to steal all they could, but thankfully, I had support so they had to settle for only $400...smh So, when they finally got around to returning my car, I had serious concerns and no confidence or trust in these clowns, so we were watching extra close as dumb & dumber hooked their truck up to my car which was parked near the gate and in plain view at all times from our vantage point. My friend and I even discussed being surprised that my car hadn't been damaged by the tow and noted that it looked just like it did when we last saw it. Nonetheless, we still watched intently as they hooked her up and pulled it from their yard and out the gate directly in front of us to the spot that they agreed to drop it so we could repair the damaged ball joint which set this mess into motion. After it failed and left me stranded, I left a detailed note with my name & number which stated clearly that we ran for parts and would be back shortly to make the repair, but of course, these lying gypsy thieves had already towed it by the time we made it back despite my note and all the trouble I went thru went through to move it to a safe spot & out of the flow of traffic. The tow was unnecessary and had nothing to do with safety. It was just a scam which allowed these vile thieves to steal over $400 from a single mother and full time student. There is no possible way to mistake what occurred next & literally unfolded just 3 feet from where we stood waiting & obviously carefully watching, as they dropped my car & was shocked as we watched the lying incompetent idiot assistant attempted to unhook their gear from my car, which he obviously failed miserably to do properly because after signaling the all clear to the driver which indicated to us and to the driver, we assume that they were unhooked and safe to pull away when clearly, it was not safe to do so and therefore, we were forced to helplessly watch in disbelief as the driver pulled away and took my front bumper with him. There is absolutely no question, hesitation or doubt whatsoever that we watched this fool rip my damn bumper off my car. It was plain and obvious what had just occurred. An unmistakable & undeniable negligent mistake had just damaged my vehicle as we watched which was clearly GT Tow's fault & we both fully expected them to apologize, take responsibility & at least try to help us repair the damage they had just caused and at least attempt resolve the matter honestly & respectfully, but in true thief/thug fashion, they chose to be ugly by lying & attempting to shift the blame to us instead. These punks actually had the nerve to look each of us straight in our eyes and lie & deny what we all just watched happen. They proceeded to call us liars and other names as they disgustingly denied what we all knew to be fact that we watch unfold a few feet from where we all three were standing in the street. we all knew there was zero doubt or question that they damaged my car but they denied it anyway & said it was like when they first arrived which was a complete fabrication. Then they doubled down & began being rude & calling us names & even got aggressive when we called them out for their lies, ugliness & unprofessional nonsense, nastiness and outright fraud. Just a couple lying con artists that actually had the nerve to get into my friends face when he called them out on their BS. Ridiculous, pitiful & unprofessional!! Then to add insult to robbery, the owners disgusting wife waddles out about 20 minutes later while we were repairing my car and embarrasses herself by continuing to lie like a rug, harrass and annoy us. And just when we though it couldn't get any more bizarre, she produces a poorly altered, clearly faked KCPD incident report with writing that didn't line up or match the original report at all. She had obviously fraudulently doctored the report in an unsuccessful attempt to deceive, confuse & mislead us. And since I really hate liars and the lies they tell, I immediately ordered a certified copy of the original incident report taken by the KCPD to see if it matched and if the damage was noted on the original report and of course it wasn't, so I have a duty & responsibility to hold them accountable and will be notifying KCPD brass that GT Tow is intentionally, egregiously & fraudulently altering official KCPD incident reports to deceive and victimize their customers & avoid taking responsibility for damage and theft which they caused. read more

If evil exist in this world and you would like to see it first hand, then look no further than the owners of GT Towing. James and his assistant Debbie are heartless people. They have no grace or mercy for people that have no means or way of getting their wrecked vehicle out of their clutches. But make no mistake, they will make sure you do pay or they will have their lawyer call you and strong arm you until you do pay the excessive storage and towing fees (which are contrary to what they have posted in their lobby). These are not reputable people running a business. Its like you are dealing with the local mafia. Unfortunately this business will continue until something is done about it. Their reputation in the market place is shameful. What's most extraordinary is that they find themselves able to sleep at night. If you need a towing service, DO NOT CALL THESE PEOPLE! If your vehicle gets into an accident and the local police department has called GT Towing, let the officer know that you will pass and call another towing service or have someone call for you. reading these reviews that are saying they hold your hostage and the woman in the office is totally unprofessional is 1000% accurate. Most unprofessional bunch of people I have ever dealt with. if I knew the name of the older lady in the office, I would absolutely post it. I do know the owner was there when I was dealing with this lady and she never once intervened. Total bunch of clowns. my case is filed with Attorney General. read more
