Living out in the country we are limited to the services available out here but even though that is true I still did my homework on the few companies available to us. So gave them a call to set up new service. Customer service was awesome that day and very knowledgeable as to what exactly I was needing. The service tech that came out was unable to get the signal needed to have a successful connection so another appt was needed to be made. Well, that was a Friday so waited sometime on Monday to call them to schedule another appt with them since what I needed required two tech guys. I called spoke to someone and they informed me someone would call me back which they did in order to confirm the appt time and date. During that time and the scheduled appt date I reached out to them to add a landline. While speaking to the customer service it was informed to me that the appt date I was told was not scheduled. Who knows what happened there but the Customer service rep was quick to help me on solving the issue. He called me back as he said he would have that day and confirmed with me that the scheduled appt given to me was back on track. The day of the appt the service tech called PRIVATE and my cell isn't setup for those types of calls so I missed the call in the morning. Of course I was in total panic due to the fact I really need internet at my home to get the school work done for the kids and myself. It was before 8am so the office wasn't opened yet but their "online live chat" was available. The customer service rep who helped me then went ABOVE and BEYOND with helping me. He made sure to inform the tech that called me that I don't allow PRIVATE callers. Also when the tech was on his way the customer service rep who I had spoken too that morning called me to inform me about the GTA of the technicians. That was outstanding customer service by the customer rep! Once here the two techs were professional and worked smoothly to complete the job. Answered any and all the questions I had. GTEK was just installed at my home. Instantly I could tell it is the strongest internet connection I have ever had. Streaming 2 smart tv, 2 computers (one with music lab and gamming) and 2 iphones. Wow! I struggled with Spectrum, Grande then Huges over the last 3 years missing hours and hours of work because of connection issues, neighbors dog eating cables, neighbor with utility hub having everyone lock out and no access for repairs, ugh!!! Thankfully that has all ended with GTEK I have a straight line of sight to a nearby tower and have an extremely fast and strong connection finally. And guess what all for the same price of the other guys I hated so much!!!! Also, and Thank you to Skylar the Installer/ Tech they sent to do my installation he was so nice and professional. He did a great job on the install and set-up. I give him 5+ stars. OH, and also the Modem they provided is really high quality... It's a real upgrade from the ones previously furnished to me through Huges, Grande and Spectrum...HEY EVERYONE SWITCH NOW and Save yourself the heartaches you don't have to suffer anymore with the other guys YOU ACTUALLY DO HAVE A CHOICE!!! My office purchased a new phone system and we were not wired with the correct lines run to our office desks. I was referred by our office products supplier, Brian Stubbs, with Knight Office Solutions, to Gina at G-Tek. Gina sent Rolando out the same day I made the request. He came to troubleshoot the problem but our system was down and he was unable to complete the wiring. In the meantime, we found we had purchased the wrong equipment and needed to exchange it for Wi-Fi phones. I called Gina to cancel the ticket and she told me they would not charge me for Rolando's attempt to resolve the problem. This time I didn't need them after all; but I have put a gold star by G-Tek in my directory for future reference. THAT's my kind of service! read more

We could not be more pleased with Gtek. We were on HughesNet and they are horrible. We couldn't watch a simple 2-hour movie with the service dropping out 2 or 3 times. And that was with all other devices disconnected from their internet. Often times the "freeze ups" lasted 15-20 minutes, which was so very frustrating. From the moment we signed on to Gtek, it has worked like we were on fiber optics in a big city--ZERO problems! And we keep all of devices connected 24-7. Live in the outskirts of Beeville and have had the worse luck with Internet. Requested Gtek to assess our location and the were quick to call back and setup my appointment. They were great with a text reminder the day before, our great technician called the morning of ontime and letting me know he was on his way. Javier was friendly, worked hard and within 2 hours we were up and running with the promised speed. He walked me thru the customer portal and let us know we could reach out for any questions! They came quickly and installed new service for us even though they have been slammed with new installations. They were quick and efficient. The only negative thing I would say was you have to pay for the pole. Anything over 30 feet you have to pay for ours was 50 ft tall and was $200. Was not expecting that but we do have a lot of tall trees around us. Otherwise they were professional,informative about what they were doing,courteous and nice. Even when my kid was being crazy. Have used Gtek for many, many years! Rescued me from lousy local internet service. Always quickly responsive when I have questions or need help. Though we have more "choices" available now, I stick with Gtek because they've been good to me. When I kept having issues with the routers bought through Gtek, it was one of their technicians who recommended I go buy a "good" one at Walmart & then they walked me through activating it by phone. Tried to get Wi-Fi through a local service near my residence, but the technician told me that it was impossible because there were trees blocking the view of their tower. He recommended that I call Gtek to see if their tower was in a better location. The Gtek technician came to my residence and set up the Wi-Fi service with absolutely no problems whatsoever! I would give 5 stars, but I want to see how good the Wi-Fi service is after reading the other reviews. read more

Gtek has always had pretty good service in my area. At times the connection will go offline due to maintenance or maybe the tower being down which can get annoying but at least they call me once the issue is fixed. I have no real complaints with Gtek so I would recommend them to people who are in need of services. read more

Installation was complicated involving anchoring the dish on a 10 foot pole on the roof. The technician was very professional, worked hard in the heat and completed the project timely. I have been using Gtek for a couple years now, they provide service to some really rural areas, they have had a few growing pains as they have expanded greatly but I find the cost and quality of the service to be well worth the money, issues have been resolved in a timely manor. read more
