In those 6-1/2 years I can count service interruptions on less than one hand. Heck, they stayed on line during the 2021 "Snowmageddon." Yes, you have to buy your equipment to receive their microwave connection. They install it and Lonny (sp.) knows his stuff. Some folks will scoff at a wireless connection. When we moved into Woodcreek North, there were only one of two wireless ISPs around. Anvil was highly recommended by our neighbors. Since the installation in 2015, the cable guys moved into the neighborhood. Let's just say that my first paragraph describes why I stayed with Anvil even when cheaper alternatives with greater bandwidth arrived. It's called quality. Quality of the people there and quality of the installation and equipment they use.

They came out and evaluated the site and did the installation well. They use high-quality Ubiquity point to point wifi equipment to remotely distribute service. Your mileage will vary however based on a lot of factors. As someone in IT, point to point wifi can get sketch if the conditions/site isn't correct. The only downside is the price. They are pretty expensive for the bandwidth you get... but with low round-trip times, they are still head-over-heels better than satellite internet. I've only had a few minor outages since getting the service setup.

I've had nomad internet as my ISP for years. The Internet service itself is great. The customer…read moreservice was pretty good for awhile. I will make a complaint that they kept changing how to contact them. Like email, text and the chat bot was supper helpful but then one time they went straight Phone calls. Luckily they switched back to the others after awhile thankfully. But this year truly has me upset. I have been trying to pay my bill since April. I haven't been able to use the costumer portal for awhile now so I wasn't even able to login to my account to do anything. The links I had been given would say it doesn't exist anymore. So I tried their site, couldn't find anything but pay your bill. I was like here we go. It wasn't. I kept getting errors when I would click on pay my bill and enter my email. Would just get a error msg flash for a second then I'm back at the home page. So I started waiting for the bill email cause they always sent one since I've been with them. I never got one, BUT I did get a email that my account was over due and then they turned my Internet off because it said it was 4 days overdue. I was like WHAT? It had a link in it that didn't work just took me to some godaddy thing. But the pay my bill on their site was working "this" time. So I paid my bill but I had the wonderful late fee of $50 cause I wasn't able to access my account or pay my bill. I sent them a text and a email hoping to get this fixed. It took several hours for my Internet to get turned back on but there was no response to my inquiries. I sent the inquiries last month. I got a response this month....yes this month. They said oh it was charging a expired card u needed to update it. I told them everything about none of their links to the portal working and that I wasn't able to get to my account to look at it much less update "anything". And that their pay my bill on their site wasn't working untill after I got the over due email. Which is sketchy. I asked if it would be possible to get the late fee refunded cause I had been trying to pay my bill since April and wasn't able to because their stuff wasn't working. I've had a back and forth with this person Sam Fash and I got told basically they would have to see about the refund. But today I got another email from them saying there will not be a refund on the late fee for my account. So I'm here to post my experience

My phone wasn't working, I had a major event coming up, and corporate Verizon couldn't seem to find a fix. But these two? They worked together like a well-oiled machine--tag-teaming, communicating, and keeping the energy calm and professional the entire time. The store was spotless, the atmosphere was peaceful, and their personalities were just what I needed--patient, kind, and full of joy. They didn't just fix my phone in about 40 minutes--they helped settle my spirit. We even laughed about movies while waiting, and before I knew it, everything was working perfectly. It reminded me that sometimes God sends the right people at the right time to handle what's been stressing you out. Marcel and Aaron were that reminder today. If you're ever in New Braunfels and need help, this is the Verizon store to go to.

1 Star - Total Waste: Third-Party Verizon That's Useless for Anything But Sales…read moreDon't bother with this third-party Verizon at 1683 W State Highway 46, Ste 220 in New Braunfels unless you're dead set on buying a new phone--they're straight-up incapable of helping with returns, trade-ins, or any basic account stuff because they're not a real corporate store, just some independent reseller with zero access to the systems that matter. I tried returning a faulty accessory I bought there last week, and after a few minutes of excuses, they admitted, "We can't process that here; what phone upgrade are you interested in today?" It's infuriating how they hide behind the Verizon logo to lure you in, only to push sales and send you away empty-handed on everything else--stick to official locations or the app to avoid this headache. Verizon, ditch these partners before they ruin your whole brand.
