One day I received a text that my cleaner was in an accident and wouldn't arrive. I found out later that was a lie. She and her family were picked up by ICE and deported though they are not gang members nor criminals. They sent someone else who seemed completely untrained and ill prepared to clean my home. She used an abrasive pad on the stainless steel trim on my custom Elmira stove that permanently scratched the surface. This appliance matches my custom refrigerator, major features of my home. On top of that she did not have a vacuum cleaner. Instead of asking to use my vacuum cleaner she left with the floors still dirty. I hoped that my previous cleaner would return but instead they sent another subpar cleaner who arrived without a vacuum cleaner. I started thinking they are just hiring anyone off of the equivalent of Craigs list. Since then they have done nothing regarding the damage to my appliance. I have asked them 3 times to have their insurance company contact me and haven't heard anything though the damage happened in April.

My wife is recovering from a knee replacement and I'm dealing with 3 dogs (2 blowing their coats out) and our kiddo. Lisa showed up right on time and made such a huge difference for us. Our bathrooms and kitchen haven't been cleaner. A bird could fly through our shower door! I don't think I've ever seen our window ledges and blinds so white (and she did 17 of them). My personal thoughts here: we wanted to make sure we paid for a deep clean! If the cleaner also has to surface clean - it's going to take much longer because.... That's just how it works. I took about 4 hours the day prior pre-cleaning. For someone that doesn't know our home, I wouldn't expect those pre-cleaning pieces to be done. Edited: Another thought.
