The space was big and is nice for large groups. The service was okay. Took our order and filled our water once. The food was good nice portions. They have authentic and Chinese American food. The seafood fried rice, stir fry clams, and salt and pepper pork chop were a family favorite.

Receipt is included Just go to Peter Chang, it's the superior Chinese food spot Not enough meat but way too much vegetables for the items, their prices is too much for so little food They have soy sauce and chili oil in the middle of the table 4/5 - The Salt and Pepper Squid was good though and so were the Sesame Balls and Fish Filet with XO Sauce 3/5 - Shumai and Pan Fried Dumplings were okay 2/5 - The Xiao Long Bao's soup was also tasteless but had a decent amount of meat + Shrimp Dumpling and General Tso's Chicken were okay 1/5 - The House Fried Rice and Walnut Shrimp were tasteless + the Beef Short Ribs and Moo Goo Gai Pan were so-so

Once again, Sophia and I stopped here for lunch which was a year later. This was the 3rd time we've been here which should've been done way earlier. The previous two times ended up with satisfaction. Shall the 3rd stop be icing on the cake? We were seated immediately upon walking inside. It was almost half packed which was fine with us. Decor was nice all around, the staff were friendly and customers seemed happy too. You know we can't negate that type of vibe. After looking through the menu for several minutes, I decided on ordering chicken in soy sauce (half portion) with a side of white rice and Egg Drop soup which came with crispy wonton strips. Everything was delicious. It has been a while since I've had this type of soup so I couldn't pass it up. The chicken was cooked well with plenty of soy sauce marinating the meat. I took half of it home where it was plentiful. Definitely not a bad lunch for the both of us (Sophia had the salt and pepper squid which was my go-to for previous visits). Hopefully we'll be back here sooner than later. Till next time :)

Walking into Guangdong Taste, my friends and I didn't realize it was a family-style dining spot, but that became clear pretty quickly once we looked around the restaurant and saw everyone else's food. The portions are big and meant for sharing, which worked perfectly since there were five of us. The real surprise for me was the rotating tabletop. I had never experienced one before, and it honestly made sharing dishes both fun and super convenient. We ordered a plethora of dishes: BBQ pork buns, custard buns, Cantonese roast duck, Szechuan chicken, stir-fried Chinese broccoli, and eggplant with garlic sauce. Everything we tried was delicious, no misses across the table. That said, the eggplant with garlic sauce was the standout for me; it was rich, savory, perfectly sauced, and absolutely the dish I kept going back for. Service was a tad slow, but the restaurant was clearly busy, so I get it. Nothing that ruined the vibe, just something to be aware of if you're in a rush. All in all, this was an excellent family-style dining experience with generous portions and great food. I'd definitely dine here again and next time, I already know I'm ordering that eggplant with garlic sauce. *Insert eggplant emoji* lol

Great food and faster service. Large space that does family style with large portions. This was plenty to feed three people and still had some left over and be under $80 is great. We got the beef tendon noodle soup, sesame chicken, house lo main, pork buns, custard buns and shrimp dumplings. Everything tasted great and we all left happily stuffed.

We always go here for a Chinese food fixed, food tastes are very consistent and delicious. Very tasty and could match with NY Chinatown. The service today is not so good that is why it is 4 not 5 star, it could really be improved. I asked 3 servers for a water refill. I understand it is busy but probably additional staff on a holiday will help. I appreciate the guy who seated us on a big table just to seat us in order. The restaurant's restroom is clean in spite of being busy. Will always be one of my favorite in the area.

Noisy, lively atmosphere, with service. The dishes smell great but prices have definitely gone up! I ordered the Salt and Pepper Triple Delight (shrimp, squid, and scallops), Mongolian beef,

Small little cute space. It is set up with mostly round tables to be able to have the family style experience. Everything you order is a very large quantity because it is meant to share. There is a circular table on top to be able to move the dishes around easily. There were 6 of us so it was a bit pricey but there was plenty of food to take home for another meal or two. Everything came out hot and tasty. My only recommendation would be to have a menu where you could order an individual meal if you did not want to share. The bathrooms were clean. They do have a full bar for cocktails. Noise level is a bit above average. It is wheelchair accessible but could be difficult to move around.

Honestly... the options for Chinese food in vb suck lol but this one has definitely satisfied my taste buds. It is defintely a little pricier than most but you get alot of food. You can easily eat there and take home for the next day. The service is what it is. I wouldn't categorize it as horrible, they're just working fast. They've got to go orders to do plus the restaurant gets busy plus the language barrier plus some customers attitude do get crazy. So I can understand. But the food is honestly really good, I've only had one dish that wasn't the best, it was a seafood something, I cant remember. And their fried rice is brown, which is what it should be, NOT YELLOW!

This was my first time at GuangDong. We went early in the day, so seating was plentiful. I was very eager to try the soup dumplings and my husband was eager to try the duck. We ordered the duck on the mixed platter and it was tasty along with the pork. My main entree was pan fried noodles with chicken and it had such a great flavor. The servings were also plentiful so we all shared dishes. At the table, we also had Sea bass and peppercorn squid. The squid was very good. It came to the table late, so we took most of it home. It lost its crunch, but not its flavor. Now let's talk soup dumplings. I read several other Yelp reviews to get a concerns us and I saw a lot of positive vibes. Overall, they had good qualities when they arrived to the table. They looked delicious, they were hot, and I could tell there was soup and a filler inside. I was a little disappointed at the amount of soup and the flavor. They were ok dumplings. 3.5 STARS! I would definitely visit again and I really enjoyed their food flavor. However, I am still on the hunt for the best soup dumplings in the 757!

The food was the most authentic Chinese cuisine I have had in the 757 area we went to celebrate my birthday back in 2023 and had made a reservation for 30 and it did not disappoint. If anything, most of the guest still bring up the experience / restaurant to this day because it was that memorable

Not required. They're busy but they have a lot of space!

Do you need to order the whole Peking duck in advance? Curious if I need to call the restaurant before arriving.

Is Dim Sum available all week or just weekends?

You can order dimsum anytime. It's available as long as they're open & not sold out of dimsum.

I've only been to the Chesapeake location, and I love their food, so this was my first time trying the food at the VB location. I was quickly greeted as soon as I walked in and was seated right away. I loved the clean and modern decor of the restaurant. My server was super friendly and brought over the menu. I knew I wanted the Wonton in Hot Chili Oil but I also wanted to try the Dan-Dan Noodles here, because I wasn't a fan of them at the other location, so I ordered both of those along with Salt & Peppered Prawns. The food was served fairly quickly. I started with the Wontons but there was something in the chili oil that made my mouth extremely tingly and numb. I normally get a slight tingly feeling when I eat them but this was intense. I couldn't even finish it. The Dan-Dan Noodles were incredible though! They had the perfect amount of flavor and spice. The Salt & Peppered Prawns were good, but I probably won't order them again. The flavors were great but the seasoning is only on the shells. I found myself rubbing the de-shelled shrimp on the seasoned shells to give them some flavor. I did attempt to eat them with the shells on but I wasn't a fan. You really can't go wrong at Judy's! The staff were incredible and the food is good!!! I still prefer the Chesapeake location but I'm glad I was able to stop in and try the food out at this location as well.

The honey roasted duck was tasty with a savory thick sauce to dip. We got white rice with our dishes. My husband asked for chopsticks, and there were none which was surprising. The fortune cookie at the end was stale, and my fortune was kind of a hilarious demand to be vegetarian/vegan. The service was decent. Well, I had an incredible lunch experience at Wang Jiang Lou that made my day! It all began with the warm welcome, followed by incredible service table side and even as I left the team made me feel good (More later!). Whoever designed this restaurant knows something about creating an escape from the world experience. The paneling, table settings, lighting, and every inch of the dining area allowed me to take a deep breath escaping from a hectic hot and humid Virginia Beach weekday hustle! The $16 lunch is a bargain! Offering several impressive entrees plus soup. I am extremely particular about Hot and Sour soup and this bowl was delicious with a subtly of flavors and a pleasant silky texture. I consumed every last drop and returned a clean bowl! I chose Yu Xiang Pork as my entree, which my waitress said was one of the top two favorites along with the pork belly. She said she would give the Yu Xiang Pork the edge. She was right because I loved this dish! I like heat and this offered heat. I like varied texture and this had a range of textures. I want flavor that makes you eat everything served and this delicious lunch offering succeeded. For the price I was so impressed with the variety of mushrooms!! The cherry on top for this visit (No, I didn't get an ice cream sundae.) was the warm thank you's PLURAL that I received from the people up front as I left. Their smiles were beaming at me and they genuinely made me feel like they were happy I came in for a $16 lunch. I said with a wink that I was going to the kitchen to see if they would provide the same smiles of thanks and was told that they would (No, I didn't go to find out.). Clearly a great team serving delicious food in an awesome setting made me wish I lived in Virginia Beach but then I stepped outside into the heat, humidity and hectic world that this FIVE STAR restaurant named Wang Jiang Lou made me forget about for an hour.
