Do not hire This company even though they so called guarantee a beautiful thicker weed free lawn you can be proud of they do not stand behind their name. My lawn is full of crabgrass because they missed the early spring time frame for the application against crabgrass. This is my first review ever and PLEASE DONT USE THEIR SERVICES. Their mowing work is horrible and most of all they have the worst customer service. They left all grass clippings all over our landscaping that our brown mulch was covered with grass. When we asked them to clean them up, they sent a mower back with a blower which wasn't any help, in fact now our mulch was on our lawn. When we asked them to compensate our ruined landscaping, they said they would send out an inspector but they never came. I called them countless times during the last two months but they only said they are trying to have someone come out and do an inspection but they never came. I have pre-paid for my 5 applications in advance and after the first application two weeks ago I am noticing both Dandilions and Crabgrass growing. I emailed about this and got no response. 2 days after the email with no response I called and explained to the person on the phone that I have dandilions and crabgrass growing. She stated that I am due for another appoitment in the next few weeks. I asked her so I should just leave the weeds as they are and she said yes because the next application will kill them. I find this very terrible customer service. I paid not to have weeds growing my yard and she says just leave them. I guess sending someone back out to correct their mistake is not a priority. ***Update*** They called me back and apologized for the very general timeframe of when they will be back out. They refuse to guarantee their work. We've historically had to have them out several times in between services for weed control over the past three years. This year, they refused to come out altogether. Our yard looks terrible and their support staff is rude. read more

Pretty funny, we didn't even make it to the quoting stage of the sale. My wife called to ask about services and when the woman on the phone decided my wife was not an expert in lawn care, she became the reining Queen Bitch of Condescension!!! Alright!!! Way to run a small business!!! You need to hire a sales consultant to work with your people on inbound service inquiries. If you speak with people who are calling you interested in services, I cant imagine how successful your outbound sales are. You're the lawn care experts, not us!!! And you should be excited about a population of brown thumbs. They keep your businesses alive, or at least on life support. read more

They aeriated my neighbors yard, in the process of doing that hooked our newly installed fence and proceeded to attempt to drive off. This being a chain-link fence, they managed to pull the loop out 3-4 inches, destroying the chain-link pattern and removing some of the coating on the fence, increasing the risk of internal corrosion. I watched them hook it and attempt to drive off, then come back to survey the damage and attempt to hide the damage, which is not possible as they pulled the chains out and torn part of the fence in the process. They evidently notified no one, including my neighbors. Based on the other reviews, I expect this one will need to go to court to recover damages. read more

I am upset to report a downturn in the service offered by this company. We had used them for a few years, and were always satisfied with the service and response time. This year, they have billed us twice for services we didn't receive and left burn marks in multiple locations on out yard. We have asked multiple times for someone to come look at the damage, and for the charges for services not received to be removed. We have asked via calls to them, calls from Guaranteed Turf trying to collect from us, and written notice detailing the problem. After almost three months of this, not only has there been no attempt by the company to correct the issues, but they have sent us to collections. Previously I had recommended this service, but I now have to recommend that you try someone else. read more

Very disappointed. I signed up for fall and spring cleanup, as well as regular fertilizing. They did a good job treating the yard, and did cleanups last fall and this spring. However, I never received notification that now it is necessary to have lawn mowing service in order to get fall and spring cleanups. The woman at the desk was apologetic but this was a major reason why I hired them so I asked to drop their services. Not a good experience! read more

We have been customers of Guaranteed Turf Care for many years, but have found that they do not always follow through on promises and when called about it, refuse to accommodate in any way. We called to request the usual fall cleanup service a month ago, but were told today that they had changed their policy and no longer could do that for us. To find that out so late in the season after being told they would do it means I will have to do it myself. The person we talked to refused to help this one time even after being told that we were promised the service. We are done with Guaranteed Turf Care and will find a new service for next year. read more

This company was hired to complete weekly lawn mowing and edge trimming. I had just refreshed all of my mulch and rock and they let all of the clippings blow onto both. The mess is horrible. Prices rose over $100 for fall cleanup from last year! No more trees to loose their leaves either! No explanation that would justify this bill. The office response was that there were more leaves. I have used Guaranteed Turf Care for the last 3 years for fertilizing care. The service tech did not do the yard completely. We would call the office to have them come back out but never returned. They have very poor customer service DO NOT use this company. NOt sure why they call themselves Guaranteed Turf Care, there is no guarantee or customer service. read more

I have used them on and off over a few years. I will never use them again. They ran over a small tree once and left my gate open on more than one occasion. The first time I fired them I'd scheduled fall clean-up work. They scheduled it but never showed up to do the work. When I contacted them they said they'd get back to me as to when they could get it done, pending weather at that point - and they just never did, and then it snowed and it was too late to make other arrangements. A couple of years later I tried them again. They tried to charge me over $500 for fall clean-up - and the largest tree in my yard hadn't even dropped its leaves. They claimed they had 3 people on my property for 3.5 hours each - ridiculous - there is just no way. I told them so and paid what I thought was fair. They never responded and consider the balance an unresolved debt to them. Their main customer service person is rude also. Look elsewhere. read more
