If I could give 6 stars I would!!! This is our third time using Guardian and I can honestly say they have never disappointed us! I called at 630 am yesterday to see about someone coming out to look at a growing puddle of water next to our main line that bumped up against the house. SheEr terror as to what it could be! The dispatcher was so pleasant and asked immediately if it was an emergency. I said not right now but I needed someone today. She was so professional, kind and helpful. Scheduled me for 1-3 pm that day. They texted me a confirmation and even let me know when they were about 20 minutes out. Joshua Clarke came and started digging. I started praying!!!!! After he got about a foot deep he informed me that they need to let me know that now was the time that I would start getting charged (they give you a free quote each time before service is started) due to the complex nature and additional digging involved to diagnose the problem. I said go ahead. Well let me tell you, it was 3 pm in blazing heat but he didn't stop. After digging OVER 3 ft deep he found it. I was never so happy to hear the words "it's not a slab leak"! Our main line had cracked and a slow leak had built up over time. Joshua was diligent, thorough and even mindful of my plants that were in the planter area where he was working! After fixing it he filled everything back up and even hosed my wall and sidewalk off. BETTER THAN NEW! The price was so reasonable I almost cried. He left hot, exhausted and covered in mud from head to toe but so glad he could help us! I truly mean that. HE was glad he could help US. Thank you Guardian Plumbers and Joshua. We reached out to Guardian for a fix on our dishwasher that needed to be installed before selling our house. They were quick to come out BUT where I have the problem is this. We needed one thing done and he gave me a price of over 250, when I handed the phone to my husband he was no way that job is worth that and he lowered it to 199. Have used this service in the past and was very satisfied. Prompt and fair pricing. However, last month, I had two sinks I had purchased to be installed. I called GP to give me an estimate. The tech came out and I was stunned by the estimate. The quote was equivalent to paying them $100/hr. for two days of work. They wanted over $237 to replace two valve stops. This was such a simple job that my 20 yr. old daughter and I completed it in 4 hours and we replaced all four valve stops for under $100. Today I discovered I needed a new water heater. Three years ago, a Guardian tech replaced our water heater. He was polite, efficient, and clean. Only one problem: it was the wrong water heater. It was for LP, but we are on propane. It functioned well without our realizing there was an issue until another unrelated problem arose with our propane. When they started to reignite our water heater they noticed it was the wrong one. I couldn't find my old receipt, but did find the charge on my credit card statement. I called Guardian and they willing and readily sent out a technician. Tech was friendly, and honest. That's the positive. They refused to quote me over the phone, except for the $60 +/- show up fee. The tech knew within 3 minutes what the charge was, and it was standard. It was at least $125 more than every other plumber or GC out there. $300 to replace a faucet? 45 minutes worth of work? The young man I spoke with was very courteous, but they couldn't get to my house until the next day. We were having problems with our water heater. We called guardian plumbers, because they had a good review in Yelp. The tech came out to give us an estimate for a new water heater. It was replaced that afternoon. We have a pump that pumps the hot water through the house, so we have hot water around 30 to 40 seconds. We took a shower that evening and it took about three minutes to get hot water. I call them up to tell them what was a going on. They sent out a tech to check out the problem, he said your pump could of been run dry when the water heater was installed. They had someone from the company come out in the evening to replace a part to the pump, now we're get hot water in about 30 to 40 seconds. I happy to find a company that stands by there work. I would give them six to seven stars, but you can only give them five. I would differently recommend guardian plumbing to anyone that needs a honest plumber. read more

Because of the Yelp positive reviews I chose Guardian to fix a leak in my kitchen garbage disposal I made a appt for 8:00 to 10:00 am the next day. By 9:30 I received no contact so I call the office was told he was running late. He got there closer to 11:00. I was told that that he had all of the parts required with him to fix the problem. It turns out he did not have a new disposal so I waited another 40 mins while he went to get one. He replaced the disposal and tested it with the dishwasher on and left after paying $425 for the service. I left to go to the store and when I came back the disposal was leaking. I called and was told the plumber could not come back till 7;30 that night and that they had no one else to send. He came back that night and was very insistent that the cause of the leak had nothing to do with his installation and was caused by a bad washer in the dishwasher overflow outlet. Which he could not fix. The next day I had my son in law look at it and he found that the plumber had failed to remove the plug on the disposal when there is a dishwasher present. I was told this is plumbing 101. So not only did the plumber not recognize his own mistake he never fixed the problem. I have called the office to complain but there is no answer. I will continue to try and call to get a adjustment to my bill from Dillon the plumber from Guardian. Steve Guyer read more
