Upside: the product looks great. Downside: Once Scott gets you booked he doesn't bother to return phone calls. The last week has been so incredibly stressful dealing with this company. We gave our business to Guardian because of Scott, the rep for Northern California. We had other companies out, and they were all a little less expensive, but Scott assured us that he would take care of everything, and make sure it was perfect before asking for payment. Laughable now, sadly. The installer, Jeff, And his wife have gone above and beyond to install this Fence, even coming out on the weekend to get it done. However the owner, Scott, apparently did not order the right parts AND didn't bother to let us know that half was backordered despite knowing that we were under a very tight time crunch. He also told me he would be down on day 1 of install to go over everything with the installer....I have not seen him since he gave me a quote. Look, I get that, things slip through the crack. HOWEVER after I made over a TWENTY phone calls over the last 5 days with no answer on either Scotts cell or office number, and at least a dozen voicemails, I finally contacted corporate. Today, I literally left messages on both numbers every hour today from 8am until noon. When I called corporate and spoke with the owner of Guardian Corporation and told him that I was ready to take the entire fence out, drop it in my driveway, and get another company to come do it. Magically the owner of Guardian had NO problem reaching Scott and Scott called me less then ten minutes later AND Scott acted like he had no idea there was a problem. He was quite rude. All I needed was a timeframe so we could get inspection and plaster. I left very clear messages asking him to call me back and letting him know why I was calling. If he had simply called me back to let me know what the status was we would have been fine. And-to top if off-the Scott drove parts for another job to my house for the installer, but did NOT bother to knock on my door to apologize, or even make sure the install was going ok, or collect payment for the fence. He left the installer to do that. Serious lack of customer service. I would NOT give this company my business again. I guess at this point all we can do is hope we do not need any warranty work. When we first looked into different fence options, they were higher than some others that we looked it. I was skeptical, but a few other families assured me that the product was worth it and that the company was great. Now I get it... Scott (owner) and Corey (installer) went so above and beyond for us on the job. There was a mix up about where we wanted the fence (totally my fault), and they came out a put another 5 hours of work to relocate it (and additional fencing) for us for almost no extra cost. Had my fence installed in March 2017. The product may be pretty good, but the installers are terrible. They left after installing without cutting one of the posts as they said they would do. Called the manager and he said he'd send them back out to fix it. They came back out and it looks like they tried to cut it with a hacksaw without taking down the fence. The cut is extremely jagged and ugly, with a lot of bare aluminum showing. Called the manager back and he said he's send them out again to repair it, but they never showed. Don't use this company if you want it done right. read more

Ok, so a week or so after the review they did send someone to come out and finish the job. We do now have a complete fence, although it is still a little sad that it took so long. There are still parts that sag, so it isn't quite what the pictures on the brochure look like. Some posts had to be set in the dirt, which he said would be reinforced with concrete. Fine, but the installers made a puny little disc of concrete that wobbles every time the fence door opens - not very confidence inspiring. The product seems ok, but the installers just aren't very good, and unfortunately the owner / seller just doesn't seem interested in checking on the work once it is done to make sure it is done well. read more

We purchased our gate 3 years ago and it is still in perfect condition. We have had them tighten it and do a few other minor items and he has been awesome. 3 years later we needed it re-installed and they came out immediately and did a great job again.
