Gaurdian Restoration has been working with me and family for over year now and even after the complete rebuilt of our home, they continue to be available for questions and assistance. The owners were professional and responsiveness with answering any questions or concerns I had. They were always in communication with my family with the construction of the home. There was some special accommodations of what we needed to ensure that disabled members of my family were safe, and they were able to ensure that our needs were met within the budget that the insurance reimburse. Gaurdian also went above their duties and assisted with the communication with the insurance companies and paperwork needed for them. The adjuster that we signed with was incompetent and did not complete the duties of a public adjuster and Gaurdian was more than competent and willing to also step into this role to ensure that we were taken care of. I also want to mention that my sister and her family lived next door and had smoke damage. Gaurdian assisted them in getting their clothing washed and home cleaned and smoke free. Unprofessional business practices! I recently discovered that that Tom Whitaker, whom self-identified as the vice president of the company, entered my rental property without proper permission, which is completely unacceptable. Moreover, he also contacted another individual via phone and text at 1:00am who was not authorized to receive any information about the situation and sent them pictures as well. This breach of privacy and professionalism is deeply concerning. In the text messages Tom said there was a "stove fire," "smoke spindles on the walls" and that "smoke made its way into the air conditioning vents." However, the pictures he sent showed cobwebs on the wall and dusty vents, NOT SMOKE DAMAGE. When I went to inspect the property myself there was absolutely NO damage. There was no "small fire" at all. Turns out the fire department was called out of caution due to smoke from an oven, not an actual fire. Had Tom reached me via phone early that morning he would have created a false hysteria for his own business gain. This is completely inappropriate and bad business practice. Under no circumstance would I want to do business with a company that operates in this manner. read more

My neighbor's garage had a fire in May 2019. Guardian had a rep come by after the firemen left. They were good at removing wet drywall in my garage to prevent mold. A few days later they "cleaned" my house. It was not worth anything near what they charged me. My kitchen got dirty from soot and smoke damage as it was directly above my neighbor's garage. Guardian insisted on taking almost all of my clothes to get cleaned. It took several weeks to get my clothes back and they kept telling me I had gotten some of it back when I didn't. They also sent someone to spray the house except for the kitchen with this cherry smelling liquid. I have not lived in my house for almost two months. The house still has an odor mostly from the cherry smelling liquid. It took over a month and a half to get my check from the insurance company from which a few thousand dollars were deducted for Guardian's "services". read more

Today 7-15-21, this company came to clean my house after a fire that happened a couple of doors away. I am so happy with the job that these women did, I feel like I hit the lottery. My house is cleaner than it's ever been, " and I'm usually a clean freak". I cannot express this feeling enough. i am a true victim of this unprofessional company called guardian restoration ans every day i stll pray to god that one day they will pay for their negligence and unprofessionalism in how they handle mt properties. i had a fire in my kitchen may 2019 and guardian restoration men came along with fire trucks. though the police office warnef me and called them vultures which i did not heed to. jason and his men talked sweet and i fell for it. they tear up my solid wood floor which was not affected by the fire so yhey could get more money. they damage my kids bathroom wall paper and floor by forgetting to close the sun roof. all their unprofessionalism dawn on me and came to my senses. i google the company and now saw that the owner is a fraud, liar and unprofessional. i saw a review about a lady with missing clothes and how are clothes were taken to cheap dry cleaners and jason claiming fortune from the insurance. i told hom not to do my laundry he bargain by claiming to give me $3000 for all my laundry. i insisted no for an answer and from that answer i gave him he was not happy and he became rude whenever i called him. please please dont be a victim like me, cos if i had listen to the police officer that called them vultures i would not have been in this situation. they left my uncompleted damaged furniture out in the lawn. my furnitures were brought squeezed ip in small truck compare to the uhaul they used when they took them at the beginning to the storage to clean. my furnitures were outside in the rain for a week. they refuse to assemble which they were paid for by the insurance company. jadon and the sister are fraud stay away from guardian restoration please. read more

I live in Northeast Philadelphia as well as Chicago and I'm a real estate owner I own several properties here In Philadelphia and about a dozen properties in New York as well as Chicago. I had two fires in separate properties in the past year in my Philadelphia properties. I unfortunately hired Guardian Restoration to assist in the restoration process I dealt with Jason who claims to be the owner. First off Jason was a very uncouth man, he came nice at first but after I signed the contract he was very arrogant and turned out to be a liar. Very unprofessional, he was arguing with other people on the scene. I was under the impression that he was installing these "machines" that supposedly clean the smoke out and he told me that they get billed directly to the Insurance company. I was familiar cause the same thing happen with my first fire but all went well with that fire . Well when it was all said and done yes I was billed for the machines plus all the extra hidden cleaning expenses that was a large sum of money. So all the money I was expecting to get to the fix the property Guardian basically stole from me. I am very upset please nobody use this company. I used another restoration company for the other fire I'm upset I didn't call them in for this job. Definitely DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY THEY ARE LIARS AND SNEAKS . I recommend SERVE PRO.
