Kinda don't want to leave this review... And then everyone will want to go...but Amazing amazing staff!!! Every staff member we spoke with at the range was eager and willing to stop and hold conversations with us; from gunsmithing to classes the guys there knew their stuff and took the time to talk to us about it. The facility is the best one I've been to in the Philadelphia area! The store is modern and have a very wide selection of firearms & accessories. They have so many different options for rentals it's wild! The range it's self is very clean and modern. Digital stalls were nice and easy to use, let's you set the exact yardage you want to place your targets. Despite being a pretty good drive, about 40-50min for me, I actually think I'll be getting a membership and start taking classes there. They really give a welcoming feeling unlike a few other places I've been. P.S. All the staff was amazing but huge shout out to the guy with the "green" beard! Went to this "range" a few weeks ago to fire my 357. Was a gold member with no issues. Upon my arrival I checked in and requested 38 ammo to which the counter guy said they were out. I inquired about 357 ammo with the same response. I said thank you and walked out. A few days ago I called to reserve a lane and I was told there was a red flag on my account. I was further advised to e mail them regarding this. I did this and had no response. After 5 days I called and inquired and got a song and dance about the decision on red flags are made off site. Minutes later I received an e mail stating I was banned for a "safety violation". This is a nice range but the business model and ownership have no clue. After a 5 year military and 40 year career in law enforcement I advise one and all to take your business elsewhere. read more

We just got back from our first visit and stopped for lunch on our way home. We couldn't stop talking about how professional everybody was and how much we understood and appreciated the "no exceptions" rules. In a business such as this, I think we can all appreciate why there needs to be strict rules in place. As a professional in customer service myself, I appreciate being made aware of the policies when I walk in the door. We worked today with Chris Kona Coffee and he was awesome. He said I caused a safety violation and never said what it was than made up a story on google after I gave him a review saying I looked down the barrel of my gun, and it was on video. than gave me a bullshit link that didn't work. First off, this freaking place is huge. Plenty of on site parking. Always a plus. This is not your typical shooting range. They have facilities for combatives training/martial arts, a similations booth where you digitally shoot at threats and targets on the screen, a traditional slow fire range, and another range for rapid fire shooting. Then they have a shoot house for air soft CQB/building clearing. There's probably even more training facilities I haven't mentioned. Also, they have a tactical range for shooting on the move and around barricades/barriers etc. Let me say they probably want you to subscribe to their ULTRA PLATINUM membership in order to access most of these high speed facilities. So call and ask before just taking my word that they'll let you use it. Lol I didn't even know this place existed until I signed up for a Battle Line Tactical two day Active shooter's (CQB) course by Kris "Tanto" Paronto. RLTW! Which was hosted by GTC. Anyways, their show room has many tactical gear for sale and rent. Any and everything you can think of. Carrier vests, plate carriers, plates, holsters, you name it. read more

For some reason, I've been banned from here. First time I've ever been banned from anywhere. Didn't even know I was banned until month since the last time I was there. Went with one of my brothers to purchase ammo (near $800 (worth) and rent a lane. Had really nice conversation with several of the attendance while being run up. Went to pay and they told me that I'm banned... No notes. No reason. Was told I could email them and that I had to leave immediately. Emailed to ask. No response. Several weeks later, I wrote a receive on google and got a response that had a YouTube video of someone being punched in the nuts along with a not saying "I know why the banned me" Contrary to "owners" immature and unprofessional reply, no, I don't know why. How would I know if no one even told me. As expressed earlier, I only found out I was banned when I was "checking" out. I guess whatever they banned me for was worth more than having a paying customer. *** update *** After posting my review, I got an email from them threatening to involve law enforcement. Toxic employees is how I would title this but, went today with two of my buddies and one of the employees flew off the handle at me for just having birdshot in my guncase during check in. Which I had no intention to actually use. I apologized and proceeded to take it out to give to them. I was then insulted on my military status of, "if you were a ranger you would have read that it's not allowed." After that I was done and snapped back. The guy then banned me from the range, and I was escorted out like a committed a crime. Ridiculous, easily said I do not recommend. Fantastic facility. Great staff and best variety of weapons in the region. Had a weapons malfunction today with my AR15. The staff member (Blue) was able to fix the jam and brought my weapon back to me all cleaned and lubricated. Wouldn't think of charging me...said he loved fixing weapons. What a great place. This is my fourth time visiting this location guardian training center that is. Breaking in new Taurus 9mm just put in clip 10 rounds gun shooting a little high had the target far back was making adjustment when informed by the gun checker in the range room was told my time was up, up I just got here. At that time he said that he could not tell me any more other then my time was up and that the manager would talk to me out side so. Got out side upset only been shooting for 10 min when told to leave range area. while out side waiting to talk to someone had me and my friend waiting for at least 30 min, after watching them walk around me whispering in each others ear finally they informed me that i damaged there equipment the carriage I believe that's the unit that moves the target back and forth i did not see any spark or had any notion of hitting that unit. Now mind you that shooting down range you may hit something other then the target. Had no problem owning that but what I had a problem with was the disrespect coming from the manager and the whole staff for that matter me and my friend was made to look like fools before the whole store why I do not know then had to pay for a viewing of the shot they say I made and pay the full price with out completing the full time we paid for. Please STAY A WAY FROM THIS PLACE VERY UNSTABLE . read more

Easy to get on the range after the initial paperwork was completed (our 1st visit there), though for a Saturday they were really under staffed -- 2 hour wait. Lots of people waiting around to shoot or buy, and one couple left because they were tired of waiting. Staff was cool and accommodating. I'll be back for sure, but on a week day. read more

Put my money where my mouth is and bought a gold membership. Live this place. It's a little crazy in this crazy time but I love seeing all the new gun owners even if some are kinda scary. They do the best they can to get everybody in and serviced. I think they need to upgrade to their computer system, it seems to be the slowest part of the operation. The people at the counter are trying to get and keep things moving but the computer seems to slow them down. I know they're frustrated with everything going on between the wuflu and the availability of guns and ammo for their inventory but they do try their best and I thank them for that. read more

Went here awhile ago, maybe 2 years ago, after hearing good things from people. Got there it was a 30-45 min wait. Not a problem. Spend something like 200 bucks in new ear pro and some gear. Finally got into a lane and shit a mag out of my pistol, then switched to my suppressed SBR. The RSO quickly came over and asked to see a copy of my tax stamps (which I only had digitally, as I told him). That wasn't satisfactory and was kicked off the line. As I walked towards the counter I asked to speak to another person, and management came up to me. As I began to explain that I didn't have a physical copy he didn't let me finish and told me I had to exit the facility. I didn't even have the opportunity to provide my digital copy of the tax stamp. I only hope this place does better in the future and doesn't continue to be boot lickers, because I have told many, many people if they intend to exercise their constitutional rights to do it elsewhere. read more

A serious 5 star shooting experience. I have always gone to Clayton's, but have now switched my range biz here. First, brand new facilities. State of the art range lanes and shoot rooms. Strong a/c. Music while you shoot (they even ask for your fav type. What really makes this place unique is the customer service/instruction. At other ranges, they are almost gruff (actually mean at one local range). These guys constantly offer assistance with your gun or their own. That's the other thing. They have about 250 rental guns from handguns to long guns and shotguns. When you rent, you buy their ammo. If you bring your own gun, you just pay range rental. Bring your own ammo and targets if you wish ( I do buy their targets). I find that I actually shoot more now because I prefer the experience. Their automated range targets are programmable with multiple shooting scenarios. We found some cool ways to compete against each other. They have a great lounge area to chat after shooting. Also have great selection of guns, ammo and other items for purchase. read more

I would blindfoldedly recommend this place to others. But, before I go on, keep in mind that I visited Guardian Training Center using a Groupon that someone in my group had previously purchased. First and foremost, the staff is awesome! All three of the associates we dealt with were nothing short of great. They were super friendly and knew what they were talking about. Jerry, our instructor, was very knowledgeable and helpful. He really made me feel safe throughout the process. Unlike other places I've been to, this facility was very large and clean. You can tell the place is new (we were informed they just opened in January!). Since we used a Groupon, I can't comment much on pricing but from what I noticed it seems things probably do add up quickly. Eye and ear protection was around $2, targets were a $1/piece, and there were additional charges for time spent over an hour. I would highly recommend checking out the Groupon as it includes all of these things for 4 people. read more

If you are into a bunch of arrogant, roid raged wanna be rent a cops, go hang here. I'm all for owning my mistakes but when they make one, it's still your fault. I was there with my family, 5 total. I took my daughter in first to get her comfortable shooting since it was her first time. I had rented 2 lanes and they could not accommodate lanes next to each other. So I had lane 3 &5. After I got her going I brought my son and her boyfriend back and was asked to leave when I moved two guns from one lane to setup in the other lane, both guns were moved in holsters and unloaded. I was told I had to leave because they needed to be in a bag. Now go look at the sign hung on their front door stating all guns must be "holstered" or in proper bag. I didn't even use the second lane, just walked up and placed my two holstered guns on table and was told to leave. I spoke to the manager and his response was you wouldn't like if I pointed a gun at you? At that moment I realized the brotherhood affect and there was no reason to continue the conversation. I was still charged for the lane I did not use. It's a real shame for it is a nice facility. Just don't expect any level of customer service if you go. Also reading all these reviews, I'm sure I'm now banned and can't wait to see the owners arrogance come out with a response. read more

Guardian Training Center was the range I would always go to until now. The way I was treated today by one of the employees inside the range was ignorant and uncalled for. He walked up to me and accused me of deliberately doing something that was completely false. I do applaud the other two employees at the register that were very polite but I will no longer go to or recommend Guardian again. read more

They checked my ammo and being in the military I did not know I had unmarked tracers in my mags and accidentally shot one and instantly called a cease fire and they banned me for life. Thank god Their all knowing complex employees know what a tracer looks like. read more

Guardian Training Center canceled our first appointment because of some emergency family issues, and refused to provide service upon my continuous attempts to reschedule. They took all my and my friends information and Groupon numbers upon my first visit to the center. Dismissive and not willing to work out a solution. read more

My party of 4 visited this range last weekend. The location is tucked away a bit in a business complex but it offers plenty of parking. Inside the building, the reception area is divided into two separate areas 1. Purchasing and 2. Renting. You can purchase weapons, ammo, protective gear, vests and clothing. Immediately upon entering, we were greeted by staff and given waivers to review and sign. Shortly thereafter we were given a rundown of the rental process and safety guidelines. We were all handed ear and eye protection which you will want/need to wear both because bullets will be flying and those suckers are HOT! After getting your safety gear you are escorted to one of several rooms to begin your session. Each room has roughly 8 individual booths for shooting. My group was able to share a single booth, however only one person was allowed in the booth at once. This was not an issue because the booth was open to the rest of the room so we were still able to interact with each other. The booths are separated by bullet proof glass and have a small counter to hold the bullets, guns and etc. There is also an electronic control for adjusting the target holder which gives you access to lighting and the distance of the target. We were able to find a Groupon deal for this place and with the voucher all 4 off us were able to shoot for several rounds for around $12 per person. We also purchased an additional box of ammo for $12. It was a good way to spend a couple of hours. read more

Was my first time there the other day was greeted at the door with a smile by a young lady with purple hair her and the rest of the staff were very helpful! Was even asked how my day was going which made the experience that much better. 10/10 would recommend coming here. The only thing I didn't like is how some of the staff members talk to each other. Seems to me like they belittle people, just didn't seem like they had much respect for one another Store otherwise was nice and clean, the paperwork wasn't to horrible to fill out. Definitely need more people smiling. Sorry for posting this, but please treat your staff better. The language was unprofessional. Also eating in front of customers seemed kind of odd. Excellent range. Reasonable prices, especially if you get the yelp 12 for 30 deal they have going right now. 1 hour of range time, 3 boxes of 5.56. And 4 targets cost 52 dollars before the 30 dollar discount which is really an 18 dollar discount because you paid 12 dollars for it. The RSOs are professional and pleasant. Unlike a lot of ranges RSOs who tend to be overzealous. It was a pleasant shooting experience. The ranges have automated controls and have preset shooting packages and you can customize your own package if there's something specific you want to do, easy to learn. read more

I attended the 2nd installment of force on force training at the Guardian Training Center on Saturday. Reid lead the group on some intense training for the 5 hour class. It's pretty humbling to see what an actual attack could look like and how we would handle it. Reid led us through a series of close encounter knife attacks. The first part of the course was...can you draw your gun from concealment if the atack was within 14 feet? We did several scenarios of moving to the side and then dropping and rolling onto your back and holding the attacker at bay with your feet and legs while drawing and firing your gun. The second part of the course...after the realization that it was almost impossible in a close encounter to always draw your gun and shoot...was instructions on fighting the knife attacker long enough to avoid being stabbed and long enough to draw your gun and shoot. Did I say...this course was humbling? The instructors are respectful of your limitations in this training. I had suffered a hip accident a few weeks ago and was not able to do the running and some of the intense encounters...but there was still plenty for me to learn and practice. This training is what sets this range apart from other ranges. If you haven't attended one of their many training courses...the shoot house...the simulator...or their nightly tactical training...you are not learning to protect yourself and love ones. read more

Was looking for a shooting range and found Guardian. I read a lot of the reviews and was a little apprehensive to take my son with me. We went to the center for the first time today and had a blast. Their store is amazing and have everything you would need for home/self-defense and a little extra to bring out the military/LE inside of you. The staff were really cool. Everyone of them asked if we needed any help as we walked through the store and looked at the weapons. The shooting bays were clean, well lit, and equipment worked flawlessly. They are big on safety, as they should...it's a freaking shooting range!!! Do dumb things expect correction. If I could transfer my membership from my current range to Guardian, it would be a no brainer. We'll definitely be back. From a fellow Vet. read more

I want to give this place 5 stars just because of the range. The people running this place is more deserving of 1 though. I attended this range last year with a friend that was new to shooting. While in the lane the person I was with turned around with one of the firearms still in his hands. BIG NO NO. The firearm was unloaded (no magazine, and slide locked), but understandably the RSO ended our time there. There wasn't a big exchange of words between the RSO and us because he was right. The RSO also said "you won't be banned but I'm just going to end your time today." When we exited the range and walked back to the counter. The person behind the register looked my in my face and said "Why were you being an asshole to my RSO?" So I explained that I wasn't the one that committed the infraction. Also I was equally upset at them. The guy at the register seemed like he was being pretty harsh, because I'd had already dealt with the RSO in a calm matter. I hate to pull the race card, but that guys face looked like he was disgusted to even talk to me. So we walked out of the place vexed. The next time I tried to use the range, I brought a group of 7 with me and I was told I couldn't shoot. I've written a total of 10 emails to guardian explaining this situation and never even got a reply. So last week I called the range about 3 times in 5 days to see why I wasn't getting a reply to me emails. Every time they said that's not our department to handle that. I finally talked to someone that seemed to actually care and I got an email back. It read "Due to inappropriate and unacceptable behavior, The Board has determined that you are no longer permitted on Guardian Training center property. In addition, you are to cease any further contact with Guardian Training Center staff as it will be considered harassment and will result in imitate legal action. If you have any difficulties understanding our legal rights in this matter please feel free to contact a local law enforcement agency and they will explain the law to you.
