Had an appointment this morning for 9 am. I was called by this rude receptionist exactly at 9 am…read morethat couldn't even pronounce my name correctly and when I corrected her caught a huge attitude. I explained I was two blocks away and the majority of the time I come exactly at 9 the doors have not even open yet. She proceeded to have an attitude and slammed the phone down on me. I arrived at the doctor's office at 9:03 am. Tanisha asked if okay and I said no that the person who just called me was rude and not even an apology or acknowledgment of the situation was addressed. The receptionist proceeded to tell me she wasn't rude and then rolled her eyes. My family and I have been with this establishment for years even before Dr. FINELY decided to open the adult side. The receptionist on this side needs more training on phone etiquette and customer service. It is currently 9:18 and I still have not been called.

Their sign says to "sign in and have a seat and they'll call you if additional information is needed". At first I waited for the woman to pick up the chart as she would have saw that I checked off the box for new patient. She didn't acknowledge me standing there, didn't ask what I was waiting for, nothing!! To "respect" their sign, I sat down. The woman picked up the sign in sheet 26 minutes later, 4 minutes before my daughter's appointment time, this is when I was handed new patient forms and was told that she'd call the insurance to verify coverage. After ANOTHER 30 minutes passed, I asked the woman about how long it would be before my daughter was called as I had to go back to work. I reminded her of the appointment time my daughter had versus the time it was, she said 1 person was before her and she didn't know how long AND "there was nothing she could do". My daughter didn't get seen until a whole hour AFTER her appointment time. What's the point of having an appointment if you're not going to see patients at their scheduled times? A doctor knows approximately how long a procedure should take and thus should know how many slots and slot times they allow for a certain amount of people or type of visit. They need to work on scheduling and hospitality. I could see if we were late but we were more than on time. Most offices tell you to come in 15 minutes before the scheduled time - we were there 30 minutes prior.

The only downside is, I felt my general annual teeth cleaning was done very quick by the general doctor or whom ever the lady that came after. This was not the standard I expected. I have gotten my teeth cleaned in other locations and my experience with my cleaning has been VERY different. Just in general from all the teeth cleaning services I have had throughout the years, this has been my least favorite experience. Don't feel like much was done, a bit aggressive through the process. I am suppose to be coming in to get some work done on some cavities but I am unsure If I am going to anymore, and perhaps consider another practice for this.

Most recently I broke a tooth and completely freaked out. He calmed me down over the phone and told me to come in the next day so he can fix it. He not only took care of me by creating a new tooth and covering it with a crown, but explained to me that some other dentists will use a lower quality solution when really you need to have a long term lasting solution. And while he was working on me he noticed I had a canker sore. When he told me that using a laser will effectively heal the sore I didn't believe him. Sure enough, after a couple of days the pain and sore were gone. Incredible! Thank you Dr. Levy over and over again. You really know how to take care of me and all of your patients. Every time I come into the office, people in the the waiting room as well as people just finishing up are always smiling and friendly. Makes sense when you are such a great dentist.

Bottom line, if you want to make an appointment with this office, call them and speak with someone.
