The dentist will show her true colors if she doesn't get the reviews she wants. She will call and start harassing you. Demanding you tell her what new dentist you are going to. Which by the way is none of her concern. She will threaten you with law suits. Which is very unprofessional. She had the audacity to do this to my mother that has heart issues. It's very sad to see how low a person will go. It's very disappointing. If she didn't like the review she could have handled the situation differently. The solution to not getting a bad review is to be a Professional and do your job correctly and be attentive. I believe many times people feel that they can get away with these things because they think are above the law. Which is not the case. Her and her staff have a lot of improving to do. I would not with a good conscious recommend any of my friends and family to come to this establishment. I definitely will never come back here and I regret telling my mom about this place. read more

I had to come here and share the amazing experience that my mother had with Dr. Nishita Gandhi. I have to start by saying that my mom is completely terrified by dentist. 10 years ago she was diagnosed with a benign tumor in her lower jaw bone and she had to get parts of her bone and almost all of her teeth removed. After fighting a big battle with the Insurance company it was determined that they were not able to cover to implants, this happened in 2011. Implants are really expensive and at the time we could not afford them. My mom gave her hopes up and didn't follow through with the process, until last year when she met Dr. Gandhi. First of all I have to say that the welcoming atmosphere is just perfect there the entire staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Katherine is a life saver she took care of my mom like she was her own mother. Forever grateful to her. Now Dr. Gandhi is just amazing my mom explained what happened to her and she just took care of everything after that. She called the hospital where my mom had surgery look for all the details and presented the perfect plan that worked best for my mother. The work that Dr. Gandhi did is completely 100% amazing. It's beautiful. The implants look so so natural I haven't seen anything like that before. My mom got her confidence back and now is not shy to show her beautiful smile. The place was filthy I saw four people In total when I was sitting in the chair. The dentist assistance was pretty nice very professional the dentist herself seem OK then the person that came in describing what I needed started naming prices for things my insurance covered. So when I brought that up to her attention and she said actually let me find out .... came back and said ok yes bu for some of it.. I felt like I was about to get ripped off. I would not recommend this place. Oh and by the way the person to cleanse my teeth gave me a facial meaning water all over my face. Smh read more

My best experience with a dentist. I was in pain for the last 12 hours, I called and went to different dentist offices and no one would take walk ins. I was ready to go to the hospital of the pain I was feeling. I googled emergency dentist and got Dr. Nishita's info. I called and got to speak to Jennifer. I explained my situation and she was kind enough to take me and made me an appointment for an hour later. They took my insurance without a problem. I had my upper and lower wisdom teeth removed and it was PAINLESS AND IM CHICKEN FOR THIS KIND OF PAIN. She was very gentle and straight to the point. When I went to this Office it was just for cleaning, But When I met Dr. Gandhi in person and saw how passionate she was about her work I knew from then on she was going to be my Dentist from here on out! First off the Staff was so helpful from breaking down the payments to working with me on my scheduling being that i have such a busy work schedule. everyone was so nice and sincere and knew what they were talking about when it came down to the procedures i was getting done. 06/28/2019 on this day I visited this office early in the morning. The staff was all over the place. I arrived early at 9:45 to register and handle the paper. It's 10:30 and I'm still waiting. I could hear the staff talking about the dentist not being in the office. I was very disappointed. First impression was very unprofessional. I highly recommend Dr Gandhi for dental care. She did an excellent job on my teeth/second phase creating a nice smile after my Invisalign treatment. I felt at ease while in her chair/under her care. She gave me very good advice and had me come back until we got my dental work to my liking. She worked with me in terms of the cost of the dental procedure, which was very reasonable. Went to this dentist. The doctor was great and one of the girls Sheila to, However one of the girls in the front is so rude and appears bored and annoy when you call or speak to her. My dentist insurance change and the new policy offer to pay for work I was already having. When I call and asked to be transfer to speak to Sheila Jennifer would leave me on hold and never return to call. The insurance called them and they never return the call. Its sad because Dr. Gandhi is great. Im a senior and and didn't deserve this kind of disrespect. First time she was rude I let it go and myself apologize if i was disrespectful when in reality I wasn't. My sister had passed away I got a little annoy she was being so rude while I was speaking to her so I asked her why she was alway so rude. My experience with Dr. Gandhi was phenomenon. Her gentle care, superb skill, warm bedside manner and years of experience put you at ease...so much so you don't even realize you're at the dentist! She explains all the procedures very patiently and takes her time treating each patient as if she's the only one. The office is meticulous and efficient, wait time is under five minutes and support staff is kind, helpful and considerate. If I could give them 6 stars, it wouldn't be overstating the case.By far the best in the Bronx...she deserves the award she received. Last year, I had a very bad personal experience w/ my prior dentist, whose name I shall not mention here. After failed crown work, and $1000 deductible co- pay, you could only imagine my frustration, fear and worry. I went to Dr. Gandhi after reading a lot of positive reviews. Dr. Gandhi made me feel very comfortable. Although this was my first visit with her, I had pre-existing problems, for which I was extremely nervous about. She listened to my concerns, which is very important to me. She took time to understand my fears, and concerns and took a detailed medical history ( I have not met a Dentist so far who ask about your history in that much detail and listens). I was worried about pain, which was not the case at all, and she made sure I was comfortable through out the time of my visit. She is very gentle. So, here are the pros: 1. Ease of appointment: 5 stars. 2. Office staff courteous, knowledgable, quick, and friendly: 5 stars. 3. Cleanliness of the office: 5 stars. 4. Cleanliness and hygiene during dental work: 5 stars 5. Office ambience and environment: quiet - yes, comforting - yes. 5 stars. 6. Accepts most insurance - yes. 5 stars. 7. Office hours: convenient - yes. 5 stars. 8. Fleibility of Dr. Gandhi's availability and emergency patient intake: yes. 5 stars. 9. Doctor and staff LISTENS (most important criteria for me): yes. 5 stars. 10. Dentist knowledgeable, reliable / would I trust her judgment, and care / guidance: yes. 5 stars. 11. Would I recommend this Dentist to my friends and family?: yes. 5 stars. I certainly would. 12. Sales / Marketing pressure for dental related stuff (from my past experience at other dentist's office, that was their main focus is what I felt like, so this again was a big criteria for me). NO!!. Not until I asked for something for my teeth cosmetic changes. She mentioned guidance but did not pressurize me into buying any products!! In fact, she gave me resources to get similar stuff at a much afforable rate w/o insurance covering it. I generally don't write reviews, but I wanted to.
