My niece attends this school in the 4-year-old classroom. The incident was reported to the director, but the only action taken appears to have been filing a report and moving her to another classroom. At four years old, my niece is fully capable of communicating what happened to her, and the physical marks supported her statement. Despite this, the teacher is still employed at the school. We were also informed that the cameras are only monitored live and do not record footage, which raises serious concerns regarding accountability and student safety. As a parent or family member, this situation is extremely disturbing. I would not recommend this daycare based on how this matter was handled. I believe incidents involving allegations of physical harm toward a child should be taken far more seriously and investigated thoroughly. I intend to follow up with the appropriate state agencies to request a formal inspection and review of this facility. No child should ever feel unsafe in a learning environment, and no teacher accused of inappropriate physical conduct should remain in the classroom without a proper investigation.

From the very first day, the staff made my children feel welcomed, safe, and cared for. They treat the kids like family, and it shows in how happy and excited my little ones are to go every morning. The teachers are patient, loving, and truly dedicated to helping the kids learn and grow. I've noticed so much progress in my children's social skills, confidence, and learning since they started here. The communication with parents is excellent, and I always feel reassured knowing my kids are in great hands. The director is short, cold, and problematic with parents and teachers. One of our teachers quit midway through the year supposedly due to a conflict with the director. She is also accusatory and doesn't seem to mesh well in a children's environment. Our kids were so much happier when we switched and it showed how lacking this school truly was! My child started at age 4 at Frisco Trails montessori in 2023 (then called Frisco Trails…read moremontessori, then briefly changed to LIttle Leaders, now renamed to Visionary Montessori Academy at Teel), and is to start Kindergarten this year in Frisco ISD. We moved to Frisco from NY. We went through 2 daycares in NY before we started here. We checked out several montessoris before we signed up for Frisco Trails. There are fancier, more expensive options in Frisco. I wanted my daughter to be in a comfortable, safe environment that's also down-to-earth and not a five-star hotel. We were very happy overall with the montessori. There was some teacher turnover, but not a lot. They dont have too many more closed days than the federal holidays. Teachers paid individual attention to the kids. They have parent-teacher meetings few times a year to update parents on the child's strengths and areas of improvement. There would be time for study but also play, frequent fun activities. My kids bring home amazing crafts. Every week the toddles have a new learning theme, like continents, plants, oceans. They email us every weekend about a summary of the last week, and teaching lined up for the next week. My daughter has learned to read and write fairly well before she goes to KG. They don't have a fancy app to message parents, but in my past experience, updating apps takes up teachers' time and concentration away from their main focus on children. Emails have worked just fine. The teachers and administration are easy-going and generally accommodating. I put my younger kid here as well. She had frequent viral infections her 6 months or so, after that its been pretty smooth. This past winter was not bad at all.

Not ONCE was I asked if I wanted a flat surface to do my work on, instead, I used my lap. Not ONCE was I checked on, with a simple, "how are things going, is there a way to make things easier for you to transition," OR "I know this is a lot right now, but you're doing a GREAT JOB."As a Christian Preschool, there is a BIG disconnect between the two. I was also "expected" to know where things were. I was NEVER formally introduced in depth to the building or to the second person in charge which gave me an attitude and the person training to EXPECT to know where it was when we had trash full of dirty diapers (did they just expect us to stink up the classroom? ), for instance, the janitor. I was NOT properly trained. There were criteria but how can you do it in the RIGHT state of mind when you have to get to know OTHER kids? There's a reason why teachers quit. I've been in child care and behavior therapy for children with Autism and this is the worst experience I've ever had. She pretty much told me "childcare isn't for everyone," no, you don't treat your employees unfairly in childcare. Through a grapevine parents from the church wouldn't ENROLL THEIR KIDS THERE. PROS: - The staff was nice - Children were sweet CONS: - Management 100% - UNSAFE playground entry gate (broken) in a second someone can walk in or the kiddo can walk out - Late lunches - Communication between manager and staff is horrible - Disgusting toilets - Unfair ratio requirements - * YOU DON'T leave the time agreed upon (seems like for the most part) - No medical, vision, dental, no maternity leave - Minimum wage if resign without 2 weeks THINK ABOUT IT FIRST! Stay away I would say. It's stressful, so is the pay worth it? Honestly, no.

My son requests to go for summer camp as he enjoys the field trips and the different learning that they have weekly. The staff doesnt have a high retention there are teachers who have been there since he began and know him. The school did change directors within the last two years besides different policies the quality of the school hasnt changed. I would recommend if you are in the Frisco area.
