First and foremost, I don't believe in one star reviews, I think I've only given one if any. This was not a pleasant experience. The only reason I refrain from a one star review is there was no malice by the staff or error in delivery of the food we ordered. We only saw our server twice, to take our drink order and our food order. I ordered the fried pickles as an appetizer, and they were incredibly greasy and served lukewarm. No checking in on our food or refills on our drinks. I got the mushroom Swiss burger, and it was delivered Luker, but cooked too an accurate medium. The mushrooms taste like they were out of a can or jar. I would not come here again. If I'm ranking burger places, this is near the bottom. Most of our food was delivered cold, and after at least 45 minutes of waiting. I do hate to give negative reviews but this place is just awful with their food quality and presentation. The vibe in the restaurant is quite good, it's a good touristy atmosphere. But I think they need more staffing to deliver a quality product. The food was decent. Awful service tho. I ordered a chicken sandwich. The server did nothing but take my order a robot done the rest. I waited 45 minutes on my check and when I asked about my check I was told my server wasn't there she was on her break. First of all who goes on break while they still have a table. Honestly they earn their overall rating. While the inside of this place looks amazing and what you'd expect from something in the Destin Commons and my service was good enough, everything else falls extremely flat. The burger was really small in comparison to the advertisement, it was ordered medium and came out a hockey puck, the crab smelled and tasted fishy which is a sign it is either close to bad or it's is far from fresh, the butter tasted like milk had soured, they were out of mint for mojitos as if there isn't grocery stores nearby they could easily rectify this with, some of my crab was still cold. The fries are cooked in old grease and honestly as cool as the robots are they really are in the way in a place with a small floor plan. The staff doesn't seem to know how to work their handheld systems, and if they do we had the displeasure of having the one server who didn't know how to use the device. We wanted to slightly modify our burger order but didn't want to risk it as it took quite a few minutes to just enter in the burger itself. The server also rang up a random shake for our table that no one asked for and reassured us that it would be taken off. Well I would hope so? I also didn't enjoy that when it was time for us to pay out she only set up the one payment and left us to figure out how to work their device ourselves and finish paying. This place is a very cool and nice environment to sit down and just eat some food. If youre in the mood for some burgers then this place is definitely a spot to get one, but let me tell you about this place. When I went, there wasnt much waiters/waitresses working, it started at 2 and then eventually one other person started working, we ordered the loaded tots to start us out, that in my opinion was the best thing i ate today, but it took about 30 minutes for the appetizers to come out. Shortly after the food eventually came out, I got the Florida Burger with fries, now the burger was ok. It didnt have too much flavor and they overloaded the burger with spinach to say the least. The fries I thought were pretty good though. After we ate we decided to get there Category 5 Shakes. I got the peanut butter shake and it was great! They come in jars that you get to keep and theres a good amount inside of the jar. Also all the food is carried out by robots, I thought that was pretty cool. The most bland burger, ever. We went here after a movie. I got the Alabama with mac and cheese. It was so tasteless to me that I drenched it in ketchup and mustard. My SIL took out her bacon because she doesn't like bacon on her meals, and even adding that to my burger barely made a dent. I eventually added salt and pepper, which I never do, and then I could taste some salt. I didn't want to be the Debbie Downer so I didn't say anything, until my SIL made a comment about adding a lot of ketchup because she also thought it was bland. She then added salt later on as well. The salt grinder was almost empty and I made the joke that everybody else probably felt the same, hence it's almost empty. She got the Florida burger. Also, apparently her eggs were too overdone, so she scraped them off. Our server, Kelsey, never checked in on us or gave us a refill (water), even forgot to bring our water out until the next table ordered their food and drinks, the food was ok, not terrible, possibly just personal preference. We and the table next to us waited a long time before getting the check and we only got it because we went and found the servers and asked. Another server, on the other hand, Sophia, went out of her way to make sure each of the 3 tables seated with 2 people each were taken care of which made up for our lack thereof. They have a gluten free burger bun which is actually decent, not hard or dry. We actually really enjoyed the food, it was delicious and seasoned well so I considered giving it a 4 star.. however, the lack of service we received and the fact that we had to wait a while on a robot to bring us our food just isn't my cup of tea. The young women employed here do little besides lean on the hostess stand. Order was incorrect and they just wanted to take everything off and return it. I could have done that if that's how I wanted the burger. The burger has an odd flavor as well but that just may be the way they season it. Waitress never returned for drink refills or to ask how everything was. If you want to be ignored and have food come out on a robot that the employees may show up to deliver have at it. Service was awful! They implemented the use of robot delivery systems which serve no purpose other than novelty and block your way around the restaurant because they are so bulky. After you place your order the waiter stands around while the robot fishes for your food. This takes FOREVER. It's pointless. The food was awful and frozen and tasteless. We only had dessert here so can't comment on the burgers. Their signature desserts are ginormous milk shakes (not cheap) served in fancy glasses with fancy toppings. The family ordered a bunch of different kinds and they were all good, though so big they were almost a meal to themselves.
