I felt like a kid in a candy store being a gun enthusiast from the severely restricted north east. Everyone we interacted with was extremely pleasant and helpful. The guys watching and caring for the range even gave us tips and pointers on how to shoot when they had a moment. They made sure we knew what you were doing before allowing us to shoot/handle their firearms unsupervised. The whole place is nicely air conditioned (well, it IS FL) and very modern. You are allowed to swap rentals whenever you want, as many times as you want. Meaning, the pistol you initially rented in 9mm can be swapped for another pistol in a different caliber (if desired) at no additional cost... you only have to buy the ammo (from them, of course; common practice) that's needed for said firearm. Obviously, the same can be done with long arm rentals. I will most definitely be visiting again with the whole gang next time I am in the area.

So I get upstairs and lo and behold, no one is there. Push the button for help. After three pushes, I decided to call them and ask for service upstairs. Oh, you are upstairs? We will send someone up. Someone had a lame excuse about how busy they were. Too busy to take my half a grand for membership? They are, to my knowledge, the closest range to me where I don't have to drive for a half hour. But Mikes refuses to transfer it. I think they lost it or one of their employees took it and have it mounted on their weapon. I owe them no money. Offered to pay for the transfer/mailing.
