I needed to get my engagement ring and my wedding band soldered together, and I did not want to take them to some big box place that was going to ship them off to God knows where for a month, so I was looking for a local jeweler to do it. He had the project done the next day, so I was without my wedding rings for a very minimal time. Because of the type of stone that I have in my ring, it has to be soldered together with a laser, and I also have a very unique, vintage setting with a custom shaped wedding band that would be extremely obvious if it was misaligned even a tiny bit. The rings are put together so well, it is absolutely seamless! Both rings are aligned perfectly, you cannot even tell that they are soldered together, except the fact that they are very firmly and securely one piece.
