As far as Fairfield Inn's go, this one is about the same as the majority of them. The lobby was…read moreupdated and clean. The breakfast area was good sized. Our room was dated and the carpet had several large stains - almost bad enough that I didn't want to walk around barefooted. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was clean and the shower had good water pressure, however there was a lot of calcium buildup in the showerhead as the stream was kinda all over the place. The breakfast was as expected, however the attendant was very friendly and efficient. This hotel is definitely a good value for the price.

Very disappointed on our stay. I booked this place because it was by Marriott and I figured it…read morewould be nice. To start, driving up to the parking lot, I was confused, I thought I was driving up to an abandon building. The landscaping was inexistent, grass was tall and overgrown, the outside of the building's walls were full of mildew and rust, there was a rusty broken light pole laying in the parking lot, then I saw where it came from and there were exposed wires hanging out. I tried to look past it and figured it would get better. Well upon checking in I was charged $20 per day for a total of $40 for incidentals on top of the amount due. Nowhere on the website did it state this. I can understand maybe $10 a day but $20. Then when we got into our room, it smelled musty, there was hairs on the bed, the comforter had like a blood stain on it, lightbulb missing from one of the lamps, the room just didn't feel clean. For my kids sake, I didn't say anything. That evening we went to the pool for a while, that was another health hazard. Pool looked like it hadn't been cleaned for a while, the chair used to help disabled people in the pool was broken with exposed circuits on the controls, some sort of pipe sticking out of the ground with wires hanging out of it by the pool, the picnic area was trashy and weeds growing everywhere. When we tried to go back inside, our card key did not work to get back in either of the two doors. We had to knock and get the desk clerks attention to let us in. Then he tells us, oh yes the doors do not work. So that was day one, on the second day we went for the hot breakfast which was mediocre at best. Coffee was cold, juices were warm, food was meh. When returning to our room our key did not work to get back in. I had to go twice to the desk to get the keys reactivated. Last but not least, the ice machines on the first floor are not working, the stair wells and hallways are very dirty. Now for the icing on the cake, at check out I was charged another $40 instead of giving me my original $40 I was charged for incidentals.

The beds were unmade and the room was completely dirty. Dirt all over the floors, stains all over the sheets, toilet had poop on the seat. I went to the front desk and asked if they could clean it and was told "house keeping only comes in the morning". I went back to my room and went to turn ac on because the room was hotter then summer time and the ac was broken. I went back to the front desk and demanded a refund my two night stay and was denied due to their cancellation policy. She said I would've had to cancel my stay on Expedia 24hrs before the night of the reservation. The two nights I stayed they never had continental breakfast, not even coffee. I paid $319 for the two nights for a $41 a night hotel. They definitely used spring break as an advantage. The management is horrible, they have done nothing to fix the situation. They don't want to own up to their nasty hotel!

Everything worked..tv, lights. Very nice refrigerator. Upper part is a freezer separate from the refrigerator part. Everyday room service came through. I would have given it 5 stars but it was nosey at times. The walls are very thin so if you are a light sleeper beware. Other than that it was a good experience

The staff is excellent, warm inviting and friendly and they take good care of the hotel as evidenced by the hospitality, cleanliness and value that you receive when you stay here. They are continually updating the rooms and are very comfortable. I find the mattresses and pillows of a fine quality. The rooms are clean and comfortable with very good air conditioning and heating that's not too noisy to sleep peacefully. Plenty of space to unpack and enough room to sit comfortably. They provide a workout room and a nice pool. Their free breakfast consists of good tasting coffee, orange and other fruit juices, cereal, toast (white and wheat), danishes, make your own waffles, eggs, bacon and sausages, yogurt bagels with butter cream cheese and strawberry and grape jelly. Checking out is easy, last stay i overheard a customer praising the front desk manager for providing a wonderful experience and value! I will always stay here in future trips to the area!

After a dreadful stay with a different chain in Winnie, TX, it was a breath of fresh air to return…read moreto this BW motel. This time we were able to get a first floor king room. While not in perfect condition, the room was thoughtfully designed with flat surfaces and hooks where needed. It was nice to have a woodgrain floor and no carpet. There was also a futon for extra seating but it was not comfortable. The bed was comfortable, but the sheets had some areas with rough texture. The tub/shower was clean. The tub was slick. There was adequate water pressure and plenty of hot water. Prior to arrival, I was able to do most parts of checking in online. On arrival I only had to show an ID and agree to pay damages if I smoked or made a mess, and to specify whether or not we wanted housekeeping visits and what we wanted them to do. We opted out. Breakfast was surprisingly very good on the first morning, a Tuesday. Weekday hours were limited to 7-9 am, 10 am on weekends. There was lots of variety in hot foods, juices, and yogurt. There was a pancake-wrapped sausage on a stick, 2 varieties of eggs, some very good bacon, tortillas and grated cheese for those wanting breakfast tacos, and other goodies. There were 2 waffle machines and 2 batter flavors. The attendant was very friendly and helpful. I watched her retrieve bottled water for some people and bus others' tables. This was not the usual motel "free breakfast" experience, but something much better. The second morning was not as good. As one example, the pancake-wrapped sausages weren't fully heated, there were no tortillas, and the attendant didn't seem so into her job. The breakfast room is extremely cramped, but there are overflow spaces in the hallway and outdoors. This motel was a good value for us and better than a previous experience at this location. Maybe it's because we became platinum rewards members on this trip, but we can't be sure.

That could easily be 4-8 rooms depending where we all stay. I have never been treated like I was treated this summer.. June 2026. I have a special needs son who wet the bed. You wouldn't think that was a big deal because there is incontinence bedding in place for that kind of accident. Ohhh but it was.. Upon checkout I walked down to the front desk to inform them I had rolled the soiled linens up for them due to my son's accident and they informed me in a nasty tone that they would charge me a upcharge for that.. That is exactly what they did. $40 dollars to be exact. My disabled son has night time incontinence. He cant control that.. I won't ever return to this location that treats people with disabilities this nasty..

We even had family start staying there with is WHICH WON'T HAPPEN AGAIN. 2 years ago we came and left a spurs jersey, We called & they had it. told us we had to pick up within 30 days. We drove out there on a weekend bc you know almost everyone works during the week. For us to get there and MARISSA WHOEVER THE READ/ORANGE HEAD) they couldn't give it to us bc it was locked in a room, I asked if there was someone she could call, we were 4 hours away verse whoever had that key to the room where it was supposably locked. ended up having to make another trip to get the jersey. Last year when we stayed the A/C in our room was out, luckily they had another room to put us in. we had to move all our luggage. THIS YEAR, we booked our stay in MAY , for June 26th-28th, We ended up adding an extra night beginning of June, we got to the hotel around 9pm on the 26th for MARISSA to tell us our room was cancelled bc they tried to run the card the night before and she said they called us which was A LIE. They have never charged our card before we checked in. My husband told her we drove 4 hours and have kids in the car and she said "that's unfortunate" he proceeded to get upset and they said they were calling the cops for trespassing. when we got back home we reached out out to IHG and they told us the room was cancelled and they never tried running the card so everything MARISSA said was a LIE! SHE NEEDS TO BE FIRED AT THIS POINT, HER AND HER BOYFRIEND BRIAN WHO WORKS THERE ALSO.
