Last week after re-booting my computer I got the dreaded "Blue Screen of death' and try as I may, I couldn't get rid of it. I called around to a few shops but their prices were outrages. Then I called Gulfport Computer Repair and spoke with Matria. She told me to bring it right down. I did and I left it with her. This was Wednesday afternoon. Thursday afternoon, one day later, it was ready. This computer is a Dell XPS and I've had it since 2012. Not only did she get rid of the Blue Screen, but the computer is running faster and better like it was brand new. The price for the repair was far below the other quotes I received and more than worth it. The Customer service was Outstanding and friendly. My computer broke around 9 am. By 10:30 I had dropped it off for a free diagnostic check. Metria called me really quickly to let me know what she would need to do to fix it. She was transparent about everything, including price. By the afternoon on the same day I had my laptop back and working perfectly. She even cleaned up some of my expired software that was slowing my computer down, which I didn't even ask for. My computer seems to be working even better than before. I like that Gulfport Computer Repair is an individually owned shop and that Metria is very knowledgeable and does excellent work. This is my go to person for all my computer issues. I originally took my computer to Metria Jones because she said she would give a discount because I gave her an old laptop back when the 19 started. I turned in a Toshiba laptop to her, for future credit to get my current laptop cleaned up. I have had my computer in and out 4 times now and nothing was fixed. I originally went in to have it cleaned up. The computer was dirtier when I got it back than when I dropped it off. It also ran slower than it did before I took it in. She stated I needed a new hard drive I agreed BUT she cloned the hard drive instead of transferring data, and and cloned all the problems from the old hard drive to the new one and it keeps getting sicker and is now useless. SHE NEVER GAVE ME THE DISCOUNT EITHER. the Laptop is still there and I am still waiting the first date of service was June 4th or there about...THIS IS JUST NOT RIGHT read more

I used to work for major computer companies. I wish I could have gotten the kind of fast turnaround and accurate, friendly IT support that Metria delivers. She throws her best estimate around the parameters of the problem whether it is a crashed disk drive that needs to be recovered or a collision between different software release levels or a nasty virus that breached my walls..
