Do I need to bring the firearm to store , if I sell my firearm to my friend?

Private party transfers are conducted inside our store. Transfer fee is $50 and background check $25. Receiver of firearm must hold Nevada state issued ID.

How long do ur the background checks take?

Depends on how busy the government is and how fast each shop transmits the form. Personally I have found 1-3 days from both lock and load (not recommended) to Bass Pro shops (highly recommended). The longest was two days and the shortest was next…

It's modern, bright and clean…read more Now for the negatives: I took a CCW class at Green Valley Range (at this point I just want to state for the record, that over the years, I have taken many firearm courses at various gun ranges in NV, AZ, and Utah. All of the instructors I previously had at these classes were great and very qualified). The Green Valley Range instructor I had (his first name was Lou), immediately came across as incredibly arrogant and condescending. First, instead of starting the class with a brief couple of minutes intro about himself (which all my previous instructors had done), he practically spent the whole day talking about himself...he just went on and on, about how knowledgeable and great he was...this guy is way too much in love with himself. The other problem was, that about mid way through the class, Green Valley Range sent a sales person in to try and sell CCW liability insurance. Green Valley Range obviously were taking advantage of a captive audience, in a state required CCW class, to sell their other products. This is at the very least unethical, and may be illegal (and if it's not illegal, it should be). The bottom line is, I did not like the attitude or business practices of Green Valley Range, so I would not go back to them for classes, or anything else.

We entered the store and did not receive a "Welcome in" or any type of greeting you would normally receive when entering a store as a paying customer. As we approached the counter we were met with an employee that was extremely dismissive and unprofessional. His attitude was relentlessly negative, and his behavior was clearly designed to obstruct the transaction rather than assist. As I began to fill out the background form, he took it upon himself to look up my address and it was determined that the address on my Driver's license would not satisfy the residential requirement on the background form, which I can easily have fixed with the DMV, however, he stopped the transaction and was extremely rude about it and was not helpful in explaining the process. When he was questioned about certain "store policies" he was making up during our conversation, he was unable to provide an answer, he was unhelpful and also refused to provide his or his superiors names when asked as well, we were told "we don't give out names here". We left the store with the intention to return the following day with the address correction documentation. The very next morning I received a call from the original dealer that Precision Armory was sending my merchandise back to them and the employee had made false allegations that we were attempting to make a straw transaction which has now damaged my reputation with the original dealer. There was absolutely no other explanation for this employee's behavior, other than he is racist and couldn't contain his disdain and hate for an African American man, it was evident all over his communication, expressions and demeanor, he couldn't hide it. Additionally, there are several other reviews from other customers citing similar discriminatory experiences with this store. I have made multiple attempts for the manager or owner to contact me directly, including a BBB complaint that has went ignored. I would not recommend this store, unless you support discrimination, racism and wickedness. There's so many other stores that will not treat their customers this way.

I've had a great experience with Gun Shop Las Vegas, and I highly recommend them, especially if you're new to firearms. Nick was incredibly helpful when I was getting my first firearm. He was always friendly, approachable, and genuinely great to talk to about guns. He never made me feel rushed or pressured, and he was always willing to answer my questions. On top of that, I felt like I got a very fair price on everything I purchased. Bruce also went above and beyond when I got my second firearm. He literally spent an hour or two with me helping me set everything up, walking me through the firearm, and educating me along the way. I really appreciated how patient and knowledgeable he was. He didn't just help me put it together--he took the time to make sure I understood what I was doing. Nick and Bruce are a big reason I'll continue coming back to Gun shop Las Vegas. I saw the advertisement in backpage that a new gun shop had just opened off of St.Rose and Eastern so I went down to check it out... I was greeted by the owner as well as the friendly staff behind the counter. The store was immaculate and clean. They have a great selection of guns, rifles and accessories and really take the time to work with you. Also new people like my daughter, I took her in to look for a new gun and they fit her with the perfect one for her as well as several other purchases we've made on several trips back since. This is definitely our go to gun shop for our family.!! They also offer other services too like hydro graphics, cerakote, custom work, training, gun safety, CCW and a whole lot more.!! When I have a choice, I prefer to use small locally owned businesses. This shop is about as small as gun stores get, but they offer outstanding service most shops are lacking. Prices aren't always the best, but usually very comparable to other local shops. I've sent them plenty of business the past couple years and I always tell those looking for guns to get their prices from other local shops first. In most cases, they matched or beat the competitors price. In some instances, they weren't able to meet the price, but came very close. My only complaint is the shops location. It's not visible from the street and parking can sometimes be difficult. Inventory can also be light, but if you know what you want, they can get it as quick as the other shops. Most of the time when you visit this shop, you'll be dealing with the owner, Chris. He works a lot of hours building the shops reputation. I hope you all give this shop a chance to earn your business. read more

This was my first experience in a gun store... Chris was very informative and so helpful to me, I went in and told him my concerns and asked him what I should do. I ended up ordering a taser from him that I cannot wait to get.. every girl needs something to defend themselves with I believe, so thank you for your help Chris! I really do appreciate it, I got myself in a sticky situation back in 2011, so I wasn't sure if I would get approved to own a firearm. With his help, we came up with an alternative. I am happy with decision to get a taser, I think I will feel much safer in my home. Especially after he told me the affect it will have on someone if I ever have to use it. Very helpful, very informative, and he seemed like he genuinely cared about what I had to say. I will be recommending this shop to everyone. I was looking for a local gun store to establish a relationship with after purchasing firearms at other gun shops. Needless to say I have found "my" gun store, I went in looking for a new rifle as well as a pistol and after receiving excellent customer service, it was a no brainer. Chris and Tony are super solid guys and will help you out with whatever you need. I went into the shop to pick up my handgun and Chris took the time to show me how one of his products that he sales works without any sales pitch or pressure to buy it. I'm a young female (25) coming from Southern California (Costa Mesa) not knowing a lot about the area & not knowing a lot about guns. These guys are awesome, Chris and Tony are extremely helpful and knowledgeable guys. Bought my first gun from them and plan on getting my next once inventory comes back from this pandemic craze. I am glad I found this store. Chris is very knowledgeable and patient with all our questions. My wife and I wanted revolvers but wasn't sure what type, after talking and spending some time with Chris we got exactly what we wanted. I came back and purchased 2 more times. There Gun Shop has great selection of firearms and custom holster. There staff are friendly and knowledgeable about there products they sell. I had a pin & weld done here a few years ago by these guys and they did an absolutely awful job…read more It was a simple job and it looked like he had never done one before. Rather than say that he took my money and then drilled out the muzzle device (which already had a pre-drilled hole for a pin & weld from the factory), and then jammed a piece of solder into the hole and didn't even properly melt it down. There was spalling on my barrel and the whole thing was a total mess. I wound up having to send it out to another shop to have it drilled out and redone. A complete waste of money, I have always resented this place for how they did me wrong and I hope that guy either learned actual gun smithing or gave up and moved onto other things.

FL during the intro to cocaine crack, boats washing up on shore with illegals, and extreme murder rates that were number 1 for many years throughout the USA. Our equipment was for the era. Our gun belts unlike today were 2.5 width with keepers and roger 3 holsters. this equipment prevented belts sliding and weapons being pulled out of holsters. I required a new holster to fit my Canik and all these shops sell is the new style. Thats ok but I had a set up that I liked and it worked for 20 long years. No local gun store could assist me and the under 30ish group of sales people came across with arrogance and called my set up old school. My last hope was NV Tactical and to my delight they had accessories that remove the pancake style holsters and can screw in the piece that allows one to use the thicker width belts. Not only did they show me how to make it work but I was able to purchase a magazine holder that fit my belt. great people. they took their time to show me some of the newer accessories and they even put my belt gear together as I just had a heavy duty shoulder operation a few weeks ago. so all you over 50 LE guys and older shooters, this gun store has everything for everybody.
