Private party transfers are conducted inside our store. Transfer fee is $50 and background check $25. Receiver of firearm must hold Nevada state issued ID.

How long do ur the background checks take?

Depends on how busy the government is and how fast each shop transmits the form. Personally I have found 1-3 days from both lock and load (not recommended) to Bass Pro shops (highly recommended). The longest was two days and the shortest was next…

The current laws on firearms will prevent an individual from taking the gun selection home that day. If you have a concealed weapons carry you might be able to walk out after some checks with your said weapon. Know the law. It can mean the difference from owning a gun and not owning a gun. The second amendment states: "A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed." After your purchase it's time to go home and wait for their call. As long as nothing shows negative on your background time to go get your new firearm. Be prepared and time to enjoy. Shoot off a few 100 rounds to break in your new gun. For all the accessories and ammo you need they can assist with your future purchases too. Thankfully, I ended up going to a different gun store in Vegas where I received exceptional service. The employee there went above and beyond--he took the time to explain things to me and even showed me where the items were located. We entered the store and did not receive a "Welcome in" or any type of greeting you would normally receive when entering a store as a paying customer. As we approached the counter we were met with an employee that was extremely dismissive and unprofessional. His attitude was relentlessly negative, and his behavior was clearly designed to obstruct the transaction rather than assist. As I began to fill out the background form, he took it upon himself to look up my address and it was determined that the address on my Driver's license would not satisfy the residential requirement on the background form, which I can easily have fixed with the DMV, however, he stopped the transaction and was extremely rude about it and was not helpful in explaining the process. When he was questioned about certain "store policies" he was making up during our conversation, he was unable to provide an answer, he was unhelpful and also refused to provide his or his superiors names when asked as well, we were told "we don't give out names here". We left the store with the intention to return the following day with the address correction documentation. The very next morning I received a call from the original dealer that Precision Armory was sending my merchandise back to them and the employee had made false allegations that we were attempting to make a straw transaction which has now damaged my reputation with the original dealer. There was absolutely no other explanation for this employee's behavior, other than he is racist and couldn't contain his disdain and hate for an African American man, it was evident all over his communication, expressions and demeanor, he couldn't hide it. Additionally, there are several other reviews from other customers citing similar discriminatory experiences with this store. I have made multiple attempts for the manager or owner to contact me directly, including a BBB complaint that has went ignored. I would not recommend this store, unless you support discrimination, racism and wickedness. There's so many other stores that will not treat their customers this way.

I saw the advertisement in backpage that a new gun shop had just opened off of St.Rose and Eastern so I went down to check it out... I was greeted by the owner as well as the friendly staff behind the counter. The store was immaculate and clean. They have a great selection of guns, rifles and accessories and really take the time to work with you. Also new people like my daughter, I took her in to look for a new gun and they fit her with the perfect one for her as well as several other purchases we've made on several trips back since. This is definitely our go to gun shop for our family.!! They also offer other services too like hydro graphics, cerakote, custom work, training, gun safety, CCW and a whole lot more.!! When I have a choice, I prefer to use small locally owned businesses. This shop is about as small as gun stores get, but they offer outstanding service most shops are lacking. Prices aren't always the best, but usually very comparable to other local shops. I've sent them plenty of business the past couple years and I always tell those looking for guns to get their prices from other local shops first. In most cases, they matched or beat the competitors price. In some instances, they weren't able to meet the price, but came very close. My only complaint is the shops location. It's not visible from the street and parking can sometimes be difficult. Inventory can also be light, but if you know what you want, they can get it as quick as the other shops. Most of the time when you visit this shop, you'll be dealing with the owner, Chris. He works a lot of hours building the shops reputation. I hope you all give this shop a chance to earn your business. read more

This was my first experience in a gun store... Chris was very informative and so helpful to me, I went in and told him my concerns and asked him what I should do. I ended up ordering a taser from him that I cannot wait to get.. every girl needs something to defend themselves with I believe, so thank you for your help Chris! I really do appreciate it, I got myself in a sticky situation back in 2011, so I wasn't sure if I would get approved to own a firearm. With his help, we came up with an alternative. I am happy with decision to get a taser, I think I will feel much safer in my home. Especially after he told me the affect it will have on someone if I ever have to use it. I was looking for a local gun store to establish a relationship with after purchasing firearms at other gun shops. Needless to say I have found "my" gun store, I went in looking for a new rifle as well as a pistol and after receiving excellent customer service, it was a no brainer. I had my Kimber hydro dipped. Dropped my gun off so they could ship it to Cali. Took a bit of time but i wasn't in a rush. The Kimber looks amazing. No flaws at all. The staff is very friendly. I had a pin & weld done here a few years ago by these guys and they did an absolutely awful job…read more It was a simple job and it looked like he had never done one before. Rather than say that he took my money and then drilled out the muzzle device (which already had a pre-drilled hole for a pin & weld from the factory), and then jammed a piece of solder into the hole and didn't even properly melt it down. There was spalling on my barrel and the whole thing was a total mess. I wound up having to send it out to another shop to have it drilled out and redone. A complete waste of money, I have always resented this place for how they did me wrong and I hope that guy either learned actual gun smithing or gave up and moved onto other things.
