From demolition to final walkthrough, the experience was seamless, professional, and stress-free thanks to their exceptional attention to detail. Communication was excellent throughout the entire process. Every update, change, and decision was clearly and promptly communicated, making it easy for us to stay informed about the progress. We always felt that our concerns were heard and addressed even when we decided to add a separate bathroom upgrade that wasn't in the original scope. Our project was impressively organized from coordinating trades to managing the timing of materials and appliance deliveries. The timeline we were given was realistic and well managed, and they stayed on schedule without ever compromising on quality. When we started planning, many of our friends related horror stories about overruns with their remodeling projects. However, we never faced this issue (much to their envy). What really stood out was Bryan's responsiveness to the few (minor) issues that did arise nearer the end, which is to be expected in any remodel. We asked several local contractors for quotes and Derek Kulda is the only one who actually took the time to take measurements, talk to us and walk through our different options. In fact, he's the only one who came back with a proposal that was within our budget and exactly what we wanted. Well... two small bathroom remodels turned into a brand new house - new floors, plumbing, electrical, paint, bathrooms, walk in closet. Obviously we went way over budget and it took longer than anticipated, but the reaction we've received from everyone has been incredible. Our home appraised for over $125k more than what we paid and we couldn't be happier. Derek and his team took the time to listen to us, walk us through our options, get all the proper approvals and permits, present scenarios where we could save money/cut back on costs and present an amazing final product. So although the HORRIBLE mess is still there, it is not the fault of Kulda and Sons, but rather of the homeowner. I apologize for the posting. I assumed because the Kulda & Sons sign was posted in front of the home they were the contractors. I truly believe they were not. Jamie, Collin (our PM), and the entire crew routinely went above and beyond the call of duty, and were always courteous and honest, hardworking and kept things clean and well-organized. Verdura Construction completed flooring, siding, painting, built a beautiful patio deck and installed a jacuzzi, installed new windows upstairs and downstairs, hung lights and chandeliers, etc. Our home was transformed! Jamie and Collin were always attentive, patient, highly skilled craftsmen and businesmen and we became friends in the community. Cannot say enough about how much we enjoyed working with them! After starting our project with another company, we realized that once demolition began, progress…read moreslowed down significantly. Since we were short on time, we decided to find a new contractor to complete our new house. Masterful jumped in and started construction even before all the design details were finalized because we couldn't afford to waste any time. Atar , the designer, stayed in daily communication with us to finalize the design while the crew, managed by Nur, began work on the rough electrical and plumbing. We genuinely felt like the whole company was focused on us, even though we know they were helping other clients at the same time. We only wish we had met Masterful sooner. Thanks to all their hard work, we got exactly what we wanted and are truly grateful.
