Being from UK we don't have access to firearms anymore - unless you count Airsoft etc. When my son noticed a large billboard displaying this activity on our way to Lake Powell, at Page, Arizona, we were all up for it. Unfortunately, the place was closed by the time we noticed the advert, and our son was poorly the day after that. It was clear he'd love to go, but we planned to leave that morning and the place didn't open till 10am. We told him we would drive past but not to expect much so late. His face was a picture (he's 25!) when they said not only he, but all of us could use the range that moment. Our boy was in heaven, he ordered the whole six armaments to shoot. My husband and I chose a 22 pistol and then automatic rifle. Of course, my husband was brilliant, done it before (vet). I'd shot 22's before, but not an automatic. After hearing all the horror stories about the recoil, I was hoping it wouldn't break my shoulder! Fortunately our designated member of staff reassured me and even held my shoulder in place behind me - just in case. Naturally, the boy not only went for all six guns, he also had double ammo too. Took forever, nearly blew my ears off, even with ear defenders. But, the look on his face was priceless. The staff member also took photos for us all on our phones. Awesome. The Staff were actually amazing throughout our experience. I was a teeny bit worried they might be 'shot jockeys', but they were serious, took their time, ensured we were okay, held the weapons and us respectfully. Totally professional and safe. Next time we are over the pond we are definitely going to attend a shooting range. read more

My family and I were in Page for a short getaway from the Covid mess. Some of the events we had planned were not open due to Covid and we saw the Gunfighter Canyon store near our hotel. Being former military I was impressed as soon as I walked in and saw an authentic WWll Jeep. My wife and son ended up shooting 3 fully automatic firearms each. We ordered the double ammo because after the first magazine you usually are more comfortable and want to shoot more. Well, CJ and Dane were the people we interacted with and they were both phenomenal. They are experienced, very knowledgeable and treat you like family while maintaining their professionalism. Neither my wife or son had ever fired fully automatic weapons before and they both fell in love with it. The environment was clean, safe and loads of fun. After shooting we threw axes which is also at the location. CJ gave us a brief instruction and we had additional fun doing that. The experience is something you will remember for the rest of your life and is well worth the money. CJ and Dane are awesome and hopefully you will go there on a day when they are both working. Kept seeing the ads in the local tourism magazine. "COME SHOOT GUNS" seemed dubious, but I thought it would be something out of the ordinary. By complete happenstance, it ended up sharing the same building/space next to the Slot Canyon tours (which is also fantastic, by the way). Walked over and just chatted, and Sean was particularly friendly and explained their offerings, and I decided to come back after the tour and give it a go. Sean was super friendly and explained everything about gun safety patiently. All of their experiences are packages, and you essentially pick a grouping of the firearms you'd like to shoot. It was a great experience. Highly recommend it to anyone who's thought about but hasn't really considered handling firearms. I believe those who work here are all vets and have knowledge of all of the offerings there. read more

I highly recommend visiting and shooting at Gunfighter Canyon. My wife and I are complete novices when it comes to shooting guns. When we visited, we talked to Nate (our instructor) about what types of guns we wanted to shoot. He was patient enough to help us walk through what guns they had and helped pick out the right packages for each of us. Nate did a great job of making sure to answer all of our questions, made us feel safe for our first time out on the range, and, most importantly, made sure we really enjoyed ourselves and had fun. If you are ever visiting the area, then do make sure to check out Gunfighter Canyon. There is a huge variety of guns to shoot and the instructors are willing to help you find/put together the right package for you. My sister and I came into Page for a very short vacation and decided to stop into Gunfighter Canyon when we were checking into the Horseshoe Bend tour. What a great last minute decision! We had a blast. I love that they offer different packages for different experiences. I got the Operator package and my sister got the Pick 4 package. Sean was super helpful and soooooo nice! He made the experience so enjoyable because 1) we are not big gun-users and 2) we were trying a bunch of new things and Sean made us feel at ease with his instructions and not intimidated at all. I Walked into Gunfighter Canyon to check things out, I wanted to give my daughter the chance to shoot a machine gun in a safe and controlled environment. After meeting Sean and observing the staff and how the operation was run, I felt comfortable she would have a great shooting experience. I was not disappointed. Fantastic! We were visiting page to do antelope canyon and horseshoe bend and saw the billboard for Gunfighter Canyon. Our hotel was right next to it so we walked over and spoke with Jeff who was really nice and informative. Went back today after some hiking and met Sean. Very energetic guy and also really nice. My first time shooting an auto and I barely have even shot a gun previously. He was patient and helpful. I would highly recommend stopping in to shoot even if you never have or are afraid of guns. I live in Maryland and heard about Gunfighter Canyon from a friend who spent time in Arizona. My mother and father retired to Arizona and while visiting them, decided to give it a try. The service is amazing and there is a wealth of knowledge around you. What I enjoyed most about the place was the comradery, people were not just into shooting but talking about their weapons and experiences. The family and I were recently vacationing in Page, AZ. We visited Gunfighter Canyon and had an amazing time. From the moment we walked in the door we were immediately greeted by the wonderful staff. DO NOT GO HERE! Worst experience ever. Joey was incredibly unprofessional. I would say his behavior towards my girlfriend was borderline sexual assault. His sexual innuendos and constant touching was gross. She was appalled and mortified and we couldn't wait to get out of there. We are pretty sure he had an erection at one point. I also found the CONSTANT checking of his phone rude. Stop sending dick pics or whatever you were doing and help the people paying for it. I own a gun. However I don't feel comfortable shooting it nor am I confident using it. This afternoon my husband wanted to shoot so we came in as a family. Hesitantly I signed up. Joey was our instructor and reassured me that I could handle it and that he would be right at my side. My experience today was exactly what Joey described it would be! I've been to many ranges around the country but Gunfighter was my favorite by far. Extremely friendly staff, very reasonable prices, and the quality of guns were second to none. Even my wife had a blast and she rarely shoots. The staff was very helpful in helping her learn how to shoot new guns she had never seen. All together great range for beginners to more avid shooters like my self. But be careful because you will leave with an even bigger gun itch than you had when you walked in the front door. read more

My husband and I were in town touring the Grand Canyon and saw a huge sign advertising to shoot machine guns in an indoor range. We don't have this where we live so we went in and it was awesome! Candice helped us out and she was so knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful! She made the experience that much more amazing! EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE -- I'm an avid shooter already. However, I couldn't pass up a chance to pull the trigger on an authentic full-automatic machine gun!! It's not just shooting, it's the entire experience from walking through the door, to talking to the staff, shooting the guns and taking pictures. Everyone there was clearly having fun.
