Amazing selection of gunpla and third party kits, including P-Bandai kits I've never seen before! I was looking for a particular kit 1st edition kit that was sold out everywhere online and other stores and I managed to get the last one here! They do have odd operating hours so you have to work around that. I gave them a call and the gentleman that helped me was kind enough to stay a little past closing so I could come and pick up my online order! This is my first experience with them and they were amazing. I can't wait to come back and visit again. 10/10 Product selection and variety 10/10 customer service 7/10 store hours

Run by a single guy named Howard that's also into the hobby. You can usually see him interacting with the guests around the shop, talking and recommending kits to novices and veteran hobbyists. For a small shop located above an urgent care, it's basically a hidden gem filled with both current and niche printed model kits. Since it's a little hole in the wall spot, there's very little foot traffic allowing for a very nice and comfortable shopping experience. Prices are also very nice and reasonable compared to most spots I've visited around the LA area

I've been shopping at the online store for awhile so I had to check out the recently opened store front on main street. The selection and variety here is hard to beat and the prices are the best in the area. Definitely recommend dropping by if you're in the area and looking for model kits.

Super friendly owner! Great price and good selection. It's on the second floor and doesn't look like your typical Gunpla store!

Located on the corner of Main Street and Garfield Ave, it is a great place to visit while going for a stroll in the heart of downtown Alhambra. Plenty of great eateries and cinemas in the vicinity as well. A free parking garage is conveniently accessible right behind the shop, in addition to street parking. Although the shop is small, they were able to feature hundreds of items without it being overwhelming. As a newbie to the current line of collectibles, Top Canvas serves as a great introduction to the new trend. As I walked in, a young woman politely greeted me and offered me assistance. Upon request, she promptly directed me to the Mofusand plushies and a wall of keychains. She took down the plushies from the shelves, so I could take a good look at all of them. And then, I spotted one very adorable Hello Kitty plushie holding a strawberry which totally makes a great Valentine's Day gift. For less than twenty bucks, I quickly secured my choice and went on to explore the rest of the shop. The average prices range from $9.99 to $29.99, so you can build up your collections without breaking the bank. Top Canvas is a great place for buying gifts on a budget, as they offer so many cute things for under $20. I also purchased 2 Lokiki blind box plushies as gifts. The gift recipient seems to love it, because it's always fun to open up a blind box. She totally adores her Lokiki plushie. Without a doubt, the highlight of my visit is the wall of Mofusand keychains! At $9.99 each, big or small, these are just too darn cute to pass up. I want them all!! Some of the more expensive and fragile collectibles are showcased behind glass. Great for avid collectors!! Tired of shopping on Amazon like me?? Then support your local business and come to Top Canvas. It's so much more fun to go shopping at a brick-and-mortar store where one can actually physically feel and touch what they're buying.

There is a free public parking structure behind the store. Some of their blind boxes are slightly cheaper than same boxes at other similar collectible stores. The anime selection is above average and there's a giant Capsule Corp background (from Dragon Ball) and a giant Luffy figure (from One Piece) to take pictures with. The One Piece trading card vending machine was out of service at the time of my visit. This is one of those stores that is great to at least stop by for those who are into anime or Sanrio plushies. Personally, I still prefer Ebisu Life Store a bit better. P.S. - Due to limited availability of pennies, cash totals are rounded to the nearest $0.05.

After that, one of the Director's, Vigen, reached out and asked me to give the shop another shot. He was extremely kind, professional, and well spoken, and he took my concerns seriously. I went back in and had a completely different experience; Daniel was incredibly patient and helpful, and the rest of the team was friendly and quick to offer assistance as soon as I walked in. Even the employee who initially rubbed me the wrong way was polite and helpful the second time around. Most importantly, they made things right with me and I felt taken care of. I also picked up another ETB and had a great experience with it (even pulled some really nice Ultra Rare cards). I still wanted to update this publicly because I appreciate when a business actually listens and improves. Based on my second visit and how Vigen and Daniel handled everything, I'm comfortable coming back, and I plan to return soon.

A few weeks ago I was looking to get some games to play with my family. My sister gave me 3 recommendations (Ito, Things in Rings, Hot Streak). I walked in and, after taking a few rounds through the densely stocked rows and shelves, and, not finding any of them, asked for help. They had two of the games so I got them. We've played Things with Rings (basically figuring out Venn diagram categories) several times at family game night and are starting to get the hang of it. It's a large shop (especially for games and figurines), and they host events too. Definitely a fun place to browse and get new games.

They have a wide selection of games available to play on-site, and if you end up liking one, you can also purchase it. There's no charge just to sit down and play, which makes it a great place to hang out with friends and enjoy board games together. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable, and they carry a solid variety of games. If you want more privacy, they also have a second floor that you can reserve for game nights. They have parking at the back and street parking. I never had a problem parking here. Overall, this is a great spot to hang out, play games, and even meet new people. They also sell snacks and drinks, so you can stay awhile. I'd definitely recommend it if you're into board games or just looking for a fun, low-pressure place to spend some time.
