Going for these appointments on+30C heat (for 85 yo) to find that they had booked us for the wrong location (not the one I asked them to). 6. I am booking again for the correct location while we are there for another time and make the arrangements from work to go there again. 7. They just called me to let me know that they have to cancel again as they dont enough staff to take of my appointments and they need to reschedule again. I will be asking the fam doctor to never refer us to this clinic.

When I arrived they didn't have my doctor referral anymore, and brought me to the next door office to take my payment. After a little bit more wait, the doctor announced they had to reprogram the monitor and asked me to either reschedule or come back one hour later. As I only went there twice in 3 years (same organization issues) and only to install a monitor on my arm, I am not in a position to assess doctors (they seem knowledgeable and competent, from my experience) but just was disappointed by the organization issues, when it is also challenging to plan 1.5 day off at work.

I was surprised as this was the first time that I don't have to wait for a long time so I was feeling kinda positive. Then the doctor assigned to me, Dr. Calvin Lei came into the room and this is where everything downhill. He checked me for a mere 5 mins and diagnosed it as a viral infection. I asked him what to do next as I'm taking OTC medicines and his reply was "to do whatever I want to do". When you come to see a professional you defer to their expertise and have high hopes that doctors will help you heal. Well not Dr. Lei. When you're at your vulnerable times and hurting he will definitely rushed you and your illness/symptoms dismissed. Most likely will not even provide you with the answers to your problem. This experience further inflamed my deep frustration and dissatisfaction with our health care system. Most medical professional nowadays lacks empathy and compassion and are mostly uncaring people who simply wants a pay check. So sad but true that Canada's health care is now at its melting point.
