I was visiting my parents who live in New Hampshire and getting some food in Maine so of course we had to make some pit stops. This antique center is pretty massive and features three big rooms full of stuff. Sadly, we were in a bit of a hurry but I was still able to speed run through all of the aisles and see everything. Vintage clothing, glass ware, books, war memorabilia, vintage toys, sports cards, and literally everything else. I was a huge fan of the glass cases and was stoked to check everything out. I almost left with an in box Pee Wee Herman doll but since I live in LA, I didn't feel like dealing with the shipping on it. Overall, Antiques USA is a fantastic antique shop and 100% somewhere you need to check out in the area. I had a blast checking out all the rooms and the next time I find myself in Maine, I'm for sure doing an antique tour and hitting this place up again.

Also had the largest variety of offerings and prices appeared to be decent. If you browse the entire shop everyone could find something that would interest them. My wife and I were in more of a browsing mindset and did not buy anything this visit. The photos I posted only shows a small selection of what was available. Some of the sellers had their Etsy stores mentioned as well if you enjoyed their offerings but wanted something slightly different they may offer. Also the staff when we walked in greeted us which was not the case for all the spots we visited. That added touch makes you feel more welcome. If you really went slow you could spend a long while looking at everything they have to offer here. If you are going down or up route 1 especially antique shopping this is a must visit. Mom and I were randomly driving through Maine finding little shops and even an outdoor flea market and The Hidden Cafe. Driving down the road with my peppermint mocha in hand, we first drove past Eileen's. Thankfully, we both decided that we needed to turn around. We always stop for the weird. The skeletons and other lawn decorations definitely got our attention. Upon entering the store we were greeted by a nautical and Christmas themed room, followed by a vintage room filled with knickknacks from the floor to the ceiling. Another small room was a combination of genres and the front room was a mix of more fun & holiday items. When I learned that the young lady that we had been gabbing with was Eileen, the owner, neither my mom or I could believe it. A former teacher turned antique store owner, a woman who followed her heart. I wish her the very best and hope that if you're in the Arundel area that you will pay her a visit.

I was given incorrect information by staff and was told to keep my receipt if the items did not fit my window. They didn't fit, so I returned to the store--only to be told by the manager that there was nothing she could do. Instead of taking responsibility or trying to help, I was treated disrespectfully. This store came highly recommended to me, but after this experience, I will never return and cannot recommend this establishment to anyone.

I scored a genuine leather flat cap from Meyer the Hatter for $25. When I got home, I looked up the original price and it was $125! Huge steal. I then also grabbed a vintage 90s style striped fleece henley long sleeve for $20. They had your usual vintage clothes and shoes but they also had everything from MTV Raps cards to every little accessory you could think of. Everything is neatly organized by size and color, which made browsing so easy and honestly so enjoyable. I really appreciated how intentional the layout felt. And then the second room... not only do they have 3 dressing rooms but HELLO NOSTALGIA. Not just like antiques. Awful. The woman behind the counter was talkative in a bad way. I relish friendly conversation when visiting shops. It's one of my favorite things about visiting stores! But this woman just kept asking questions, one after the other, the entire time I was there. I tried to make it clear with body language that I was just interested in browsing, but she kept on coming with the questions. It was more of an interrogation than a dialog. Merchandise wise, I saw nothing of value. Everything was sort of just stacked in dusty piles. There were none of the, "Oooooh, look at that! What a cool thing!" moments that you want when visiting an antiques or thrift-type shop. Maybe there's some hidden treasure in there, but for me it wasn't worth the dig.

The location is great.  There is LBKitchen a few doors down.  A really old cemetery across the street and a bookstore next door.
