It does get overwhelming by how much they try to fit into this location. I made a cake one weekend and was in search of a cake carrier. Luckily I looked up online and saw that they had one in this location. I walked through the store twice around until I was able to locate it. It was a little exhausting but I managed to find the item that I needed. I highly recommend checking online to see if the stores even carries the item(s) that you need before coming to this location. Overall, it had the item that I was looking for and I didn't need to ask for assistance. Easy trip for me!

Believe the other bad reviews about their customer service, now under new management Jason Medico, sales Casey Franz. We went over a month of downtime and zero proactive communication from the store. It shouldn't the customer's job to chase down management for updates on a defective product. On March 2nd RVA Repairs, Lakeside's Asko service third party came for ten minutes and said they didn't know the problem and said would order a new main board, UI board, and latch but wasn't 100% sure that would fix it which would also be another two week turn around time to order/ship the parts and fix. Ended up having Asko send a replacement on March 9th with Lakeside Appliance's contractor who they've worked with for "over 30 years" to install it the next week. No service window was provided for when the plumber contractor would come to install new dishwasher. Had to call Appliances on Lakeside to contact them to let me know when the installation time window was. Kevin, the contractor, scratches the front of the dishwasher right off of the van and scratches the doorhandle while installing it. Avoid this store if you value follow-through and reliability.

I came with a rush order for a large canvas; I'm been hunting for a reliable, local printer, and I…read morewas impressed with how quickly MinuteMan responded to my emails--especially when I had a rush order! Sadly, I learned they OUTSOURCE the canvas printing to another, unnamed company. Still, this was important, and they believed they could do a rush order and get the canvas to me in time to ship it via express mail overseas. Also, their quote price was shockingly in my price range! The canvas arrived early!. . .But despite talking extensively with MinuteMan, and adapting my files to ensure no errors with them for their press, there was OBVIOUS BANDING on the piece. Also; The outsourced company, a sign shop that does large scale printing, not only did they send a print with such issues, they mounted my canvas at an angle, making part of the black area appear on the canvas, and part of the image on the sides. There are also staples to the canvas that were not put in properly--They stick out and I learned this by hurting my hand when unboxing it; Since I prepaid, I had someone else pick up my order, and the person I sent was not knowledgeable about printing, or the piece, enough to realize there was an error. These errors all ensured I could not ship the piece the same day, or the next--and wouldn't arrive overseas in time. I am, understandably I hope, very hurt by these results, both to my hand and my career. I was beyond upset from all this, and while I was able to arrange to show in other ways, I decided to contact Minute Man and let them know what happened (In fact, much of this is from the email), thinking I wouldn't hear from them until Monday--and I was expecting to be told 'too bad', as I have met SO MANY print shops that do this. EXCEPT MINUTEMAN. They wrote back ASAP, apologizing, issuing a full refund, and letting me know they would be talking to the company they outsource their canvas through intending to get a refund for MinuteMan's acquiring their services! I know this one time, my print got messed up; But before that, I had customer service so good that, THAT is why I picked this company. One issue with prints of my work is moire, an effect you see when screen tones are printed and someone resizes the picture larger or smaller. The gentleman I worked with, Luke, helped me set up my print file so it was perfectly sized for canvas printing, including letting me send the piece over and letting me know if it looked good on their end: Despite this taking several emails, Luke put in the time, and moire? Was one thing my print DID NOT HAVE. Luke actually helped me set up the file *perfectly*, and frankly, I'm very impressed. I have had a lot of companies give me specifications or a template that still didn't work. Some have even changed their template or requirements listed on their websites after. Luke, however, was able to give me the exact specifications--and they were correct! I'm someone who needs a printer I can trust, and one who is local; I'm looking forward to getting my business cards done here, along with post cards, posters, greeting and holidays cards, notebooks--honestly they print so many things I need that I'm not sure I'll need another print shop. . .ever. They also do apparel, promotional items, and even custom items. I admit, this MinuteMan won me over, because who really wants to wait for their orders to come? With MinuteMan, they might do it fast, but the work they do gives you a smile that lasts. And unlike most print shops? They don't screw you over, are honest, and yes, their service is fast--Usually it's not a good thing to finish so fast, but this Minute Man is one I'm personally committing to; Their my go-to printer from this point on. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Chris shows up at your restaurant with his commercial sharpener and makes all your house knives sharper than new in mere minutes. He even brings loaner knives with him so your kitchen can continue working as normal while your blades get sharpened. If you want your personal knives to be ridiculously sharp, and stay that way for a long time, ask him about his hand sharpening service. He has a giant set of Japanese watersones and can put the most wicked edge you ever used on your knives by hand. He even hand makes some amazing Stainless Damascus Chef's knives. i bought one for my self and it is truly amazing. A medium sized Gyuto and it is now my most used knife. Va cutlery is always punctual and professional. Chris also sells a wide variety of kitchen knives so if your kitchen needs a new knife or all new knives he will get them real fast for a good price. His prices on sharpening are very good and will match the price of anyone else.
