This is my go to FedEx. I've been here at least three times for large prints. My previous experiences have been flawless. I sent an email and was able to pick up the prints the next day with no issues. I usually email them what I'm looking to print and they respond pretty quickly. I then review the item and pay in store. I'm not sure what happened on my recent visit, but it felt like a miscommunication. I was told that my prints would be ready to pick up on Monday and when I got there they told them they weren't ready and would only need an hour to be ready. When I called back in an hour they told me they weren't ready and that they would call me when they were. After hanging up, they then immediately called me back for my name again and then a second time to tell me they were ready. I still love this FedEx, my guess is things are extra crazy with FedEx during the holidays. read more

When it absolutely, positively has to be there overnight.... Thank You FedEx. And we tax payers get frustrated when one of America's oldest institutions...can't for what ever reason get it done. That's the reason FedEx exists. It seems like we continually see more dollars go to support an inefficient and unreliable Postal System. If you keep your receipt, you can at least get your money back from the Post Office...but when you ask, what happened....they can't explain...and worse yet...they don't care..after all, it's not their business. Enough venting, suffice it to say I will NEVER use the Post Office overnight service again for something that must arrive the next day. I like this location, facing the Main Street side of the road in the street level corner of the Bank of America building. The staff is friendly, professional and helpful. The only downside is there is no dedicated parking, you have to go to a garage...or risk parking on the curb and getting a ticket. You may pay a little more, but they deliver! read more

Wow. Had to return a bridesmaids dress, and always have so much anxiety about mailing things. Not sure why, but I always dread it. Walked into this Fedex location and was greeted with a smile by every employee. The young woman that helped me (long blonde hair with blue in it) was SO sweet and carried a hilarious conversation with me. I was in and out in less than 19 minutes. What a waste of money. I went to FedEx Office because I am a novice and thought they could produce a higher quality product than what I could do on my own. What they delivered was a pile of rubbish. I spent $50 on something that is inconsistent and looks like I did it myself. Actually, I have high standards and would never present such crap. Where is the quality control FedEx? Stick with shipping, FedEx. You seem fairly competent in that arena. If you use them for your business needs, you won't be in business for long. read more

The FedEx Office in Downtown Richmond is a great place if you need something easy printed quick. I love how you can upload files online, send them to a store to get printed, and pick them up later. It's a nice little workflow, and super convenient for business. However, this particular location suffers from inconsistent service, which makes me hesitant to keep using them. Strike 1: Sent in a print job where I needed little double sided handouts. I uploaded two 8.5x11" files, specified they need to be double sided, and indicated on the site that I wanted them quarter cut. When I went to go pick up the handouts, they were only single sided. I informed the employee of this, and he re-printed them, which was nice. He had to re-print them twice though, because he noticed he printed them on the wrong colored paper. Not too terrible, but dang, all that wasted paper :[ I still took all the handouts home, I'm sure we'll eventually use all of them to some capacity. Strike 2: Another day, around 11:30am, I uploaded 5 files online, needed 10 copies each. I called ahead and asked if I could get them same day, which the employee said yes, since it's only a print job. Didn't receive a phone call all day, but since my coworkers said that they don't call every time a print order is done, we figured our print order was ready. At 5pm, my coworker goes here to pick up the order. Print order wasn't ready, because they had a hard time downloading the files, and they've been trying all day. What? The files uploaded just fine for me, but I guess they must've been too big. Honestly, that was probably my bad. But to have our print order all day, have difficulty with it, and not give any of us a call to let us know what was going on? That sucked. It is probably in your best interest to call your customers to let them know the status of their orders, especially if you assured same day delivery, so we could try to work with you to find a solution. The only reason for the extra star is because the employees I have personally encountered have been really friendly and accommodating. I do think this place does try, and they do a great job when they get your order right, but maybe they get inundated or overwhelmed or something since it's the only FedEx Office near downtown. We may give these guys another try again in the future, but it will be awhile. read more

This is the 2nd time in 2 weeks I've needed a copy of my resume for an interview. Each time I've come to FedEx rushing to get one printed. I go here because they're the only copy print place that will allow me to email them my resume and print it. Some say they don't because of possible viruses. FedEx saved me twice and without hesitation. Because of the top knotch customer service and helpful employees I do all of my business printing here. I called this morning to add to an online order and I had to stop the clerk from hanging up twice because they misheard my order and they just wanted to get off the phone. I understand people are busy but they didn't even want to make sure it was right before just checking out and moving on. I asked for a price on the order and was told ," I can't do math this early in the morning man". If they were just trying to be playful it did not come off that way. Literally the only customer in the store. Standing in clear view of both of the employees on duty. They continued to speak to each other without acknowledging me. Then when I asked if one of the could help me, they asked me to hold on and continued their non-urgent, casual conversation. If a place is busy, I have no problem waiting. The manager, Candace S went above and beyond, ensuring it was completed in a timely manner, reviewing every aspect and even applying a discount for the size of the job.
