I absolutely love this place and their products!! My family has changed our whole diet to clean organic eating. My wife is from Switzerland and we go there often so we know high quality food products. We love their pasta as it is top quality production from small factories in Italy. It is way more nutritous, digests slower, longer dry times and is absolutly delicious pasta. They have so many awesome clean, organic, old world production food products (not mass produced crappy Italian style USA pastas etc. which cause bloating and inflamation). Our favorities are their Martelli & Faella pastas, olive oils, Vinegars, San Marzano tomatoes, the small beer bottle tomatoe sauce A+, amazing sun dried tomatoes & hot peppers in EVOO, Sardina honey etc. Don't sleep on their flour either if you like to bake bread or make HM pasta etc. They have so many great Sicialian products. The Honey is excellent as well. The shipping is very fast and they pro pack everything. I have an Ebay business so we know pro packing and shipping. Our last shipment they double bubble wrapped my Faella lasagna pasta which I was totally impressed by!! I can't say enough good things about Gustiamo. Highly recommend Gustiamo to shop Italian food products from specific and unique regions in Italy. I recently purchased jars of bottarga and worth every cent. This particular item is very specific to Sardegna, an island I miss very much. Being able to make a simple dish of spaghetti with bottarga is simply heaven. After a visit through Italy and Japan, I began looking for specific brands of tomatoes and pastas I saw in the kitchens of many Italian restaurants - my search led me to Gustiamo. Their products really make a difference when you cook Italian food. REAL DOP products and the kind that good trattorias in Italy cook with, "slow food" ingredients made by special Italian food artisans. One of the very few places that has Casereccie Corte by Faella, and other Faella products. This pasta is by Pastificio Faella - Gragnano, considered by some to be the best dry pasta in the world. In my opinion, the texture and flavor of Faella is one of the best, and this particular shape holds the sauce very well. In 2012, the designated Italian authorities completed all investigations and granted Gragnano pasta producers IGP status. Faella is one of those producers. Faella does have other varieties of pasta, such as the Calamari, which is so named because it is shaped like cut calamari. About $8 for 1.1 lb./ 500gram package. Importer of Italian delicacies, this is the only place in the US I know which has Sant Eustachio coffee (among the best in Rome).

I am a big fan of Fratepietro Bella Di Cerignola's. I have spent over $700 in this brand alone since March. I mean I am what you call an aficionado of olives. Tried every single kind and my favorite are Cerignola's green and black. I can eat olives every day alone and be fulfilled. Yeah it's that bad, I even love dirty martinis. There is only a few companies that offer food service size which I typically order in this olive which comes in a can. Gustiamo supplies their products in beautiful amphora size jars, the olives always come fresh and very prompt. I have a lot of these jars- I need a amphora jar hack. Any suggestions Yelpers? Gustiamo products are delivered in very nice packaging, the presentation of your package makes you want to order from them again and again. A few months back I received a order that didn't seem as fresh and Gustiamo made good on their product. They have very competitive prices and delivery fees aren't super high. I came with a backpack and spent $$$ , at Gustiamo to try what I thought could be the best products from Italy around new york city for the experienced amateur chief looking for professional level products . I was looking for canned tomatoes I could use in a sauce I have made for 20 years . This is an interesting place , more like a warehouse then a shop a lot of very expensive and beautiful jared and canned products fill a large and well light room with very hight ceilings . In the front there is the Pasta and different Italian salts, extra . The staff or directors of the place took me around and introduced me to everything they had very satisfactorily . But After spending $200.00 there I found my self with a backpack probably over 37, pounds . with a lot of canned tomato and other things like a beautifully jared tomato paste, honey , pasta , jam . NO ONE would give me a lift to the train . I had to walk up a long and very steep hill about five or more blocks to get to the subway . I told them I would need a lift before I got there and I took a long trip to get there in the first place . I live in Queens . In fairness I know they were busy and had a man on the computer finishing some late orders or something but it is inexcusable . because a car would have taken 5 minutes to the train and back . There was a car and a few people there . Now for the products, most the the Canned Tomatoes I bought were Pomodori Pelati . They are very good but not exceptional . I am not comparing them with ordinary brands in a supper market like Red Pack that years ago used to be also very good . These are better and so were the other Tomatoes they had . BUT so expensive and not as good as "La Bella San Marzano" or no better then other high end imported you can find at high end supper market . These people pride themselves on very hard to find very rare products . The other things were very nice and I would go there to see the place and try some unusual things but I can not recommend the tomato past, it was heavy and flat tasting with stale flavors .
