A local tire shop was changing my oil recently and said that I needed to replace my valve cover gasket because it was leaking AND they also said we needed to replace the drive belt. I thanked them for their notification and asked them to please just change the oil. I then contacted Julie at SMELTZER and she was able to schedule me in to see her hubby for a second opinion. My husband and I took our car to have Corey look at it. He looked at the engine and found nothing wrong with it. I was shocked by two things, shocked by his honesty when most other mechanics would tell you what best benefits their pocket books- but I was more shocked that a local tire shop in Paso Robles that we have trusted for many many years would try to take advantage of their customers like that.
