If you're a mad Mexican fan then the food at Fonda will let you down. There's not a lot of punchy flavours and some dishes fall short (the beef taco wasn't that great - the topping bitter) while others are surprisingly tasty though far from authentic (fish taco I'm looking at you). The chicken quesadilla is just plain boring if you ask me, but it great for kids or plain eaters. My advice? There was not even a tiny use morsel of these left on the plate! In fact, I was so very impressed with the authentic flavor & taste, I bought 7 tacos, guacamole and chips, pico de gallo and chips to take to some friends.
