Requested information from GV keys on yelp for cutting and programming keys for two different vehicles at about 7:30am got a reply and call within minutes with a quote to do 2 keys for each of the vehicles, George said he could be to our house in 12 minutes!! he was not late, and arrived right before 8am. Once George arrived he assessed the work to be done confined the quote from the call and got right to work programming and cutting the keys and prior to 9am the work was completed 4 keys total cut and programmed, absolutely incredible service and a super nice gentleman. Honestly, this guy really does deserve the 5 stars. I sent out a Yelp "Request a Quote" and this guy called me within minutes. He was professional on the phone. Gave me a quote and stuck by that. He came promptly, within his stated time. He helped open my bf's car. When we couldn't find the keys, he offered to program a new fob and it was done in less than 10 min! When we figured out the original fob got stolen, George helped us AGAIN later that day to re-program my bf's car to prevent any old keys from unlocking the car without additional charges! He was very honest about what would happen if he would need to start from scratch and make a new fob again. Unfortunately, response times often took weeks, and the replacement key performed no better than the original. In each case, the key would stop working after about a week. I was assured that these replacement keys were sourced overseas and were compatible with my Mercedes, but that was not my experience. I have also tried contacting George repeatedly over the past two months without any response. If I could give more than 5 stars I would give 10 stars. I reached out was quoated a price for an 06 CLS500 Mercedes Benz. I received several quotes and one was $90 cheaper. However you get what you pay for. That person came out and I was told my dashboard had to be removed to program the key fob. I immediately call GV back, he said you should not have to do that. I needed a duplicate key made for our 2022 Mini Cooper. I called six of the best reviewed automotive key shops in the LA area. Four of them said they couldn't do it, one of them charged more than the dealership, which is ridiculous to begin with. One never got back to me, and then I spoke with George at GV Automotive.
