She took her time with me, explaining all my options, and costs, up front and we decided that this was the best course of action for me. Couldn't be happier with the results! All of the staff were so helpful and caring, and everyone did their best to insure that I was comfortable with both the procedure and my aftercare. Dr. Ketron even called me at home, on a Sunday, to check on my progress! In my particular case, dentures were the best option and Dr. Ketron and her entire staff were the right choice for my care.

I appreciate that they never seem to be bothered by my questions and love the time that they spend to explain a procedure. It's a little weird I know, butt one of my favorite things here is the amount of technology that they use to monitor and track the patients. Right by the dental chair, you can view a computer screen that shows your teeth, x-rays, stats, measurements, notes, and your horoscope (probably not but you get the idea). Seeing the health of your teeth so clearly would help to comfort even the most nervous patient. If you're looking for a dentist, I think you'll appreciate the services here!

I was a patient at this dentist office back around 2004. Obviously Dr. Scott doesn't have a very…read moregood memory. I had an injury to my mouth when I was in high school, about 30 years ago now. That injury has caused more and more damage to my teeth over the years. Dr. Scott saw that and all he saw was huge dollar signs. He did unnecessary work, I now have 2 dental implants, and his work was pretty shoddy. I had a flexible spending account with my employer at the time and I wasted it all very quickly at this dentist office. And after I had used up all of that money that I had saved for an entire year, they still wanted more money from me. Their financial person lied about something being covered by our insurance but apparently it wasn't. She harassed us a lot about paying them money that she had previously said our insurance would cover. She called me at work and at home a lot, harassing me for the money. So I realized that they really couldn't be trusted. Shortly after that, they moved to a new location, their currently location. Being able to get lots of money from my insurance for unnecessary dental work helped with that. And they probably do this to other patients as well.

They did confirm a cavity, then a 2nd cavity, and another $15K of work!! In October I only had them do a small portion of the work and fill the cavities. One of the crowns they put in felt abnormal and it was hard to eat with, then a filling fell out 1-1/2 months later. I went to get the filling and crown repaired. It felt like the needle the dentist used to administer the pain meds hit my jaw bone, and the pain was excruciating. When I screeched in pain she told me not to worry and "that let's me know I put it in the right place". My jaw didn't get numb so she injected a 2nd dose that was just as painful. That was the 1st time I ever cried at a dentist office. The repair to the crown made it worse than the original. My jaw was sore, slightly swollen, and tender to touch for over a month. I went to another reputable dentist to have him look at the work and assess what Abbeville said I needed done. He confirmed my suspicions that the work they said I needed was not necessary and took care of the crown. Today, 6 months after they repaired the filling it fell out again!!! All Abbeville cares about is money, not quality care or their patients. I would never recommend anyone to use them.

Turned out it was an infection that creeped into a root canal I had done a couple years prior by another dentist. Abbeville here wanted to DO ANOTHER ROOT CANAL FOR $2,100. Their reasoning? The infection was in the bone, and therefore antibiotics wouldn't help, because "antibiotics won't help an infection in your bones". That was their reasoning and exactly what they told me. And they were adamant, THEY ABSOLUTELY REFUSED TO PRESCRIBE ME ANY ANTIBIOTICS, PERIOD!!!! So after talking to SEVERAL dentists and doctors, every single one of them told me that antibiotics would INDEED work. So one prescription of antibiotics later, for about $12, my toothache was gone as was the infection. So I saved myself $2,100 by asking for a second opinion. ABBEVILLE DENTISTRY ONLY CARES ABOUT YOUR CASH. STAY THE FU.. AWAY FROM THIS NO CARING ABOUT PATIENTS PILE OF DOG SHIT EXCUSE FOR A DENTISTS OFFICE!!!!
