After dealing with another mechanic who wasted my time and money--claiming he needed a mysterious $2 part (then tried to charge me an extra $100!) and kept my side passenger panel at his house for over a month--I was beyond frustrated. Avoid this place at all costs. Went in for an inspection because I needed it done and they could fit me in. Failed me for a list of things. I decided like most people I'll Shop around and found somewhere who does the work for a couple hundred less. Brought it in and gave them the paperwork from Gwizz. I get a call that afternoon that they were right about one of the things but everything else was fine. Gwizz said it would be over 1200 to get my car to pass inspection when in reality it cost me under 200. Typical money hungry making problems up company. GO ANYWHERE ELSE!!!! read more

Traveling to see a loved one on Fort Drum? Need a car rental? LOOK SOMEWHERE ELSE! I dont care how cheap the rental is- it wont be in the end. A $250 rental cost me over $400. I will never see that money again!! These people have an answer for every move they make, but they make no sense. How do you rent a car, have unlimited miles...but get told you can only go in a 50 mile radius? They are disgraceful and unprofessional. read more

I will not recommend them to anyone at all. Everything was good at first then i took my car there for inspection n it failed for my front breaks which i had a feeling which is fine, ill take care of it but the guy who did the inspection on my car forgot to hook a hose back on which caused my check engine light to come on then my car to break down n had to get it towed back to gwizz n they took care of it at no charge then i take care of my front breaks and took it back to gwizz n pass the inspection n by the very next day my check engine light is on again n starts driving kind of weird again. Never have i ever had my check engine light come on before until i brought my car to them n this time he tells me hes gona have to charge me. Smh they want to charge me for there mess up smh i am beyond furious n i new better not to bring it back there after the first time it happened idk wat i was thinking. I rather figure it out on my own or give someone else my money then ever give them a penny again. As a single mom wanting better and to leave Jefferson county, I was harrassed, lied to and my deposit ($500) was kept. I have rented cars many times before and this was just insane. I wish there was a no star rating. Do not waste your time with this company. My airline cancelled my flight and as soon as I found out I emailed them and called twice to cancel rental. I was re-routed to another airport. Later in the day they called me to tell me my flight was cancelled! I said I was aware of it and that I tried to cancel the rental. They said they were going to charge me a day since they held the car for me. It has been over a week later and they still have not cancelled the week long rental I originally scheduled. read more

crooks....plane and simple. $50 to pick up rental at airport where you land and $35 to return to airport to fly out. then they change driving distances from original reservation on priceline. canadians dont use they wont let you go to canada....they use tracker and threatened me they would call border patrol and state ploice to have me arrested. they forced me to return rental and have not refunded me for the days not used....crooks...plane and simple read more

Had to have two snow tires I owned get mounted and balanced. They charged over $50 for two tires to be mounted and balanced. 9 out of 10 places charge 12 to $13 a tire, I know I worked at a dealer for from 2003 to 2017. I didn't question in the beginning the cost, because 12to 13 is the going rate usually. Was shocked when they handed me the bill in the end. This is soooo overpriced for the service compared to 90% of the shops In town. I will never be back and the friends I have recommended , I will talk to stay clear. If they charge this much for tires and are ok with that, what else are they willing to overprice??? read more

I gave 1 star because it requires you to pick at least 1 star. Keep driving. Seriously. Keep driving. I had my own brakes and rotors. They said it'd take one day, but then kept for 5. They kept saying there were more problems, but in the end, they sent me to the GM dealer saying it was a bogus code. Keep in mind I spent a little over $900 in that 5 day span. That $900 DOES NOT INCLUDE the price of the rotors and brakes, I had already purchased them. At one point they even blamed the battery. I took my truck for simple brakes and rotors and ended up with a vehicle that couldn't be drove. I have now spent the day at the dealer, just to be told their "reprogram" was bogus. I paid for their diagnosis and time which was a little over $200, just to learn the problem was, the original brake job was botched and was causing all the other problems. So you decide... I recommend ANYONE besides these guys. Brakes and rotors are suppose to be a basic repair that they are clearly incapable of. read more
