I finally agreed because I had a 30-minute opening at 6:00 p.m. The salesperson was very nice and polite, but before we even got started, I clearly told her that I was only looking for a quote and would make my decision tomorrow after I had time to think about it. Unfortunately, she continued to pressure us to sign that evening. I repeatedly said I was not making a decision that night, but she kept pushing. It got to the point where both my wife and I became frustrated. We finally told her we were done and that we don't do business with companies that pressure customers into making immediate decisions. We went back inside, thinking the meeting was over. About five minutes later, she rang our doorbell again and still wouldn't leave. That crossed the line for us. If your sales process depends on making customers feel like they have to decide on the spot, you're going to lose business. Give people the quote, answer their questions, and let them make their decision without being pressured. That's exactly what we expected, and unfortunately, that's not what we experienced.

I got three quotes and Manny's was about where I expected it to be. One was more and one was similar. I decided on Manny's because he seemed sincere and, surprisingly, he lived about 1/2 a mile from me. We had one day with sunshine recently and had a snow storm coming the next day so when he called and said he could do it that day I was thrilled. At 800am (as advised) two trucks showed up and I had 8 people on my roof scraping away the old. In at 800am, out by 500pm. They scraped, replaced the skylights, and re-roofed, then cleaned up. Outstanding work. All of the workers were great. I had questions during the work and someone was always available to answer them. None of them seemed to rush, it was get it done, and get it done right. We've had two snowstorms and a lot of rain and not one drop in the house. I can finally start sleeping better!
