It was upsetting to hear they charge if you use debit/credit cards now but it wasn't a huge issue because I was able to provide my bank info. The gym is still well maintained. It's clean, the equipment works, and staff is there to assist. This gym offers team training, cycling classes, aerobic type classes, weights, hydro massage, pool, jacuzzi, sauna, steam room, and lots of equipment. They even have hydro massage and a smoothie bar. The quality of service was good. The only downfall at this location is parking. This location has gotten more popular and parking can be a pain sometimes.

Every time I've encountered her, she comes across as very rude and unwelcoming. For example, when I said "hi," she simply said "hi" back without even looking at me. There was no friendly interaction or basic customer service, which made me feel like I wasn't welcome at the gym. Her attitude and lack of manners really stand out, especially for someone working at the front desk and representing the gym. I was taking a selfie on my smart phone after exercising on the stationary bike. While I was adjusting to take a picture of myself.  Chris approached me and said  "there are women behind you can't do that" as if he assumed I was taking a picture of them in the background. The problem is he was assuming and in reality I was adjusting to take a single solo shot without anyone in the background. I felt offended and this not my character of who I am. No selfie picture was taken because I was still adjusting. How would you feel if you were approached and warned and you did nothing wrong. I am a Military Veteran with class and honor and I am respectful to everyone. For this person to assume I was taking inappropriate pictures is wrong. I felt disrespected and I am shock. I am in a brink of canceling my membership.

As a manager, I expect professionalism, respect, and leadership. Instead, I felt embarrassed, disrespected, and like my time didn't matter. A manager represents the entire club, and based on my experience, Martin did not demonstrate the level of customer service or professionalism that members deserve. The staff are always friendly and greet you on your way in and out of the gym. I have not experienced the gym being overly crowded except when I went one time at 11pm and was surprised how many people were there but there were also a LOT of young kids since it was summer break. Usually I come in the mornings and it's never crowded but over the past month have been coming in the early morning hours which I now prefer. Very slow at the time, no wait for almost all the machines. This is a great beginner gym or gym for someone who is low maintenance or just looking to maintain their fitness.

Why is a front desk employee on her phone during work hours anyway?! All this time, there was no employee on the gymfloor who was cleaning any machine. Management: This is not a volunteer's position. Please hire people who WANT to be there and have the decency to at least greet a customer who checks in. Besides today, in general the front desk employees don't seem to have much pride in working there. I have not come across a rude employee like this before but they are not that friendly either. Maybe something to take into consideration during the hiring process. It's a shame because it's a nice location to work out. Front desk needs reminder that they represent Planet Fitness, not Walmart.

Maura is engaged with her students throughout the entire class. She pays attention to your form, makes sure you're doing each movement correctly, and genuinely wants you to reach your maximum potential. She always gives modifications if you need to make something easier, while also offering ways to make it more challenging if you want to push yourself. One of the things I appreciate most about Maura is that she actually corrects your posture and form. That is SO important in Pilates, and you can tell she is truly watching and invested in every student instead of simply teaching from the front of the room. Unfortunately, my experience with some of the other instructors has felt much more flat and routine. There have been classes where the instructor mostly walks up and down the room, gives the sequence, and seems focused on simply getting through the class, with very little correction or individual feedback. That difference is exactly what makes Maura stand out so much. She is present, attentive, encouraging, and actually teaches. I honestly wish I could have Maura for every single class I attend! Earlier classes usually work better for my schedule, but I will gladly make the sacrifice from time to time to attend her evening classes because she is absolutely worth it. I wish more instructors brought Maura's level of personality, energy, attention, and genuine care into their classes. From the very first day, I noticed I had more energy and felt more positive. If it were not an incredible workout, I would not be doing pilates at least 5 days a week. During my workout, I push myself and I'm always proud when I finish a class. There are many levels to choose from. If you want to push yourself and feel better mentally and physically, you should try pilates. There is no excuse for waiting until tomorrow. Feeling better takes one baby step at a time.
