Terrible experience at this neglected gym! I joined this gym on the beginning of this month (April ) and got my membership canceled by the owner 12 days later which I only used the facility 3 days to workout. I have multiple gym memberships from commercial to private gyms and this was a first. I always clean and unload the machines after each use and this day was not a different day. I was approached by the manager of the gym which is the owners brother in a disrespectful way, telling me to rerack the weights from previous machine which I clearly unload the machine, but the gym does lack on weights stations to unload to it, so I left on the side of the machine organized which he told me to put where I got them from, which was from walking around the gym grabbing from machine to machine and I told him that it doesn't make any sense when they lack on stations to drop the weights on it. Although I went back and did what he said. I pay to go there not to work there. 2 minutes later as you see the screenshot, the owner Mario texted me saying it is courtesy but them is rules which is not on the contract anyway. So they canceled my membership when I didn't even left the machines loaded or weights on the floor. Unfortunately this was a act of discrimination from the manager to me as a person as there was one other dude earlier time leaving all weights on the machines and nothing was said. I was going to cancel the membership on Friday due to this gym been neglected for long time. Machines are mostly ripped off , tapped or some broken. Machines are on top of each others or next to the walls with wires or ladders next to or impossible to load them, so many hazards. Bathrooms are dirty and trash all over the place most the time and barely anyone at the gym. Men's locker room is a mini one dirty with broken toilet and main door doesn't even fully close. What you see on IG are all filters and angles, they clearly misleading people, I joined online on their website from social media, as if I add gone see it before in person I wouldn't ever join it. read more

Honestly best gym I've ever been a member of, by far the best machines, you can tell the owner knows his stuff. The layout is a little weird and can feel overcrowded at times but I feel the negative comments on that are a little over blown. The music can also be too loud on some days, to the point where you can't even hear your own music with headphones on but I do appreciate the fact that customers are allowed access to the aux. Another gripe I had, which was a big one considering how much monthly you were paying was that several machines would be out of order on a consistent basis especially in the cardio department, as well as a urinal in the men's restroom. It's been a few months since the last time I was there, so I don't know if that's been resolved by now or not. Owner is a really cool guy and was very responsive to all my inquiries and messages. Main reason I'm not going here anymore is because of a one-off, petty dispute my friend had that was both initiated and escalated by a trainer working there but outside of that, it's arguably the best gym in the ie. read more

I've been meaning to leave a review of this gym for a long while now. I've honestly had nothing but amazing experiences being at this gym for the past 2 years. I currently have multiple gym memberships and this one tends to be the best out of them all and it's a hidden gem for sure. The gym is a mix for both personal training and a key fob access style gym for solo gym go-ers. One thing I really appreciate is the amount of equipment in the gym and the dedication to add more & more. Seriously seems like your money spent is put back into the place and that's something I don't see big corporate gyms do often. And speaking of big box gyms, the amount of times I've walked into my other gyms and walked out after 2 exercises due to crowdedness and waiting and went straight here after is insane but awesome to know when I walked into 6th sense it's pretty much a 10/10 solid workout when I'm done. Even if it were to be crowded at times, there's so much equipment that you can still have an awesome workout or not wait long. It's also because of this gym I was able to win my first men's physique bodybuilding competition this past May. It's open 24/7, has more than enough equipment in two different areas in the gym (including my new favorite brand Panatta), isn't as crowded as the rest, and has a great community. From my experience, everyone at Sixth Sense is pretty cool. The Trainers are doing their thing and seem respectful towards their clients and anyone in the gym. I high-key tend to keep to myself as the other gyms I have people that tend to talk to me a lot and not that that's bad, but I'd like to lock in when I go workout sometimes. That said, there have been trainers that see me come in regularly and tend to say hi and I appreciate that because that's just part of the welcoming community & environment that this gym seems to instill. I will say that there are people that record in the gym, myself included, with tripods and all that but should be noted that when I do see people recording, they respect the gym member first. I personally feel that there should be a safe place to record gym videos as there are people that do so to add attention to their business, brand, or personal use content. With respect if that bothers you, just know that I have walked in front of peoples camera set-ups unintentionally multiple times before and they didn't get pissed off or press you about it (not that it's right that they should) and have been really cool about it. This really does add to the mindset that everyone respects the regular gym go-er just trying to get their workout in first. Lastly, I appreciate the Owner for being very quick, efficient, and supportive when it comes to customer service. Whenever I reached out via text about any questions or issues with my account, he's been very quick and cool to work with and that is awesome to get that type of service nowadays. This place has gone down hill, the AC is horrible in the warmer months, all the grips and equipment are ripped up and dirty, the bathrooms had roaches in the floor mats in the shower, and you don't get what you pay for. read more

I have been coming to the gym since they did their soft opening. NEVER LOOKED BACK. I have watched this gym grow and expand into the best gym in the IE. As a competitive athlete, 6th has offered everything needed to accomplish my goals, plus some :) All the equipment is high-end, not to mention CLEAN (which is important to me). The environment is unmatched with a positive impact. Everyone seems to understand common gym etiquette (unlike global gyms) and all the trainers are super friendly! Mario(owner) really shows high levels of profession and really cares about his gym, I mean have you ever seen a gym owner mop his own floors, this guys does and it shows is hard work and dedication to the gym and his people. Hi, I need a huge help from the owner of the 6th sense gym. I enrolled for personal training with one of your trainers, Monique Maya (Instagram id: boodybymaya). I paid her $480.00 as her training fee for a month, and she only gave me two sessions and messaged me that she was discontinuing her training and would refund the remaining $320.00. It's been 2 months, yet I haven't received my refund. I followed up, and now she has blocked my number and is not responding to my messages. Can you please do me a favor and contact her to help process my refund? An incident like this creates a bad reputation for your gym, questioning the integrity and background checks of the personal trainers you allow at your gym. Sixth sense is THE best gym all around. Motivating environment, the best of the best equipment, and the best line up of trainers you can find all in one place. I was lucky enough to be personally trained by the owner prior to him opening this gym and he's given me life long knowledge. Nothing but respect for how hard he works to never stop improving the quality and offered selection of equipment. I will say this isn't a beginner friendly gym, but they will welcome you with open arms if you're dedicated! If you're a beginner/intermediate I would definitely recommend working with one of their trainers to learn the equipment and set up prior to paying for a monthly membership though! I dont often write reviews but I love this gym. If you're a powerlifter looking for specialized bars, this gym has it all on top of having every machine you can think of for accessory work. I've been to other powerlifting gyms and most are broken down with torn walls or limited equipment. 6th only has two pads and two combo racks but I've never had trouble sharing or getting a rack or a pad at night when I go. I respect the owner for always making improvements to the gym by constantly adding new machines, adding a sauna, and even adding something as simple as a new water station. I feel the owner has listened to every concerned I've had. The owner loves his gym and respects you if you respect him back. Simple as that. I don't have a lot to say about the trainers because I never needed one but if you're looking for a gym with a lot of machines and calibrated plates, this gym is for you. read more

I was a member of from 6th. In the beginning of July one of the trainers reached out to me to train me who happens to be Rudy Perez. I was interested and he seemed like a good fit for what I wanted physique wise and in the moment I felt he could help me achieve those goals. Until the more we trained there was flirting and inappropriate behavior which was one of the reasons I stopped training with him after a month. While I was still training with Rudy, my boyfriend and him met a couple times and it was very cordial. Until I stopped training with Rudy he began to find me when I was working out alone and brought up the idea that my boyfriend is the reason I stopped training with him. It started to become a continuous thing where he would catch me alone and bring up any negative way to involve my boyfriend. My boyfriend was also a member at 6th. He also works out alone and in those times, Rudy will always try to check my boyfriend, constantly asking "if he's all good", trying to always find a way to touch my boyfriend. Last night, Rudy approached my boyfriend vulnerable in the middle of his set and asked him "are you good, do we got a problem", over my boyfriend and his friend looking at Rudy in the mirror. Rudy's reasoning for coming up to my boyfriend was blaming his client for bringing to his attention that my boyfriend and his friend were looking at Rudy in the mirror. From there it got very heated and a lot of fighting words were exchanged. Such as racial slurs towards my boyfriends friend calling him the N word, balling up his fists, etc. This isn't what I wanted for my 1st time experience with a trainer to be like. It's disappointing that he couldn't hold a professional and respectful relationship between me and him. I could only imagine how many other women he's made feel this way. read more

Why do I come to 6th sense? To grow..... it's a breath of fresh air sometimes going from a big box gym to 6th. I still have other gym memberships, but get my 2-3 days of hard training at 6th sense. For all the people complaining, please leave. I don't want to share a gym with members who can't respect the rules and get caught up on how a message was delivered. Look at the wrong you did first versus justifying it and playing victim. Other gyms are awaiting.... I pay the premium here to escape the BS at other gyms that allow it. Honestly, I can't imagine myself going to a different gym. They have everything here. From all kinds of equipment to a barbershop a nutrition spot even a posing room. I can set up my tripod and film freely without being told I can't. And the owner is super nice. Definitely worth the price of admission for me. read more

when they said, this was the best gym in the IE They weren't lying. I've been a member here for a couple years now, and I wouldn't look back. Everyone is treated with respect, and the members here and the trainers here look at this like it's their home. It's hard to believe anybody could possibly have a bad experience here. I've seen the constant improvements with the gym, including new machines, a new sauna, even new dumbbells. the owners collectively treat everybody with respect, and I'd hope the people that come here recognize the hard work that's put into the gym. I've been coming to this gym for a couple of months already and i'm obsessed ! I have a trainer Justine and she's the best. I've seen growth & results since I started training. The gym itself is very clean and aesthetically pleasing. All the weights & dumbbells are where they should be. So many new and updated machines to use. They added another area to the gym. It has another turf and a posing room ! Could use some more cardio machines but 10/10. Also the atmosphere is very friendly, you don't feel judge here. read more

Love this gym! I have been with my trainer Justine for about 2 years (that can be a whole separate review on her as a trainer btw she's amazing) and have followed her to different gyms. This is by far my favorite gym. The gym is well equipped with top of the line equipment. It's always clean and we've never had any issues with the machines. This mainly due to the owners staying on top of quality and getting them maintenance as needed. The space is well thought out and there's no clumping of people in a small area. I love that they have since expanded and their is even more room with 2 turf areas now. The kitchenette feature they have makes it easy to put your post workout drink in the fridge and drink it on your way home. All in all 10/10. read more

First off this place is amazing, great atmosphere AND they have a fancy chandelier, enough space and equipment you won't be bored! I absolutely love my Gym Trainer Manuel! He has gone above and beyond for my knee, wrist, hip problems. I can now walk up and down stairs without my knee buckling on me. There are always new machines almost every time I go in. They have a variety of different businesses as well that are within the gym. Beware of the trainers at this gym! I paid for training sessions in advance and was canceled on 4 times in 2 weeks and then never heard from him again. Had to file a fraud claim as its been over 3 weeks with nothing to show for it. Apparently they don't give refunds despite not providing anyt services. Wish I could've visited the gym as it might be nice, but my experience with the trainer that go to this gym has been awful. read more
