My daughter signed up for a week long summer camp and that began yesterday at Flip! The location…read morewas a little tricky to find, only because it was tucked away at the end of a dead end road, but other than that, this place is huge and has lots of stuff for the kids to train on. The summer camp has about 25 kids with 3 instructors and 3 assistants, so there are plenty of people watching the children learn and train. My daughter attends another Flip! on ARR during the school year, but this location seems to be bigger. Overall, very happy with the camp and this location. Camp lasts from 9am - 4pm, and she was all talkative about her day and all the fun things that she did with her instructors.

Our daughter has been with GAC and coaches for 18 months now and we would have never imagined the energy, time, consistency and the winning mentality that is present day in and day out here. We are so grateful how much they've poured into her and how it's paid off. But now, under new ownership not only did they add junkie arcade games that cost a fortune but they upped the prices and minimum jump times. Now, 90 minutes is the minimum and it costs $27.99 + $2 amusement fee. And the days of wearing any sock with treads - gone. My daughter has socks on from another trampoline park and we had to buy "sky zone" socks (made in the same factory as the other trampoline park socks). The manager was a real treat too. He was more than pissed that he had to help check us in and talk to us while the part-time teen staff helped check in a birthday party and sell $7 slushies at the concession stand. I brought my kids and one of their friends who had a 60 minute jump pass that was given to him last month when he had a birthday party here. Would the manager just let the 60 minute voucher cover the new 90 minute minimum? Nope. Talk about customer service. $30/pp minimum entry fee, kids begging for arcade money the entire time and out of this world concession prices? It will be interesting to see how long this place lasts.

She loves and looks forward to going to gymnastics every Saturday morning, and the instructors are so wonderful with the children, especially the little ones, as I know it can be frustrating that toddlers don't always want to do what they're "supposed" to and listen. They have two trampolines, which are one of my daughter's favorites, as well as lots of other equipment. Back in town and back to Bikram Charleston! I can't go four days without a class so yesterday I…read moretook another Bikram 90, this time with Sam. I wondered if it was just me that thought it was a killer class, but once back in the ladies' locker room was reassured when even long time members felt the same! Sam was great and tough- she speaks a LOT faster than I am used to at home, but the moves were 99% familiar to me now, after six months (vs only a month when I was here last), though with some variations on things like Tree pose that I have in all classes at home. Sam had the same personal/name using touch that Ann Lane did last year (I was sad that she wasn't on the schedule but hope she is well and still teaching somewhere!). Much appreciated as an infrequent flyer. Still $20 a class and still more than worth it. I am coming off a back injury so I may do another 90 or possibly a Bikram 75 before we leave tomorrow night...being in class is really when my back feels its best! Definitely a super studio.
