Well what can I say this place was mediocre at best. I got the kebab plate and a beef and lamb gyro. The kebab was all burnt and the rice tasted as if it had sat all day. The gyro had Chicken flavoring the pita bread. Just not as good as the newspaper made it out to be read more

Solid 3 stars for me. This place is like many other strip mall gyro spots I've been to over the years. We ordered, like most patrons will, gyros and fries. Ok we also got falafel. It went something like this. Walked in on Friday evening. The young women behind the counter was friendly enough. I asked how the falafel was. She gave me that look like "I don't know what falafel is" but said instead, "I don't actually know because I haven't tried it". Either way I ordered it. I took the order to go. The fries were mostly cold by the time I got home. And get this; not a single grain of salt on any fry l! Lots of other fairly tasty spices but not one salt grain. The gyros were very standard. The sauce was ok, the onion was few and the lettuce was chopped lettuce, nothing special. The meat was pretty good although tough to tell if it was beef or lamb or both as advertised. The pita was nothing special at all. It probably came from the Mediterranean food shop on the other side of the parking lot. The falafel was nice, however. Not enough sauce served with it (about a tablespoon for a large order of falafel). My impressions are that much of the food is pre made and then warmed to serve. Fries are just frozen fries that are fried again. Without salt though. They can do better if they put a little more into it. You get out what you put in, simple as that. I think many of the 5 star reviews are friends and family of the owners. Just my suspicion. read more

This place is average at best. The food lacked seasoning it was very bland. We had the gyro sandwich with French fries. The french fries were not crispy and flavorless. The customer service wasn't much better; we were the only customers and our wait time was very long. Basically what I'm saying is go elsewhere. read more

Great food! My wife loves the baba ghanouj and we drive all the way across town to get it! I have tried a bunch of things from the menu and I like it all. My girlfriend and I went here looking for a tasty bite to eat today. We got the chicken gyro and super gyro and Greek fries. The food was absolutely delicious. Best gyro I've had. And it came out in a timely manner. However, had the food not been so good, this place would get One Star. The windows are filthy, the sauces had dust collecting on their caps, the dining area was unsatisfactory in terms of sanitation. None of the sodas in the fountain drink machine were actually to standard. I.e. either watered down syrup would come out or slightly tinted water with fizz in it. If they up their cleanliness, they might have more then 2 people in the restaurant at a time. read more

For the price the food is great and the owner (making an assumption) is very very kind. He made a small error with my order but corrected it asap. He is very kind and I hope his business makes it through this pandemic. I got the fried cauliflower which is great if you're not too hungry or on a diet. Husband got chicken Kabab. Also got the Vimto soda, a raspberry sherlie temple and it is quite the sugar bomb (more sugar than a cola) but I'm still glad I tried it. :) it was good (too good). read more

This place was a super nice surprise, it's so great to have a another Mediterranean food place in Tacoma . It's still really new so they are clearly still working out some of the kinks. I had the beef kabob and it was good but my husband got the chicken kabob and it was so so good. I will be getting that next time for sure. Ordered 3 gyros and the cauliflower. Waited over 40 minutes when It was finally ready one of the gyros was missing. The cashier white male seemed new, but also drunk or on something. I asked for my money back for the one gyro because I had to go. He scratched his head and seemed irritated by it, his reply was sorry i don't know how to do that. This was unfortunately a very poor experience. There was no music of any sort in the restaurant which caused a very awkward experience. When it comes to the food (we had gyros) it was very greasy and the meat was cold to the touch. My fiancée ordered a gyro with no tomatoes or onions and found pieces throughout her gyro, we suspect that they put it on originally then decided to remove it instead of remaking it. read more

Ordered take out last week and everything was absolutely delicious. The baba ganoush was smokey and creamy and the hummus was also great. Called in an order on a Sunday night and was told it would be ready in 40 minutes. Arrived 40 minutes later and paid and the cashier said it would be ready "in a few minutes". 20 minutes later I ask where my order is to one of the chefs and he says "a few minutes". When I told him that they told me that 20 minutes ago he responds "we're busy man" in a very annoyed tone. I tell him if that's the case don't promise me my order will be ready in 40 minutes when in actuality it's closer to 90. He asks what I ordered and I repeat my order and he tells at the chefs in the back. It turns out the person who took my order over the phone never put it in. To top it all off they had to verify I paid (it was the first thing I did) but it turns out they charged me for a different order and I had to pay AGAIN. Some seriously inept people working at this establishment. Save yourself the grief and get takeout elsewhere. read more

This place got 5 stars, so my boyfriend and I stopped in. We were not acknowledged (even though there is a door bell) when we walked in, we grabbed our own menus and sat down. Good food. But disturbingly dirty. The cooks in the back were wearing tattered gloves. Like the gloves were disintegrating on their hands as they cooked and they hadn't had time to change them. The hostess up front was touching the food in the process of boxing it, and she had no gloves on at all. We saw the hostess grab empty red trays from above a trash by the door (standard enough). But when we got our food, it was served on dirty red trays. They hadn't been wiped down after being retrieved from above the trash before fresh food was put on them. There were liners on the trays, but those liners were a little too small, and our pita bread had been placed right on the edge of the liners, partially on the red trays. So, no point in the liners. The bathroom, which is in the back, and stands a few feet from food freezers, stank of urine. The floor was slick, and it could have been water... or urine, judging by the smell. The entire bathroom was filthy. We had heard good things about the restaurant, and and when our plane into town was delayed into the evening on a holiday, and we saw this restaurant was open, we took my parents there. Now I fear one or possibly all of us will get sick. read more

Nothing fancy but good food at a great price when you're looking for a Greek food fix. We had the gyro plate, schwarma plate and dolmades. All tasty. I do have to say I have never seen such long grains of rice in my life. My two young boys thought they were some type of noodle lol. If you've been there, you know what I'm talking about. Wow! Great addition to this neighborhood. The feta cheese vegetarian gyro was heavenly, ditto on the greek fries. Luscious baklava too!

So I went there and ordered a large Gyro Fries, 2 Gyro and a Cheeseburger. Of to the site place. Have to say, I wasn't expecting what I got and I am glad that I went there. So I went in, the place was clean and the Service was friendly. For the prices of the meals, they were surprisingly low, so I didn't think I would get that much. But they were really good size portions. And the wait time I would say was about 10 min. Now when we got the food, the Greek Fries, were really good. And if you went to McDonalds it would probably be at least 2 large fries put together. The Gyro Sandwiches were one of the best that I have had here in Tacoma! What I really liked about the sandwiches was, the meat was really good and he had just the right amount of Tzaziki on them. I went to some places and the sandwiches, you take a bit out of them, and it is almost like eating stew. And that is not how I like them. Some people like them really wet, I don't. Now I am talking about the Cheeseburger. The Cheeseburger, now being a Hamburger guy I like a good Hamburger, esp a Cheeseburger, I would say from poor, medium, good and very good, I would give this a good. The meat tasted really good and was well done. The lettuce and tomatoes were fresh, they weren't all old and slimy like you get at McDonalds and Burger King. And they had the right amount of cheese on there. Like I said, I am ordering a Cheeseburger. Some places get that confused with a Grilled Cheese Sandwich with some meat in it. And the bun was good. It had a little bit of toast to it, which I like. But yet you wasn't eating toast. So overall I say, if you like good Greek Food and you don't make a lot of money like me, and you are one of those people that support mom and pop stores like me, if you are ever in the North of Tacoma, off of 6th Ave, this place I give it a thumbs up, go try it! read more

I love this place so much the Greek fries are ridiculous if you don't get those there's something wrong with you on top of that I have never had a bad item from that place with the Shawarma is amazing the gyros are amazing and the guys at work they're awesome they're always friendly have a smile the ladies are friendly And always have a nice thing to say my only drawback would be that it's not closer to my house so what I'm telling you is get down there right now and buy everything and don't forget about the desserts everything they are also delicious. And just an FYI I was a chef for 15 years almost 20 I'm super picky about where I eat and I'll let these guys cook for me any day of the week. read more
