I didn't want the fries so I upgraded to onion rings. Solid choice. The fries didn't look very good but my onion rings were great. $3 up charge is a little steep, but worth it. Only reason I gave four stars is cuz the staff wasn't very friendly and they need better training on cleaning. The restaurant, while newly remodeled, wasn't very clean. This place gets 5 starts. Food was amazong! Prepared fresh. The cost for my dinner, for the amount of food I received, was more than fair. Staff was extremely friendly and quick. The was lobby was clean. Ample parking, easy access to and from main road. The entire experience was flawless. I will be coming back. read more

*New Local Business Alert!* I spotted Gyro King, the neighborhoods newest edition to the restaurant scene, while driving about tackling errands. I ventured in this evening to place a takeout order and see what noms they had to offer. There's a drive-thru, which was bustling with cars at the time, so that was a good sign to me. Although their claim to fame is the Gyro, their menu extends to include varieties of seafood, wings, sandwiches, and even desserts. I ordered the Gyro Combo, which comes with Fries and a Drink ($9.59), and a piece of Chocolate Peanut Butter Cake to finish strong ($3.29). Everything is made to order, so it was about a 10-minute wait, which allowed me to meander around and snap a few pics. I whisked my food away to devour at home during my "Deadliest Catch" marathon (LOVE the show). First of all, I have to say that this Gyro was fit for a King. The warm, airy pita was packed to the brim with hearty chunks of fresh, scrumptious meat, with a luscious dressing of cool Tzatziki sauce. Between that and the generous portion of fries, it was easily enough for two meals. There was no way that I could eat the whole piece of cake, but i did take a couple of sample bites, and while the cake itself was chocolatey and delicious, I didn't detect any peanut butter aside from the few chips on top. Next time I'll definitely try their Baklava. The gentleman at the counter (owner?) cheerfully answered all my questions without a hitch, explaining different menu items, and welcoming me to come back for another visit. The dining room was spotless, as well as the self-serve fountain drink station, and all employees wore masks and gloves. Update: I came back and tried the garlic shrimp. Personally wasn't a fan for several reasons, but I did enjoy the crawfish. Other places don't actually heat up the seafood trays - This place does. Wings are STILL ON POINT. This place is open late so that way I can get my late night grub on. Definitely one of my new favorite spots to eat. read more

Beware! Y'all have to go inside to see for yourself! They have black mold all over their ceiling! That is a major health hazard, it can cause all kinds of problems including death. They place could really use an upgrade , the woman's bathroom is out order and men's is disgusting! I ordered French fries and it tastes like fish so I know they use the same oil. This was my 1st visit. The gentleman at the counter was pleasant. The restaurant seemed clean. The deserts looked delicious. I ordered baklava. That was some of the best baklava I've ever had for a great price to portion size ratio. The chicken livers were cooked well but you need to get one of the sauces with them or use hot sauce. This place is really good. The food was good and tasted fresh. I ordered the gyro combo with fries. The service was great and the place was clean. The owner of this place has updated a few things since the last time I was there when it was Crabby Ben's. For one, they replaced the old menu boards that had been there for years (even decades) with digital menu boards like what you'd see in most modern restaurants. The portion size of the meal was kind of big, but enough to keep one full. I also saw some of the other meals they serve, like the pressed Cuban, which I might try next time I come here. read more

This place is DELICIOUS, so much so that I am still giving them a five-star rating even though they forgot to take off the tomatoes and add any Tzatziki when I asked for extra. As it may have been Uber Eat's fault on the food arriving at my house 91 minutes after I ordered it. We could not eat the food. It was cold and soggy. Rain water was inside our to-go boxes. Gyro King is a solid 4 stars all around.. 4.5 for thier excellent Baklava and NY style cheesecake and a great marble cake. The Philly Cheese steak is very good. The Gyro is also, real strips of Gyro meat(beef and lamb) and a great homemade tasting Tzatziki sauce. Decent and thick cheeseburgers also. Very friendly service and Gingerale on tap! Used to be my favorite place to eat but I refuse to eat at a place with poor customer service. They refused to give me a refund for messing up my order 3 times. When I called them they said they would refund me but when I got there the manager on duty made the lady who took our order 3 times, confront me. She told me I lied about about not telling them what I wanted. Which is crazy to say because why would I come back 3 times and mess up my order 3 times? He then said he would have to take the food back to give me a refund which made me upset because this was during my lunch break which I became late for just because I decided to eat here! I told the "manager" this but he did not care or show empathy. I only care back because he said he would refund me even though I just wanted acknowledgment and maybe compensation like a free meal if I come back or something? I asked for the owner or corporate number and he refused that saying he didn't know who the owner was. No help. This restraunt apparently takes absolutely no pride in their food and does not give a damn what they serve their customers. I will be telling anyone who can listen not to go there and ad someone who has spent almost 20 years in the restraunt industry and also has a culinary degree......I know what I am talking about. I shoukd also mention this is only the 2nd review I have ever written in my life on a reatrau not so that should really tell you something. The food was so burnt and nasty and hard and disgusting. ANYBODY could see not to serve that to a customer. The worst part is that when you scroll their reviews online you find out that burnt food is apparently a common occurrence at their restraunt so you would think they would care enough to fix the problem. A freaking 4 year old could follow Instructions to lower a basket into a fryer and then simply pull it back up so I can only assume they must employ only workers from age 2 -3. Its probably hard for the Infants to reach the fryer baskets..... what a waste of my money that I work hard for unlike their fry cooks. read more
