I ordered a GRILLED chicken sub 8/15/2026, noonish at the Jacksonville, FL. Westside location off 103rd street. It came with RAW onions on it. If it was grilled, the onions should not be raw. It would be inconceivable they would add raw onions on a grilled sub that they just grilled. If the onions are raw, that means the chicken is likely raw. I took it back up to the counter and the female cashier (acting like she was the manager) refused to acknowledge the raw uncooked onions and refused to cook it more or replace it. I refused to eat it. I don't need to get sick from likely raw chicken. So there was no lunch for me today. THANKS FOR NOTHING "ZBest Tunis". It was one of those rainy nights I didn't want to think hard about food. I ended up going to Zbest around closing time, but no worries, the food is made to order. Be prepared to wait briefly in the parking lot after ordering to receive your food. I ended up going with a gyro. It was very tasty and the serving was generous. I always have a good experience here. Won't be coming back. No receipt and customer service sucks. My daughter's order was wrong and the lady said she ordered mayo, no ma'am my 15yo does not eat mayo. She asked for a tomato. You claimed you read back the order but you did not, you were too busy rushing to talk to your friend in the window. I decided to dine in for lunch today. The food here was looking real good today, and the service was really good today. For lunch I decided to have one of their combo meals. I decided to try out their wings and shrimp combo meal. The meal comes with fries. The shrimp was very well fried and flavorful, and tender on the inside. I've eaten at this Tunis many times. Today I received the worst meal ever. I ordered a fish basket with Flounder. That Flounder was way over fried. It was so overcooked that it was the same color and just as crunchy as the breading on it. The piece on the lid shows what I mean. You can't tell that's supposed to be white fish. I peeled the breading off half of it. As I broke this apart looking for edible parts, most of it went to my cat and dog. It's a shame when the fries are the best part of the meal.
