Great location for when you are headed to the beach. We were helped almost the minute we walked in. The lady was so nice, patient, knowledgeable & helpful. It was my first time getting a Sundae & I didn't know what I really got with it. 3 scoops of ice cream & a total of 4 toppings plus whip cream and a cherry on top! The ice cream was delicious! The fudge was yummy & at the perfect temperature. The strawberries tasted a lil funny, I won't get that next time. I loved the slivers of almonds. I got the white chocolate raspberry ice cream and it was a little soft for my liking but it still tasted delicious. I also got the coffee ice cream which was perfect, just the right amount of coffee flavor. And then I also got the cookie dough which had just the right amount of cookie dough chunks in it. The shop is small with just enough room for a handful of people to order ice cream but they do have outdoor seating, about seven tables with plenty of chairs. This new Haagen Dazs store just opened yesterday on South Pointe Dr. The location is nice for the locals and tourists that go to Nikki Beach. The only things is that you have to know where it is: at the end of the street under the arcades that go to the beach. There are no other stores there. On opening day they offered free ice cream for their first customers. The personnel is very helpful and make you try every flavor you want. I came back today to check how things were and it seemed pretty quiet. Prices are a bit expensive but not a surprise because of the location. $ 3.50 for a small ice cream cup or a kiddie cone, smoothies are over $ 6. I tried their new ice cream flavor: midnight cookie and cream...Delicious! There are a few tables outside under the arcade but no bathroom inside. This store is a nice stop for a treat on your way to South Pointe Park and the beach. read more

So, I am only giving this location three stars, because well, it only had 6 FLAVORS of ice cream! I am an icecream-o-holic, and for me, I need TONS of variety. However, the service was really good! Was in Miami visiting for a week. I ended up going to this particular Haagen-Dazs two days in a row (I never eat ice cream like that) it was great, the lady who helped us was very friendly and patient even though it was a big crowd. Which means they do the prices they want , so you have the tourist price and the non tourist one. 15 dollars 2 ice creams: my cup was barely filled completely with 2 scoops and they said the smaller size was not available AFTER we paid. My husband and I came in for some ice cream around noon on Saturday 30 mins after eating our ice cream served at the south pointe location we both start throwing up and having a very upset stomach we are both now very dehydrated from the throwing up and runny stomach don't know how long that ice cream was out if it wasn't fresh or if the dairy was just bad but this definitely has to be an issue checked ASAP.
