We chose wines from the high end of the price ranges - which was very close to shop prices. Either they're really good at wine shopping, foreseeing enough to buy well in advance or they just don't add a lot their price. In any case delightful to be able to taste expensive wines without bleeding - which gives them the fifth star - it's really good value for money. We sat outside and the hot summer exploded into a rain festival - which was not problem at all, as the massive umbrellas provided sufficient shelter for all of us 9 guests. The waiters managed to cover all servings of courses at the cost of soaking themselves. That's commitment. The desserts were slightly less convincing than the starter and main course - hence the introduction, almost perfect. I know it's not very French to give a tip but I was really impressed by the food, wine and they were very service minded, so I tried to convince the waitress to add 10%. She downright refused. Told me to go elsewhere with my fancy manners. With a a smile that convinced me to come back. The restaurant has an associated hotel which I will give a try the next time we're in this area. And off course we will have dinner again.

Our room was beautiful but a bit small and given the high price tag, we found it wasn't really special compared to some other similarly ranked/priced establishments we've stayed at. He was able to arrange a pickup for us at the airport (worth it) and our taxi back to CDG. They responded immediately to all our requests over email and were quite helpful. He also arranged a reservation for us at a local restaurant. The only misstep occurred the night before our departure. We asked for a time change for our taxi pickup which did not happen. The staff said they would call our room to confirm but they never did and the change was not made. The room was small but clean and the bed comfortable. The stand up shower head did not have good pressure. We used the shower head for the tub instead. We were on the first floor and could easily hear our neighbors above as they walked around so you might choose a second floor room for your trip. The guest WiFi did not work at all when we were there. The staff attempted to help us by providing the staff WiFi password but that didn't work as it constantly dropped the connection. In today's world, consistent and reliable WiFi is equivalent to running water. I was quite surprised the WiFi didn't work given the quality of this hotel. The breakfast bar was average to below average. I was surprised at the lack of options and the overall quality of the food offered. It was disappointing. Overall, our experience was quite mixed but overall positive. It is not a place we'd stay again but nothing we regretted for a short stop in between other destinations.

This trip, been here twice. i can see T-3 from the front door of this Hotel. Not exactly next door , but less than ten with your bag. We came here tonight planning to fly tomorrow mid morning and not have to be involved with work traffic on the RER - B train or other travelers needing to be at CDG early. We can breakfast here or in the Terminal. Decide Tomorrow.

When you come up to the hill, you enter the grand entry of the majestic architecture of this Chateau. The actual hotel rooms are situated in the northwest of the original Chateau. An exquisite grand lobby/entry welcomes you when you first step into the building. There is a restaurant and a bar which is situated in the main Chateau. This resort also has an indoor pool with spa and a gorgeous chandelier right above it. There is a workout room and a steam room adjacent to the pool area. Several meeting areas are also situated on this floor. In the back, there is a huge patio area with seating. The rooms at this resort are large and spacious. There is a flatscreen TV with entertainment system as well as free wifi throught the property. The rooms are pretty energy conscious as you must put your room card key in the slot right just inside the doorway to operate the lighting. There have been times where I accidentally forgot the room key in the slot and locked myself out of the room upon exit. Fortunately the staff is very friendly and understanding and will issue you a new card key if needed. If you are looking to experience France and the French countryside, this is resort is the place to be!

Especially the brisket, a particular favorite of mine when it comes to BBQ. The mac and cheese was a solid side, but the coleslaw was underwhelming. As Americans, yes, we expect large portions. I've been to Europe often enough to manage those expectations pretty well, so I was also pleased when we each reached a comfortable stopping point and were able to get takeaway boxes for our leftovers. I know it's traditionally trés gauche to take leftovers from French restaurants, but I was happy to see that the trend is catching on. After all, not wasting food is a good thing, is it not? We carried those leftovers all the way to Amsterdam the next day--that's how much we wanted to finish them. We opted to sit in the terrace seating that has a suspended plank for a table so that we could people watch Rue St. Denis, a busy street in this arrondissement. It's in a great neighborhood that was vibrant and full of life, even in the wake of the pandemic.
