H&H Movers is the absolute best! After reading (and hearing) all the horror stories about other peoples' moving experiences with other moving companies I was extremely apprehensive about my move to Lake Mary in Central Florida from Oakland Park in Fort Lauderdale. Not only had I never used professional movers before for my previous moves, but I had been in my house for 22 years and had accumulated a lot of stuff so I was starting out already stressed out and overwhelmed. I called several different companies for estimates, and received quotes all over the spectrum; some low, some high, and some in the middle. Many were vague and non-committal, and most said they didn't need to come see what I needed to move before giving a quote, which made me nervous (they just asked for a list.) Speaking to Harry of H&H Movers on the phone, I felt comfortable with him right away, and when he came to my house (on time!) to give me an estimate he gave me a firm quote, addressed all my concerns, and won my complete confidence. His price wasn't the lowest, but it was very fair considering how many boxes I needed to move (I did my own packing---the moving crew just came to load the truck, drive to my new address, and unload boxes and reassemble furniture items.) On the day of the move the crew (Jason, Dennis, and Moses) arrived right on time, gave me a time estimate for loading the truck of 3 hours, but they finished in half the time, and left. The crew was professional and polite throughout.They arrived at my new address exactly on time again, and unloaded my items carefully, quickly, and without incident or damage. In the end, my bill was exactly what Harry and I agreed on, the crew was efficient and professional, and ALL my possessions arrived at their new location safely and on time. Wow!!!!! I am so glad I called this company to load my 16 foot Pod. The Pod company gave me some referrals but they all had terrible reviews. H & H had great reviews so I gave them a call. The owner was very nice, let me know how many hours to expect, and assured me his guys would be there at 8am on a holiday. I had time to pack everything up myself but needed help moving all my boxes and select furniture pieces into the Pod. Jason, Moses and Sean were AMAZING! They came in ready to work, brought all the dollies, ramps, etc,, to make it a breeze. (They had supplies ready if I needed it, but I had everything already). They carried out 4-5 (heavy) boxes at a time on the dollies. I wasn't sure if my stuff would all fit in the Pod - it looked like it would be really close. But Jason stacked the boxes so perfectly from floor to ceiling in the pod and tied it down. Everything fit with some room to spare! Just Amazing. I never would have been able to do what they did. They were fast, took care with my belongings, and worked efficiently as a team. I highly recommend them for your moving needs large or small. read more

H&H Movers was recommended to me by my realtor. I had already interviewed several movers and made a selection for a move that was to occur in less than a week (this was in February 2015, so not very long ago). Harry, the owner, rearranged his schedule to give me a quote which was significantly lower than the quote I had received from a larger company that I was going to use. I hired him on the spot and he worked with me to get me moved seamlessly. I had lived in the house I was moving from for 17 years and moving into a smaller condo on the 5th floor of an elevator building. Harry's crew showed up on time, were polite and very nice. They worked non-stop and were careful with my belongings. They helped me set up beds and put the furniture in place. Nothing was scratched, broken, or dented. No walls were scuffed, no trash was left, and the 3 guys that did the move were just very pleasant and careful with my stuff. THE BEST EVER! Wish I could rate 10 stars! I've had many moves over my lifetime and never ever had one this good. No, not good, perfect! First step was talking to Harry, which was a pleasure - a smart, friendly & truly honest guy who, after doing a quick look at our place, gave me a high and low estimate based on number of hours & movers (he suggested 3). The high was about what I expected, but the low seemed unlikely, even though Harry said "My guys are really efficient & I think you'll be happily surprised at the end." Boy was he right. My final cost was not only at the low end (lower than any other mover's quote), but his movers were amazing. Super courteous, genuinely nice guys who took excellent care of all of our stuff and did it in record time. One of the movers told me that Harry is a great guy and that he's been with him from the beginning, 16 years ago? That says it all, doesn't it! H & H Movers was recommended to us by our realtor, as we were selling our home in Broward County and moving to St Lucie County. Upon meeting Harry, we were impressed by his friendliness, flexibility and fair pricing (and we had checked around). He was very accommodating regarding our moving date and was confident all our belongings would fit on one truck. On June 27, the crew arrived promptly and well prepared for the job at hand. They wrapped and moved all the furniture we were taking, as well as loading everything we had packed. The crew worked very hard, especially since we had a two-story home. Upon arriving at our new home, they graciously placed all the furniture and boxes as instructed. The fact that nothing was damaged in this huge undertaking was exceptional. Please...!!! If you're thinking about moving, DO NOT USE ANYBODY ELSE. I am a sceptical and cynical human being at the best of times (and Scottish) , so you can imagine my disposition when it come time to move, and to a 4 storey townhouse!. I called Harry who promptly arranged a date to meet me at my home to review my contents. We decided on a date and cost (which was surprisingly fair). His team ( Jason, Moses and Dennis) showed up exactly on time and took over ... truly a great experience. They moved my stuff safely and accurately, my fiance had taken pictures of all the pieces and placed duplicates of the pics where each piece was to be placed. There was one very large and stubborn piece of a couch which proved to be incredibly difficult to get to the 2nd floor. The guys persevered and managed to navigate it there. A truly excellent moving experience! From the start, Harry was responsive, professional & efficient with the estimation, scheduling and through the actual moving process. Jason and the crew did the "heavy lifting" and got our move done seamlessly. This review is long overdue. A few years ago I moved from Florida to California and had one of the worst experiences of my life. Used a well known 5 star rated company which turned out to be a disaster! After arriving weeks late when it did finally get there had major damage to many of my belongings and furniture. Moved back to Florida last year and used a small company with a much better result. Had to put everything in storage until I was able to move into my home. When we were ready to get into our house I made the best choice ever. I called H & H movers and spoke to Harry. What a guy! Honest, helpful, caring, dependable and very fair priced. This is the second time I hired Harry and his team. The process begins with Harry. He does the scheduling and planning of the move. If he can walk through the place where the move originates, he does. If not, he examines pictures and tries to guage how much time and effort is involved. He provides an estimate, which was too much the first time and spot on the second time. On moving day, his workers show up on time and dig right in. They are very professional and very enthusiastic! They are also nice to be around. They work quickly, carefully, and efficiently. They pack all your precious items cautiously, so as not to damage anything. When they reach the destination, they use the same professionalism as packing and loading. Everything arrived in one piece, although I knew it would!! Just wanted to leave the best possible review for the owner, Harry, and his employees. I live in KY and after my sister and brother-in-law passed away suddenly in Tamarac, FL, I needed a mover to clear out their condo in Fla. I chose H&H Movers based on all the great reviews. All of the reviews were certainly right, as H&H was great to deal with ! They were able to deal with a neighbor in the building where my sister lived, and showed up on time to load the truck. The neighbor reported that they worked very hard, and wrapped everything securely before locking up the condo and departing. All of the contents and furnishings went to a family member in Tallahassee, Fla. Everything was unloaded quickly, and completely undamaged ! Harry came over and gave an honest , fair quote. He was not the lowest price but was spot on when told us we would need 2 trucks, several other moving companies said we would only need 1 truck. We decided to go with Harry as he was highly recommended from a local realtor, as she recommends him to all her clients and have heard only great reports from her clients after their moves. Harry and his team moved us 2 hours north and all went just as planned without incident. All of my most valuable and delicate furniture were delivered in great shape. I really wished I could give H and H Movers a 10 or more. This is our second move with H and H in two years. Harry is so personable and makes moving much easier for us. About a month ago I hired H&H Movers to move my belongings from one house to storage for a few days, and then to a new house. The three men they sent were extremely nice and handled my furniture with care. The problem was that the truck they sent was too small. Everything was crammed into the truck. Thus, there was much damage to my furniture. Three ends of my dining room table were bashed, my wooden bed frame was scraped, my 32" TV, that they wrapped, was broken beyond repair, and my pole lamp was broken. Also, $60 worth of brand new clothing that I had just purchased for my granddaughters was "missing" . Harry compensated me $300 for all of this. Needless to say, I do not recommend them. read more

We booked our day for a couple weeks out, and when a bigger job came up for him for the same day, he honored our agreement since we were not able to reschedule. On the day of the move, Jason and his crew arrived 15 minutes early. They were fast, careful and efficient, taking apart furniture, safely wrapping and packing all artwork and kitchen items and then unpacked and reassembled all at her new apartment. Outstanding service with incredible care for my furniture. Every piece was wrapped very carefully. I was nervous bc I had collected a few pricey Baker pieces but these movers were top notch, I definitely had a white glove experience. I believe they are A+ rated from BBB, they were when I looked them up on BBB. That is rare, plus they are small enough and local so you aren't going to end up with a lot of new last minute movers. Their rate was the best quote I had and Harry came out to estimate the work and gave no surprises. Each of the movers were extremely polite and careful when they met my 90 yr old mom. I chose H&H movers without knowing anything about them only what I saw on their reviews. Harry came over to the house he looked at all the items that I had to move and told me that I would need four men, they did a wonderful job they did it very fast very efficient they didn't break anything the most important thing is is that I got to leave my clothes in my dressers and I didn't have to take them out. When arriving to the new place they put everything in the right place put all my furniture back together they were very efficient and very nice gentleman. Well, they are REAL reviews! Jason, Moses and Dennis showed up 15 minute early. They worked quickly and efficiently. They were polite, friendly and professional. My husband and I reviewed quite a few moving companies for our move, not knowing the area that well, but we felt Paul gave us the most fair pricing and attention to the family. When Jason and his crew came to the home, they were friendly, had a great attitude, and most of all, worked really hard and had our 3 bedroom home out and moving to our new destination in no time! They even knew how to dismantle and reassemble my california king bed (which my last movers didn't know how to) and were finished before the expected time.
