Not sure if it was just me or not, but I didn't find a whole lot of interesting things at this location. Usually my trips to H&M result in me not leaving empty handed, but this time that was the case. I won't judge it too harshly though. My first time coming to this store , I am leaving Utah in three days & also saw the sign upfront where it's said SALE lol..! I ended up getting 10 T-shirts , sweaters & couple of full sleeve shirts . Because they were only 5-7$ & I need to get some gifts for all the gentlemen on my family . So I saved a lot of money & it's really good quality too . Funny thing is most of the items are made in Bangladesh so I can't send it back home lol ! Customer service was excellent, the girl who helped me today I wished I have asked her name . Typical retail store. The stars goes to the cashier that was friendly . Other than that it was very lacking. I've been to several h&m stores and it's all the same. Honolulu is probably the friendliest . I would come back though. Prices are reasonable. read more

Cute, cheap clothes for my daughter? Yay! Bitchy, half witted fitting room attendants? Boo! My daughter and I spent about an hour choosing outfits to try on and headed to the fitting room. I went to the room with my 11 year old daughter because she's still at an age where she needs help deciding if something will work. I was told to get out of the fitting room. Okay. Told daughter to walk out front after trying on each article of clothing. While waiting outside the fitting rooms, I overheard the attendant speaking badly about me to two other attendants. She mimicked stabbing herself in the head. Funny! I let them know that everyone outside could hear them. I received a "cow chewing cud" stare in response. Another mom walked back with her daughter a minute later and that was a-ok. I asked if they just pick and choose who can go back, or.....? Response? "She needs to see what her daughter is trying on." Hey, can you take your imaginary ice pick and stab ME in the head? My daughter ended up with close to $300 in back to school clothes in the "keep" pile, but they were all left in the store. I planned on taking older daughter on her spree the next day. It's too bad that stores allow sh$tty employees to drive away customers. read more

Boy, oh boy this location is really something else. They have LOTS of room for improvement in the customer service department. After calling the customer service line to check for a dress availability the staff proceeded to hold the item til I arrived. I drove all the way from Ogden to Farmington to pick it up and they pulled the most wrinkled mess of a dress you can imagine. I asked if there was a more pleasant one and the staff member said very abruptly, "I really wouldnt know." No no no. The correct response is, "Let me find out. One moment." Maybe it's becuse they are severely understaffed. Maybe it's because she was not properly trained. Or maybe its because she had no manners. Point of the story is that I bought the wrinkled dress and I have to pay to have it professionally pressed. Won't be returning to this location anytime soon. read more

There were so many things I was sad to leave behind when I moved from Seattle to UT: Trader Joe's, real/fresh seafood, and H&M. I was thrilled when the H&M in Farmington opened! My deprivation was over! Or was it???? I have been shopping at this location twice, and both times I have left disappointed. Their selections haven't been great, and the customer service is sub-par. The upstairs area of the store, where the kids stuff is never has an employee to be found! This was especially frustrating when I was trying to track down some plain t-shirts, for my daughter, in a specific size. And don't even get me started on the wait time at checkout! I waited in line for so long, that the clothes I was purchasing went out of style by the time I made it to the register. I know H&M can do better than this! Beautiful store but the staff has kind of a attitude problem. I went to purchase an item that was on a rack that was labelled $12.95 but when I went to the cashier she rang it up as $14.96. When I went to correct her she said I was wrong. I mentioned that the rack had the same shirt in multiple sizes be she still said I was wrong. She got a supervisor and the went to check and didn't even go look at the rack. They cited that the sign on the rack said "select Styles only" It's $2 buck I know but, it makes me hesitant to buy anything there again. Who know what price it will be! read more

Wow I was just at the downtown location and had a great experience. This one is really bad. Not that great of a selection. When you walk in the music is blaring so loud I almost walked out. I had to raise my voice to tell the woman in the fitting room that I had 3 items. She apologized for it being so loud but no one turned it down they all just yell at each other to hear. Have gone into this store a few times, and the employees are friendly. The merchandise isn't all over the floor like it is in most other stores. It's usually kept sized. My only gripe is that I'm between regular size and plus size, and according to the directory at the front of the store, plus is carried, but I haven't been able to find it, unless it's upstairs with the kids clothes. I haven't looked hard, and if I was REALLY concerned I would ask for help. I've been able to find cute stuff in the regular size. read more

This specific H&M sucks. They are low in associates. I couldn't find anyone to help me find what I was looking for. The music was also way too loud. Couldn't hear myself think. My friend got me a necklace from this store for Christmas but when I opened my gift, the necklace was broken (pearls all over the floor) and the antitheft device was still on the necklace. I did not have the receip but I went and explained the situation. The cahier was super nice and called the manager to check with her. The manager had a major attitude towards me, not greeting me as a customer, did not even give me a chance to explain myself and told me that there is nothing she could do about it. Which I can understand since I did not have the receipt but I am sure there is a nicer way to tell it than just giving me attitude and sort of implying that if the antitheft device was still on, it was a proof that the purchase never happen. She couldn't hear that if the antitheft was still on, it was the cashier's faut ! I did not expect a store manager to have no basic manners. Or, because of my accent, they decided not to bother with a tourist ? Sorry, I live here. Definitely not going back! read more

love the clothes not the customer service. took my stroller with my son into it and was told I had to squeeze myself and my stroller into a tiny stall. the girl said strollers are not allowed in the large stall and it is reserved for handicap. really? never ever been to a clothing store that didn't accommodate strollers. so here I am wedged in a corner trying to find enough room to maybe lift my leg to try some leggings on. I was so mad!! talked to the manager who said this was unacceptable and would speak to her. who really knows if this happened. they all seemed like high school buddies or something. people at register were OK.
