However after that the communication totally broke down and she pretty much ghosted us when we had questions about our tax return. As someone using a CPA for the first time, I found myself wondering why am I paying when I feel like I am trying to figure this out alone (basically felt abandoned). We asked some basic questions back in March, she responded once, and that was it. She then emailed my husband that she's been on a trip to Japan. Going out of country right during tax season as a CPA is a choice and that's fine, just COMMUNICATE WITH US. Anyways on Sunday, 3 days before taxes were due, we still had no reply so we just relented and submitted what she had prepared. Anyways, just disappointed. Not going to her next year. He then told me a week after uploading my documents actually it's going to increase to at least $500. I simply said it seemed a little unprofessional to suddenly increase the original estimate 30%+. He said, and I quote "I'm really not interested in working with someone who calls me unprofessional. I'll finish this year's return for you, but you will have to find another office after this year." Is customer service not a thing with this company??Maybe take the feedback instead of being defensive. After 2…read moreyears, I received a letter from the IRS stating that my taxes were not filed from the past two years. To get straight to my point, there was an issue with my pin. However, Albert did not resubmit my taxes or contact me to solve the problem. In short, I'm stuck with a bunch of late fees and also didn't qualify for some state incentives. I contacted Albert by email, phone and in person. He resubmitted my taxes after 2 years and they were finally accepted. He told me in person that he would send me a form to look into getting my late fees dropped, but I haven't received anything. My biggest disappointment is that he never reached out to help me. I had to email and go in person to try to solve all these issues. No apologies, no how can I help you.
