The amount of time I spent on the phone following up after not getting responses was much more than it should have been. I also was verbally told that after I put my banking information in and signed the forms everything would be paid for by Scofield, and I wouldn't need to do anything. Fast forward to three months later and I get a bill in the mail saying I hadn't paid my state's income tax. Now I have to pay that along with three month's of interest, all because there was a miscommunication. I called them and they said there was nothing they could do...not even pay the interest, and they didn't own up to making a mistake. If I had known the trouble this would be I would have rather spent a few hours to do my own taxes.

From day one Natalie was prompt in returning my phone calls, emails and her staff continued with that policy. As a client that would be needing seven (7) tax returns completed I asked her for a price up front and it was the same amount when the bill came due, no surprises or add in charges. I am probably one of the few people in the US that actually reviews their tax returns every year and they were spot on. Not only were they correct but Natalie even told us that if we made a payment to our IRA how much it would lower our tax bill. Our filing appointment was so simple and they were knowledgeable on every step and had answers to every question we had. At no fault to them, our tax return got delayed and we got a letter from the IRS saying we were only getting a portion of our refund. I called Dallas and he spent 1+ hours with me on the phone with the IRS getting it sorted out. Long story short we got it resolved and I couldn't have done it without him! (I don't speak taxes).
