They filed my business taxes late in May of 2024 because the owne, B.J had health issues. They filed my business seperate from my personal 1040 return. I asked ahead what would be my tax liability. They told me $3,900.00 total for both after they filed. Well that wasn't the case. They submitted my return without me seeing the return and approving before they filed. So now I owe $19,000.00 on top of the $3,900.00. I was in a panic and sent emails, phone calls and messages. They refused to answer my calls, and emails. So I had to call the hair salon next door to find out that they were actually in the office. So I notified the airhead and the owner that I contacted the business next door and they said they can't stand them next door. A lot of clients call the hair salon because they are irresponsible and lazy. They had the nerve to tell me that I have issues because I left so many messages in a weeks time. Not everyone has an extra $20k sitting around. They negligected to file any extensions for personal or business. I owe an extra $3,000.00 because they didn't file an extension for being late. They told me they will not fix my returns and to go somewhere else because I busted them out calling next door. I wouldn't trust these people ever again. I have begged them that I don't have the money and I need my return amended. They will not answer my messages. Run away from these people! You have an imcometant idiot that screens calls and emails. No one is a priority but themselves. They were reported to the IRS. The IRS admitted they were definitely negligent. I'm so stressed out, I don't know where else to turn. I also asked for a refund because they didn't complete my tax returns the correct way. I was told no refund! Best of luck dealing with these incompetent idiots! Pretty fun how after people write bad reviews, suddenly a couple of 5 Star reviews show up afterwards. I' whomever posted 5 star reviews was a relative or a friend asked to post a positive review! First, being a teacher I usually get the Educators expense. She started arguing. With me that I didn't have the receipts with me. I can show you my Amazon and Walmart account. I've never been asked upfront to bring them or produce them. Then she kept insisting we need our health form. How many times did we have to tell her that we get insurance through our work. We don't have Marketplace Health Care. This was after our initial appointment bc she forgot. In the initial appoint she started yelling at me to a point that she had to get her secretary when I said no I didn't have the receipts and don't have to add it in. I told her no three times. What didn't she get about that? All I did was ask. I didn't think I should have my head chewed off. Then she kept insuating I called her stupid bc she kept saying I am very bright. No one said you weren't miss. At this point my blood was boiling. I got up and left after the last signature and at 10:40 we went to get a drink and a shot. I am hoping that they filed on time. If not I think it's her responsibility. She should have told us all the forms we needed up front. If we had health insurance through our work places we usually sign that form to indicate we don't need insurance. I think will stick with Hewitt from now on. Not much better but professional people who don't give you the run around. Also every time, we have owed with H&R. Everyone time we got money back with Hewitt. She was also telling me I needed to work more over time to make. Miss my whole life last year 8-6 not including an hour to and from work and that was all over time. I am a teacher. I can't just demand over time. It just left me feeling inadequate, drained and done. I'Mybin laws use her and recommended her. I will never recommend her or this H&R block.

Then she makes corrections and now I'm getting back Money....YEAH...WELL NOT YET!!! Then, she makes more changes and now my Refund is LESS than before. Then, I'm given a pick between two choices...I pay or get a Refund...what would any other Dumbass do???!!! By this time I have to use a Washroom and I ask her if there's a washroom that I can use and she says sure and that she would have everything ready by the time I get back. I get back and she's up front talking to someone else and I sit there for at least 10 Minutes until she finally shows up and she says that she needs my Bank Account Information. I tell her that I have been having my Taxes done here for the last 15 Years and she said that they didn't have any Information!!! So, I had to use one of their Computers to Logon to my Checking Account to get the Information she needed which made me VERY Nervous!!! I give her the Information and then she's going back and making more changes...what the heck is going on now???!!! Then, I was Charged another $273.00!!! I got the Insurance included in case these IDIOTS SCREWED UP MY TAXES AGAIN like last Year!!!
