Really disappointed with the tax services when you're paying such a high premium to file the taxes. Reasons: 1. Errors on tax at first for which it was not accepted. Fixed after a week when I had to call them out. 2. Put my bank direct deposit information incorrectly and when I called in the Tax Pro to fix it, she just yelled at me and refused to accept that she even put in that information. I've the document in my hand where it shows the information is incorrect and with her name on it. Really very unprofessional. For this reason I haven't received my refund yet. I would like to get a call back from the Manager of this location to see why the Tax Pro working there, doesn't have any proper information or customer service training when they make the errors. Receptionist was super sweet and helpful ! But the woman that did my taxes, Rocio was very unhelpful and made my first experience filing at this company horrible. I asked her questions about my taxes and forms she ignored them and never really answered my questions. She was more concerned about getting paid at the end which is all she kept mentioning. I used TurboTax for years and thought it would be better to go to an actual Tax consultant, but in the end I wish i never came here and just use Turbo Tax instead...I had an issue and she never helped to give me some kind of guidance or solution, it was very a very broad solution if anything. She probably took 5 minutes and then sent me upfront to pay. I walked out feeling depleted . She asked me about my job positions more than answering my general questions about my W-2s and helping me . This is not how you should treat first time customers , or anyone acquiring for u help and services. read more

We have come to rely on this place over the last few years for our tax returns. They were always wonderful, friendly, and efficient. This year, however, things took a turn. All the original staff seem to have gone. The receptionist is talking loudly on the phone without a mask. There is no air conditioning and the door is wide open, when its 105 outside. None of the staff have English as a first language, which means they don't know what I'm talking about half the time. They are attitudey. I ask for copies of the things I signed and they spend ten minutes trying to justify why they haven't got time to do it. I understand the need to drop off documents rather than sit with the advisor, but this meant that the personal service was gone, and it takes a couple of days rather than a couple of hours. And they charged MORE THAN 50% HIGHER FEE compared to last year, for doing the same return. read more

I had my taxes done at this office 4/9/19. Paid Federal through my bank account and requested $560. State tax be deposited into my bank account. Paid $198. for this service. Today 9/18/19 I received a letter from Franchise Tax Board stating that my Direct Deposit request Disallowed because they cannot deposit more than two refunds into the same bank account. I don't have two deposit requests into my Chase account. I called H R Block and was told that the Saticoy office would not be available until January next year, The Chatsworth office person was no help at all. My concern is that H R Block abviously put in a demand for two refunds into the same account. Have no idea whos account, nor were they any help in resolving this matter. Never go to H R Block Never they do not offer assistance nor resolve any thing. What a waste of money their Guarantee regardidng making an error is nothing. read more
