Recently, my house had damaged from Helene and my contractor Nick owner of Ridgecut Roofing came immediately. But after that he stopped calling me or texting me and just ghosted me during one of my most stressful times of my life. For me being miles away from my home and especially during a crisis. I understand that having a property management company to handle things for you while out of town can be a pain and it requires more headaches of trying to coordinate with the tenants but communication is the key and if Ridgecut Roofing didn't have the time or want to have the hassle of dealing with a property management company, Nick could have just communicated to me that he was unable to complete this job for me but what he chose to do instead was leave me hanging without a word. I know his company prides itself on communication but I'm here to tell you, no one communicated with me regarding my property. In the past I've referred Ridge Cut Roofing to everyone I know due to Nick quick and timely response but I'm not sure what has happened to him in the last few years and as much as it pains me to have to say this, I wouldn't recommend RidgeCut Roofing to anyone moving forward. I now give RidgeCut Roofing a 0 star for not communicating that he couldn't do or complete the work at my property and not to mention how disappointed I am with Nick himself as a person. The knowledge, experience, and integrity they and their GAF-certified crew bring lays to waste the adage that 'everyone experiences at least one bad roofer in their lifetime.' We no longer have to with Whipple Roofing. Stan is always (!) one text, email, or phone call away (which is more than I can say about my insurance company regarding my April 26 hail storm claim). I told a Liberty Mutual manager it's embarrassing when the roofer becomes your source of policy information and not your insurance company. Yet also your gift as Stan is more than willing, and capable to kindly, and with great patience walk you through this confusing and challenging process. In the end, yours is an aesthetically and structurally superb roof covered by a consumer-oriented contract and warranty that I suspect is superior to this area. Also, as Stan says they aren't going anywhere (even my last roofer, Home Depot, has quietly folded their roofing division). I believe him and am thankful to the Lord they aren't.
