I had them come out to check my Mr. Cool's mini splits, because they sounded like they were leaking. Eric said they can check them, but can't order parts for them, that is up to you to deal with the company. They charged my system and checked out the mini slit that was leaking and the technician showed me where it was leaking and then he had to leave for training. He said to check the other units and send pictures, so I did. The next day I called and asked when they were coming back to check the other three and he said they would have to put me back on the list. I called the next day and just asked for a letter from them to send to Mr. Cool warranty department stating the mini split was leaking, so I could get a replacement for it and Eric said, "The owner doesn't feel comfortable putting his name on a letter to another company stating the unit was leaking." I will never use a company that can't stand by their work. I called on a Wednesday and they said they'd see my by lunchtime, but they were busy I suppose. So I called the next morning and came within an hour or two. My entire hvac system was inoperable. The thermostat was functioning. I was worried this would be a break the bank type of repair. The technician came out and immediately spotted a bad drain microswitch that my builders used (one of the cheaper ones) and said he'd return with the proper switches. $150 later and it's fully operational. Called on a Sunday, they got right out to my house. Met with the maintenance tech (Doug) and he told me what issues to expect. He inspected the system, inside and outside, isolated the fault to 2 sources, replaced 1 part and serviced the refrigerant. Our experience with this company has been very positive. We had a problem with our heating unit the technicians came and diagnosed the problem ordered parts and within a couple of days our unit was working properly. We were extremely pleased with our technician (Morgan), he is very professional yet friendly. He was knowledgeable about what he was doing and we felt confident in his work. I love working with Davis Air. I have used them at work on many occasions so they were my first call when I came home after 8 pm from work and the temperature in my house was 83 degrees and rising. Travis came out within 30 minutes of my call and had my house cooling down in no time. He also took the time to make some recommendations that could make out unit run more efficiently. I have been working with Davis Air Cond. for the past 4 days while the temp was in the 90s. His service guy came out to evaluate and estimate the repair. Said he would be back later and never showed. Spoke with Jason the next day who placed an order for part to install. Said it would arrive 2 days later and would call back to setup a schedule time to install. I called back 2 days later to ask about arrival of part ordered and a schedule time to show. Asked to speak to manager about why no one had called back to inform me about part arrival or scheduled time to show for repair. When insisting to speak with manager the person I was speaking to (Jason) finally disclosed to me he was the OWNER. The OWNER in dialogue was rude, evasive to reveal who he was, and seem to care more about his personal opinions to determine weather he wanted to provide service to me as a customer. He just lost a 2,000.00 deal due to a lack of being unprofessional and conducting business in a bias manner. Maybe next time he should worry less about a customer's personal life and keep it strictly on a business level. read more
