My entire hvac system was inoperable. The thermostat was functioning. I was worried this would be a break the bank type of repair. The technician came out and immediately spotted a bad drain microswitch that my builders used (one of the cheaper ones) and said he'd return with the proper switches. $150 later and it's fully operational. I'm pleased with their service and prices. I'd call them again.

I called the next day and just asked for a letter from them to send to Mr. Cool warranty department stating the mini split was leaking, so I could get a replacement for it and Eric said, "The owner doesn't feel comfortable putting his name on a letter to another company stating the unit was leaking." I will never use a company that can't stand by their work. Call Crump Air & Heat (229) 469-6340 they came out faster and gave me a letter I could give to the warranty department to get a replacement!

Last summer the Air conditioning wasn't working. The owner himself comes out and says that nothing is wrong. The next day it's over 90° in the house! I felt like I was being raped so I called the guy who put in the unit originally. His price was about HALF! So on top of the ridiculous estimate, Heath charged us $100 for his first visit of 10 minutes to say the AC was fine. My wife actually had gave him a check which I made her cancel. When Heath found out he started texting my wife. To the point that I had to call him and tell him that if he texted or threatened her 1 more time he would get a very up close and personal visit from me. Needless to say he didn't respond. He can bully a woman I guess but not a man. I'm certain they tried to take advantage of the situation due to dealing with my wife. Idiots. Don't trust them. Especially if you are a Woman!

Just for reference, I called another company first, was charged a $75 estimate fee they didnt even tell me over the phone. Then they didnt even do an inspection and said it would cost $1,500. I asked what the $75 was for and they said they'd give it back because they really dont know what it will take to do the job. So I called Waller Heating and Air because a neighbor had a great experience. Jonathan was great and they cleaned up after themselves and were gone before I knew it! I even purchased four additional filters so I can have extra.

Called Ray and Son and receptionist was friendly and a tech was dispatched within an hour, which I appreciated. After approximately 15-20 minutes of working on the outside unit, he said he had me up and running. However, this is when things went south. He said the total would be over $900. Shocked, I inquired about the exact diagnosis and services rendered. He had not even checked the inside unit. Two capacitors needed changing...that's it. They were charging $515 and $226, respectively. This didn't sound correct. I looked up the exact same capacitors--roughly $30-$70 per capacitor. I called the service supervisor and to confirm that they were actually charging such high prices. Was able to get $200 knocked off the price, but $695 total for diagnosis and to change out 2 capacitors (which literally involves shutting off the breaker, unscrewing a few screws, testing the capacitors, unhook a few wires, and plug in new capacitors) is absolutely taking advantage of/scamming people. Would of been over $900 had I not said something about it. I had to ask the tech multiple times for an actual invoice for records. His reply was "why are you being difficult". To top it all off, the tech made the comment of "Maybe this check won't bounce" as he was leaving. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, THEY ARE GOING TO WAAAAAY OVER CHARGE YOU!
